Would have given DeWalt zero stars
Would have given DeWalt zero stars if it had been an option. Steadfastly refused to accept the strimmer that I bought from them was faulty. The second repair they did lasted less than an hour of light use. Appear happy to sell faulty goods that they don't know how to repair!
Impossible to register extended warranty
Products are great but it is impossible to register the 3 year extended warranty for my pruner. Where do you hide the serial number and product code.
This is the same nightmare for every product, as the result on half of my tools are registered losing out on warranty.
Terrible just Terrible
So I just paid a handsome dollar for a self propelled electric DeWalt lawn mower, current model. What a joke, it chews batteries, mows terribly, both the front and rear are about 5 inches away from your starting point so that means a lot more whipper snipper time. Power is lacking compared with petrol power. It's just a joke, however they managed to put the DeWalt name on the lawn mower 9 times so you are simply operating a mobile billboard to advertise a hopeless product.

I paid for the dewalt deal and have not received my order yet £70 paid months ago and still not received my order why
Purchased a leaf blower last fall and…
Purchased a leaf blower last fall and paid 500 with taxes for it. Used it 6-7 times and now it doesn’t work. Dewalt won’t warranty if or repair it even though it’s under warranty. Now I’m stuck with a piece of plastic junk. Don’t waste your money on this company and their products. Absolute garbage.
I’ve been a dewelt customer for over…
I’ve been a dewelt customer for over 15-20 years, but I am jumping ship. They suck!!!! I do not work construction. I do home projects so this drill barely got used. I had a offbrand drill last me 7-10years. I bought a DeWalt XR brushless motor drill didn’t even last me two years and they do not stand behind their product.. TRASH!!!!!!!!! I will never buy one of your products ever again and we’ll talk shit the rest of my life about your shitty drill!!!!!’
Dewalt circular saw
I’ve had my DeWalt circular saw away for repair for weeks under the 3-year warranty and had to pay to send it to a service centre over an hour away. For a professional-grade tool, this warranty service is really poor — no updates, no reimbursement, no reliability. Disappointing for such a trusted brand. I’m switching to another brand. Dewalt your warranty is an absolute joke.
Appalling service
Appalling service. Drill failed after less than 2hours use. Returned 3 times and they failed to diagnose it was the battery and didn’t say what they repaired.Mind boggling how inept they are, They’ve even suggested sending back for 4th attempt.

Absolutely shocking i have purchased two 360 green laser levels in the past two weeks £400 each and after unboxing both we're faulty , leaving multiple lines on walls .I have multiple photos
Don't buy DeWalt from Amazon
I live in Cyprus where cordless framing nailers do not exist so I ordered one from Amazon.de (DCN950) along with the appropriate nails. Gun arrived quickly but after 3 weeks still no nails. By this time Amazon's 3 week return window expired. Gun claims to handle 2,8-3.3mm nails. I special ordered 3.1mm nails. Gun jams every time. Amazon won't respond at all. DeWalt US and Germany say, sorry, we can't help you, contact the seller. I own many DeWalt but never again. I own a 500.00 euro nail gun that doesn't work. Lucky me. Thanks DeWalt.
Dewalt doesn’t stand behind their products.
Bought a dewalt jig saw which was great for 2 months. Then tool wouldn’t hold blade which would fall out while cutting. Dewalt refused to repair this tool under warranty because I bought it on Amazon from a vendor who apparently wasn’t an authorized dealer. Poor customer service. I’m done with Dewalt.
Two cordless drills
Two cordless drills, two warranty returns, both drills still kick into and out of reverse randomly. Customer service doesn't exist with this company anymore. Never again, DeWalt.
Not the De Walt from the nineties any more.
. Most of my power tools are deWalt but I will not be buying any more from them.
The quality, superior in the nineties, has steadily declined. Support nonexistent, getting warranty support difficult. to impossible.
The icing on the cake is the hand held wet tile saw DWC860W. The water system is junk quality, something typical for off brand tools going for less than half price. It's recall quality, de Walt does nothing on it. I am trying now since 11 days to get warranty support.
On edit: After two weeks of fighting with customer " service I received a replacement tool- something i did not ask for only needed the water assembly but it's good to have. The water assembly will likely fail soon again, it's junk quality. They unfortunately closed some of ther repair centers so the next one is fairly far away.
DeWalt Custom Service
I have all DeWalt tools and batteries and I needed a chainsaw so went for the DeWalt 18V XR chainsaw.
What a piece of....
Used it for about 10 minutes to cut some logs and it was blunt and would no longer cut anything.
I contacted DeWalt customer services and their response... Buy a new chain!!
I questioned the response and was basically told "tough s...".
I will be selling it and buying a proper chainsaw instead of this junk.
Very disappointed in the product and DeWalt customer services.
Don’t trust Dewalt or their product reps
I was told that The pex tool and sweg tool were the same and just to buy the heads I needed. After purchasing I found out that’s not truth I reached out to Dewalt customer service and got the run around for weeks with no resolution from Dewalts service rep Juan Manuel Chamucero Mendoza
After over 25yrs of using Dewalt I will now be switching tool companies since Dewalt does not stand behind their product reps information.
satisfaction guaranteed - really?
The saw arrived undamaged and I assembled it without issue. When I attempted to lower the blade the spindle that is used to raise and lower the blade housing became stiff and started sending out a tendril of aluminum indicating poor tapping of the aluminum housing where the spindle is meant to turn freely. I contacted the DeWalt service number and explained my situation and the fact that it cost me ~ $300 ship the unit to Panama and would cost double to return the saw so it made no sense to send it back. They advised me that the local service center would reach out to me which I did not believe would happen (it's Panama) so I requested the contact info for the local service center but the person on the other end of the chat simply ghosted me without a response. Ok, I chose to live here and accept the reality of getting help in Panama so took on the fix myself. I spent 9 frustrating hrs repairing the saw because I really needed to use it, never heard from the local service rep as they promised. I could not find a local rep either. I assumed DeWalt would stand by their product in one way or another (warranty says 'satisfaction guaranteed’). When I explained my fix and asked them to make it up to me with a free multi tool or at least some 20v batteries or something they basically told me to go pound sand - tough luck buddy. I finally got a service rep on the phone who basically told me the same thing, eventually offering a tape measure (shipping would cost more than the tape measure itself). So my high regard for DeWalt as a solid company has pretty well been destroyed. I received a faulty product and was given no assistance or recourse - very disappointed that this once fine company is so obviously deteriorating.
Tool broke within a month of buying
Tool broke within a month of buying, Dewalt wants to charge 60% of the price for repair.
I bought a 3400 gas power washer
I bought a 3400 gas power washer. This is the third job engine, constantly shuts down after an hour. I'm wondering if the oil they provided me was good oil. Also, the cord, it was so tight that when you go to pull it, it completely. The handle came off the coil spring. Disengage, you need a yeah, 5 sixteenths for the outside screws. You need a 10 mm for the inside. You get to the spring to reset it. And it's just been a nightmare, uh, is the engine good. Yeah, but I think the wall is getting into the power washer game, and they're going cheap. On some of their parts, so to solve this issue with a tight coil spring, when you buy it new, you need a longer cord. So they're going cheap on the cord. They're going cheap on the handle also from taking the cover off because I'm trying to get the job done and I'm getting lucky and doing it on one Pole, and it won't retract, but I finally got it to retract. The screw holes are not tightening the screws up because how they boarded. They went cheap. It's like they went cheap on the small stuff. The engine is good though so, but 3 stars because they need to improve. And if you're gonna get into the power washer game, don't go short on the small stuff, and why does the engine constantly? Keep going off. You know this is b*******

Trying to return boots I purchased and so far sent 4 emails to dewalt support and no response almost 2 weeks ago. Then called and they gave me the boa americas email and they got back right away unlike dewalt, and they said this issue is with dewalt so now I have to dispute with my bank. 4 thumbs down 👎 for this company I heard Milwaukee has much better service
