I’m adding photos to Very Poor Quality Yerba Mate – Mostly Dust, Not Worth It” the condition…

I’m adding photos to show the condition of the product before and after I had to deal with it. The packs are wrapped in plastic because I sealed them myself after opening.
I ordered three packs of yerba mate from Delicatino (two Rosamonte and one La Merced). The order arrived without any obvious external damage, but once I opened the Rosamonte packs, the quality issue became clear.
There was an excessive amount of dust and powder inside. I had to sift through the leaves and stems just to make it usable, and around 40% of the 1 kg pack turned out to be fine dust. The difference between the “before” and “after” in the photos shows how much had to be removed.
I’ve been drinking Rosamonte for about five years, and this is by far the worst quality I’ve encountered. Normally, the cut is much more balanced, not dominated by powder like this.
The unusually low price now makes sense, but it raises concerns about the quality and sourcing. It felt like a low-grade batch rather than the standard product I’m used to.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I won’t be ordering from Delicatino again.
