Didn’t honor price match policy
Dennis Kirk advertises that they have a price match policy but when I called to get a price match for an order I was about to place, the rep told me that they do not price match on items under $100. My order would have been $143 after price match but rep claimed in had to all be one item and I was ordering two of the same thing (exhaust baffles). All other online vendors have a cutoff at $50. The lady was none too friendly either. Acted like she was being put out to help me.
I have ordered a lot of parts from Dennis Kirk in the past but never again. Based on the reply they don’t seen to care that they lost my business forever.

$70 restocking fee charged for removing the protective film on the visor during fitting
I purchased a Shoei helmet from the retailer. Upon receiving it, I reviewed the return policy on the order form so that I could adhere to their terms. Nowhere on the form did it mention that the film on the visor should not be removed or there would be a 10% restocking fee.
So I proceeded to remove the film so that a proper field of vision test could be done. I wear glasses and liked to make sure that "all's well" and that nothing was obstructed before keeping the helmet. Fortunately, the field of vision was great. Unfortunately, the helmet fit was too tight on the top of my head, even though it's the same size as my previous helmet from Shoei.
I tried to put the film back on the visor with the intention to protect it during transportation back to DK. Everything was packed up as carefully as I could.
After they received the package, according to DK, packing was "sloppy". Their customer rep also informed me that there would be a restocking charge of 10% or approx. $70 since the film was removed. And, that it's non-negotiable.
During the conversation with DK's customer rep, there were feelings of shame and frustration, I was belittled and talked down to. The rep asked, "would you pay full price for a helmet with the visor film removed?" Well, that depends if the visor was damaged in any way without the film.
Helmet is a tricky item to purchase from afar. This experience basically taught me to simply go to my local shop, even if it's 90 minutes away. Support your local business and be cautious of B2C arm of a brick and mortar shop like DK as it does not understand that business should be conducted with transparency and respect of customers.
I had a good experience overall
I had a good experience overall. Ordered a part for my harley when the package arrived it looked like a mouse chewed threw the box and on the part itself. Called on a saturday was informed i had to call back on a weekday to resolve. Upon calling again the receptionest handled my concerns and im currently waiting on my new part. Thanks Dennis Kirk for being a stand up company and taking care of the issue.
Old tires sold as "New"
I ordered 2 supposedly new tires from Dennis Kirk. They showed up fast. The front tire is fine but the rear tire has a manufacture date of MORE than 1.5 years ago. I have never accepted a tire that was sold as "NEW" more than 6 months old. Called customer service and was rudely told there is nothing they can do. Next stop is BBB. Never buy from this company. I have another motorcycle I need tires and parts for and I will never spend another cent at Dennis twerp.

I purchased a plane chrome fender skirt, and now I’m painstakingly trying to peel this plastic that it’s wrapped in off of it. I I’ve tried to blow drive tried everything to peel it. Fingernail scrape by scrape to get it off this piece of crap never again will I ever buy anything from these morons

Ordered exhaust to then get an email that they are discontinued a day later. Called manufacture of the exhaust and was told they are not discontinued. Called Dennis Kirk back to get nothing but an excuse. Will never do business with this company again. Highly unprofessional.

Ordered a pair of factory 47…
Ordered a pair of factory 47 handlebars. They sent me the wrong ones. She asked me what the sticker was on the packaging which was correct, but the bars were completely different. Didn’t really make an effort to make it right just pretty much offered to refund. If this one was Stickered wrong they all would be. Not really sure why they couldn’t physically check before sending ended up just ordering from factory 47. Will never use this company again

Bad Bad Company. Did I say Bad?
Used their on line system and entered the Make year and model to order chrome lower belt guard for my motorcycle. Ordered the part and they sent the one I ordered however it was incorrect. Call and spoke to the Women who handles this and she denied that the system did not happen. I used their app 3 times a it came up with the wrong part every time. Besides the wrong part selection using their app she was a nasty Twit. Very bad company to do business with. I recommend that you do not deal with this company I for sure will not. PS I have been buying Motorcycle part for 40 years and this was the worst customer service I have ever received . First time dealing with them, strike one Dennis Kirk your out!

MN nice! Small town for the world
Outstanding customer service! Friendly and knowledgeable sales agents, excellent technical support team. They might make mistakes, but, wouldn't anyone who ships out half a million items a week? Parts and gear for all your riding needs!
Great supplier
Great product good price and fast shipping. Ordered and 2 days later it was at my front door.

I spent $700 on an S&S super E mini carb for my Harley a month ago. I've been running the motorcycle every day. Last night the carb leaked gas all over my garage thru the carb overflow tube. I contacted Dennis Kirk to see what they would do about it since it was $700 and only a month old. They never replied to my request
I finally spoke with Dennis Kirk company and basically they told me to reach out to S&S so they were no help. There are MANY complaints on the S&S carburetors but places like Dennis Kirk continues to sell the junk and not able to help with anything. All S&S told me was to rebuild the NEW carburetor. Needless to say huge waste of $700

Good website, parts in stock, fast ship!
I've had very good motorcycle parts shopping experiences with Dennis Kirk. The website is easy to navigate, parts are verified for your bike, most parts are in stock and ship promptly, and the company supports veteran charities.
Won't be fooled again.
I purchased two items from them less than 1 hour apart. These items were very small therefore they could/should have gone in the one package. Instead, they send two packages. Coming to Australia the cost was $400 AUD. The items themselves was about $20 AUD. Tried ringing the number/s would say disconnected. Sent an email and got a reply. I own a 74 FLH Shovelhead and I'm going to spend a lot of money replacing parts and doing it up. However, these parts WILL not be coming from Dennis Kirk ever again.

Customer service department is ridiculous
Customer service department is absolutely rude. I can't believe you can a run a business like this. If you hate your job this bad then quit. Don't make everyone's life miserable in the process when they call into ask a question.

I ordered a new clutch cable for my bike, I will take full blame on ordering the wrong size. I sent the cable back as instructed by Dennis Kirk customer service, and put the new one on the sheet provided. After waiting over a week with no word from DK I called to see about my return. This is where it goes down hill, I was told they are going to charge me for my return plus shipping in order to get my part. They didn’t offer any kind of relief and I won’t be doing any business with this company in the future. If you get anything from them I hope it’s right the first time or you will be out extra money.
