Very friendly staff and very helpful. Have previously bought a sofa from here and decided to purchase another one as great experience before.

I visited DFS today and ordered a coffee table. I just wanted to leave some feedback about the lovely lady who served me. She was extremely friendly, helpful and made the whole experience really enjoyable.

She had such a lovely personality and was genuinely a pleasure to talk to. I have to admit, I was quite taken by her charm and found myself leaving the store with a big smile on my face!

Thank you for the excellent service — she is a real credit to DFS.

Our experience of purchasing a sofa was very positive. The staff member, Zoe, who oversaw the process for us was very welcoming, informative, and helpful. She answered our many questions and was accommodating to our requests. Would definitely recommend the Crawley branch.

Zoe from Crawley was super helpful, polite and friendly. She’s was knowledgable with the sofas in store and helped us find the right one to suit our needs.

I find most DFS stores a bit overwhelming with sales staff everywhere trying to get you to
Buy from them, but the Crawley store was really nice and friendly. We were going to buy our sofa online via the DFS website, but the lovely staff that do not follow you around, or try and pressure you into making a decision there and then made us feel able to order in store :) would highly recommend this particular store.

Tom was excellent he was patient with us even though we were back and forth,he explained everything we needed to know and wasn’t pushy as many salesman are!!

Final Update: We have our new sofa and it works, perfect! Thank you DFS.

UPDATE: After 2 weeks of waiting, back and forth and having an engineer come around (14 weeks wait time for a speaker part order), the whole sofa will be replaced. I will update again once the swap over has happened. So far communication has been ok, there seems to be too many processes in place for DFS to communicate efficiently and effectively between their departments, which reflects on the communication to us - the customers. Just not feasible for us to sit and wait by our phone for them to make a decision, on who's going to say what from the handbook! When we finally got a phonecall from a manager, there was a lot more common sense involved. Hence why we have a replacement coming soon...

Old review:

The ordering and payment process for our Pierson Express 2-Seater Music Power Recliner was seamless, and the in-store staff were absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, the experience went completely downhill on delivery day.

​We paid a substantial delivery charge expecting a professional assembly, but what we got was a half-built, malfunctioning sofa. Upon inspecting the unit, my partner found a complete mess underneath the seats:

​Audio issues: Only one side has sound because a speaker doesn't work.

​Careless wiring: A lot of disconnected wires were simply dumped under the sofa. The delivery team entirely ignored the plug brackets and cable management pockets.

​Incomplete build: One of the sides wasn't even properly attached to the middle console section.

​Missing parts: There is a missing screw inside the console unit near the plug socket.

​To make matters worse, when we contacted customer service to report this, we were told we have to wait 72 hours just for a callback to arrange a service engineer to come out.

​Getting a new sofa should be an exciting time. Instead, we are left with a very expensive, partially assembled piece of furniture that doesn't even work properly.

Highly disappointing end to what started as a great customer experience. DFS needs to seriously review their delivery and assembly standards.
