They massively overestimated the job of moving my belongings from a 50 sqm ground-floor apartment to a studio loft in a very accessible industrial building (with a large industrial elevator, easy access, etc.). I ended up paying a total of €2,700.

They sent two trucks and five men, which was completely unnecessary. On top of that, they broke one of my lamps and scratched expensive furniture, as nothing was handled with care.

When I complained, the only response from the company was to offer me a pathetic €100 “discount” — frankly insulting.

I can’t believe I paid such an insanely high price, only to receive such poor service and careless handling of my things, as if it were a cheap shipping job. What a joke.

I cannot recommend this company. Do yourself a favour and find someone else — I wish I had.

We were able to move all of my furniture in two sessions in different days. The first team was not informed in detail about the process because they even did not bring any equipment for detaching some of my furniture and they were obviously sub-contractor of Des Bras En Plus. They were not very professional either. I also made additional payment for an exterior elevator but when the elevator came, the operator said that it's impossible to use it. So, these things are definitely planning and organizational problems. My constructive criticism for you will be to organize an expert to have a look to both addresses (old & new) and make an appropriate plan for the timing and the tools to be used during the moving process. It will definitely increase your customer satisfaction. On the other hand, the second part of the process was completely the opposite of the first one. A very professional team, direct employees of Des Bras En Plus, came and they handled the remaining furniture and turned my whole experience into positive. I expected a refund for not using the external elevator, but they refused and told me that it's client's responsibility. They even told that, if I ask reimbursement for not using external elevator, I will need to pay more and compensate the workers for their additional effort :) Which is really funny. All in all, I recommend this company for moving only basic, light and small things. If you have delicate, complicated & heavy items which may need detachment & reattachment and need to be carried by care, you should pay more and find another company.

Edit 12/07/2023. After numerous emails with the company I have decided to change my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star. Although I was very disappointed with their service on the day of my delivery we have resolved the issue amicably and they have suggested to refund me 1/4 of payment (I will report on whether they finalize the payment). I just wished they responded to bad service with initial good service so that we don't have to go through this back and forth email exchange. For the record this is the part of the company working in Montpellier region so maybe other regions have a better experience.
