The process is painless enough, but my login details failed so I had to do the guest thing. I set up Design my night account stuff last year and it clearly wasn't sticky with your organisation.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Used them for 10 years and left
We used DesignMyNight as our primary ticketing partner for over 10 years and for the most part we got a 5* service. However, had to leave due to policy changes and retaining our customer data.
One thing worth noting early on is that some of the reviews you see on this platform can be misleading. Many are written by customers reviewing events hosted via DesignMyNight, rather than reviewing the ticketing service itself. These events are created by independent organisers, not by DesignMyNight. While they do acknowledge in responses that they are a self-service platform, the way reviews are presented can give a different impression at first glance.
Over time, we decided to move on as our needs evolved. As an event organiser selling over 9,000 tickets annually, having full control over our customer relationships became increasingly important.
One key concern for us was the customer experience. A number of our attendees reported receiving a high volume of marketing emails after purchasing tickets. In addition, customers were effectively required to engage with DesignMyNight’s platform before joining our own mailing list, which limited our ability to directly manage and build our audience.
We also found that, while DesignMyNight positions itself as a platform that promotes events, much of the traffic was being driven by our own marketing efforts. From our perspective, this meant we were contributing to their platform growth and visibility, while still paying a commission of around 10%.
There were also occasions where our events did not appear consistently across their listings, which raised some concerns around visibility and reliability.
To be clear, DesignMyNight provides a functional ticketing service and has been a significant platform in the events space for many years. However, for organisers who prioritise ownership of their customer data, control over communications, and transparent value from fees, it may be worth carefully considering whether the platform aligns with their long-term goals.
Beware if booking with Kevin
So they advertise an event with the incorrect time of 2-4pm Kevin phones you 2 days before to inform you if this and it should have been 5-7pm when you say that 2 of the group cannot do that time Kevin says he will refund the cost of the 2 tickets .. still waiting for the refund Kevin …
Numerous phone calls numerous emails
STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND THE EVENT WAS “@FREDDDIE DRAG BUS TOUR”
