**Product:** Denver record players (130 and 250 versions)
**Pros:**
* Nothing
* Zero
* I can’t give less than zero

– Everything
– No tree was harmed to print the missing manual

**Full Review:**
I bought not one, but TWO record players from this brand (Denver) on Bolt Netherlands. First, I ordered the cheaper 130 version — it looked like it was assembled during a blackout. Horrible finishing inside, rough edges, just sad. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought: maybe it’s just because it’s the budget version.

So I tried the 250 version. Supposedly “better.”
Well. Let me walk you through it.

No charger. No manual.
I don’t know who thought you can sell a new electronic device without a charger — maybe the same person who thought "instructions are optional."

Finishing? A masterpiece of chaos.
Scratches, torn edges, hits, and wiggling legs. Yes, actual wiggling legs. Maybe it’s supposed to dance with the music — a little Shakira moment for your Maria Callas vinyls. Free interpretative dance included, I guess.

Sound? No idea.
Can’t test it without a charger.

The best part? It felt like a returned item thrown back in the box — but I paid for it as brand new.
So unless this company defines “new” as “possibly dropped off a truck and reboxed by an unpaid intern,” this was a total fail.

Never again. Two record players, zero working results.
Trust me: spend your money somewhere else.

It is not normal that there are no charger, or manual in the box, nor that it has scratches etc.
It could really sound like a returned and used unit that was sent out by mistake.

We are or course very sorry about that.

Both units are some that we have sold thousands of, and have very very little returns. (there will always be very few with error, no matter how much inspection you have, and no matter the brand)

We fully understand your frustration, and that you have lost your trust in our products, but we still hope you will consider an exchange again.

Excellent customer service

I purchased a speaker of this brand from Amazon a few years ago and was delighted with its sound quality and construction. I had some questions about a charging issue later on down the line (after much use); Amazon were unhelpful (unsurprisingly), so I reached out to the manufacturer.

They were very knowledgeable and open with sharing possible diagnoses and solutions, and I found the exchange with the Repair and Service team a delight (step aside, AI). My speaker is a comparatively old model but I appreciated that the customer service team took the time in dealing with my not-so-straightforward query.

Denver BPS-458 Party Speaker

I bought the Denver BPS-458 some days ago and really enjoy it! The RGB-effects are super cool and the equalizers also pretty good. The quality of the product is mid, the sound is clear and the speaker has a good bass. The only thing I dont really like about it is the missing software for this rather expensive speaker. Keep up making such cool products!

Worst brand ever

Worst brand ever, bought a few items everything is the cheapest electronics you can find, believe me temu with 2$ is more quality than this. 0 BIG ZERO

Yes, our products are entry level standard, but we differ a lot from cheap Temu products by having strict production control. (Before, under and after production).
We have full CE and EMC + you have full warranty according to your country rules.

Our vision is to provide consumer electronics to everyone, without having the high price that a-brands have.

But we can stand up for the quality and warranty of the products, just like other well known brands.

Bought a door dash camera

Bought a door dash camera, 90% of the time its offline it lags its battery barely lasts and i paid 85$ for it. Tech company that needs to go to 0 chinese products ranging from 2-5$ are better without a doubt.

With this said, we are of course sorry to hear you experience problems. That is not normal behaviour of these units, but like all other electronics (no matter brand) there can be a defective unit.

The good thing is that there are warranty/right to get repaired, so please contact the purchase place. They always handle warranty and can help you with repair or exchange.

Our products are low priced, entry level models, so they are not comparable with e.g. A-brands, but the price also indicates that, but for most people, they fill out the needs they have.

I bought a camera off them

I bought a camera off them, and it is THE WORST THINGS IVE EVER BOUGHT I RARELY POST REVIEWS BUT THIS IS BEYOND EXTREME CAMERA IS 70€ and temu cameras for 5€ have more product in them. disgraceful.

Not the best sound quality but it can play.

We bought a grammophone (Don't remember the name of it) from you guys and its pretty good. The sound quality is not the best but it can play.

Our products are in the lower pricerange, and are mostly for people who doesn't need the most expensive, but just need a product that does the job.
We think that it should be possible to listen to records, even on a cheap, and well playing unit.
So it is in our DNA to enable customers to get products that solves their demands, but to a reasonable and accessible price range.

Worst TV ever

Be honest and tell people that they don't last long and you have minimum amount of functions smart TV 2 years old screen just went completely blank all I have is Audio 300.euros . thanks Denver.

As you know, all electronic devices can be defective at some point. It is difficult to say exactly what has caused it, but it is of course not something that happens on all TV's.
We have sold thousands of TV's and have only a few with defective parts. (just like all other brands)

We understand this is frustrating, but i'm afraid that is how it is. Same goes if you have a car that suddenly gets a defect in a part.

Sorry to hear that. But i'm afraid things like this can happen with all electronics.
You can even experience that on e.g. a car.. is it then an awful product?

We don't think the 1 star review is very reasonable.. of course the product should last longer than four years, but it is very difficult to say what went wrong.
Maybe a power outage or something similar has fried som internals, or a power supply has given up.

You are welcome to send us an email with info about your product. maybe we can help getting it playing again. (could be a simple thing.. or it can be that the product simply has "died". Difficult to say.

Never the less, we are always here to help. At least to find out if it can be fixed in any way.

Coincidentally the warranty expires and the sound bar I bought breaks, very poor quality, buying Denver is throwing money away

Very sorry to hear that.
That is of course unfortunate, but can happen with all electronics. We have a very low failure rate on our products, but everything that has a power supply can be damaged by e.g. lightning, power loss or similar.

This can happen wether it is called Denver or anything else.

We fully understand it is very frustrating if that happened just after warranty expired. (it is never welcome that a product is not working of course), but i'm afraid we cannot help when warranty is over.

But to say buying Denver is equal throwing money away. We don't agree with that. We have lots of happy customers that buys our products and enjoy them through the years.

We hope that when the dissapointment has loosened, that you are willing to try another Denver product.

We purchased the Denver doorbell…

We purchased the Denver doorbell VDB-110 a few years ago, and it is still working well. Recently we needed to make the app work with a new Phone and had troubles getting it right. Support was very quick and kind to help us out to get it resolved.

TAQ-70333, Chromecast nogo

This review is about the 7" tablet TAQ-70333.

I have previously owned two 7" Denver tablets, TAQ-70222 as the latest one.
Unfortunately, the TAQ-70222 runs an android version lower than 5.0, and hence is no longer able to configure Chromecast WiFi connections.

I bought the TAQ-70333, android 8.1, to be able to run Google Home in order to configure my Chromecast devices.
The Google Home app launches, but seems to require Bluetooth in order to configure Chromecast WiFI.

Some braindead i..... have designet the TAQ-70333 WITHOUT Bluetooth. J....s.
It is therefore useless for chromecast owners, and I have returned it to vendor.

Sorry to hear the tablet didn't do the trick for you. But we always write what is included in the unit. We could put Bluetooth in all our models, but that would also mean that the sales price would be higher, and many users does not have need for Bluetooth. (and if they have, we also have models that has this)
So at the end of the day, everything is a question of demand. On this model the price is more important than the features, and this is why it is an entry level tablet without Bluetooth, without GPS, without possibility for simcard etc.

So, 11 months later, I wrote them another email. They responded with answer why have I waited so long. I replied that there is no regulation for waiting time and asked for customer support to send me another set, or refund, or give me a proof that they have sent it. They just stopped responding.
Stay away from these, spend money elsewere.
