Beautiful furniture and excellent shopping experience
A brilliant experience all round. Communications between the seller and me were conducted timeously and accurately, delivery went very smoothly between instructions, timings and the courtesy of the couriers. Ordered a Chesterfield sofa bed
Ordered a Chesterfield sofa bed, I was really indecisive about fabric and requested quite a few fabric samples which was no trouble, the customer service was fantastic and the sofa was delivered within the stated timeframes. It's absolutely beautiful. I think the website could be improved just because it isn't overly clear the vast range of bespoke options that are available, and I did receive follow up phone calls regarding samples after I'd ordered the sofa which was a bit annoying but generally it was a really positive experience and I'm really happy with the sofabed, I couldn't get what I wanted any where else.

Excellent customer service
The chair is beautiful! There was an issue as the chair was not put on the van so the delivery men showed up without it. This was required for my partners 40th birthday in 5 days time. The call centre weren’t very helpful but after contacting the team direct they went above and beyond to get the chair to me before his birthday and even provided a box of chocolates. I massively appreciate them sorting the delivery so he can have the chair for his birthday. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant customer service
Absolutely brilliant customer service. I could not find my matching footstool in the colour I wanted online to go with the chair I was ordering, and they completely and totally sorted it out for me. Rang to make sure I was happy with the style of the bottoms of the footrest. Would not hesitate to come to designers 4 U next time I need furniture. Many other companies were way over my budget. Thank you. I am delighted with my purchases. So sorry I cannot remember the date or reference number but it was recent, within the last few months.

Poor materials, bad workmanship. Waste of money!
I wrote a review on here and it was taken off as not a true review. So here we go.
Order no 163348.
This is a true review of poor workmanship, the sofa is only 3 years old and it has collapsed completely. Used by a couple in late 60s. So no heavy use. We have had so much trouble with this company. Faded cushions, poor delivery, popped buttons.
The materials and workmanship is so bad they haven’t included one spring. No good wood and what looks like ordinary fabric slings used in cheap beds.
I have sent them an email with my phone number. It is not up to me to chase them. They should be chasing me for customer support. I will continue to tell people not to waste their money. It all looks good at the start. Just give it time.

Bad customer service
I have been trying to find an occasional chair for several weeks and thought I had found one that would look perfect from Sofas 4U.
Before purchase I ordered swatches to see the fabric, I received 4 different swatches for main body of the chair and bolster, also one for the seat and back of chair, stating it was the colour as shown in the picture.
I had ordered a different swstch colour for the seat and back of chair but that wasnt sent.
I tried to order 2 different swatches again but only received one with a note saying the other colour was no longer available yet it was still shown online.
I was about to order but found there was no option to request the alternative colour for main body of chair so emailed them to check how I could do this, several emails later I am no nearer to ordering chair, I want to make sure the colours match.
Customer service really bad, they don't seem to understand your request and you cant speak to anyone in the actual shop.
Has totally put me off ordering it, if its this bad before ordering, imagine what it will be like once you've paid!

Patchwork chair and footstool
I purchased the patchwork chesterfield chair with footstool. I found the website designersofas4u. It was the best deal I found online. I did check reviews for the company as I don't have a great deal of money and couldn't afford taking a gamble.There was a mixture of reviews but I trusted the company. I'm glad I did. I was contacted regarding my choice of firm cushion. I was contacted regarding a delivery date. The chair and footstool arrived on time. It is just like the pictures, safety labels are connected to show it's genuine. I am so pleased, it is my forever dream chair. Thank you designer sofas 4 u.

I purchased the hoxley mid century olive leather chair and the 3 seater aviator vintage brown sofa and they are both lovely and good craftsmanship and I paid 50% deposits on both which made it easy to pay and the customer service and delivery was excellent and if I had more room ide buy more the items are SpongeBob comfy

Do not recommend.
Recently had 2 armchairs delivered. The delivery process was straightforward and the delivery men were polite and respectful so no problems there. However, the quality of the armchairs is not up to standard. The leather is crispy and rough and I’m questioning whether they’re genuine leather or plastic. The armchairs are a lot smaller than standard size and therefore very uncomfortable. I’m not satisfied with these and regret ordering from this company. Do not recommend!
