Received excellent service from Daystate customer care, they couldn’t have been more helpful, sent out a replacement part on the same day of calling, can’t ask more than that.

Customer service and relations

Having recently rebuilt two classic daystates. A original firefly .. and a mirage xlr .. I found Lynn an absolute gem to deal with . Not letting us down once .. after we had made prior arrangements to collect direct from their factory . Really helpful with a genuine knowledge and working know how .. I can't praise daystate enough .. Callers are by appointment only. Tho.

Amazing Airrifle and Brilliant Customer Service

I have owned a sub12ft - 2019 Redwolf and it is an "amazing airgun" - insanely reliable with draw dropping accuracy out to 100 yards. I have used it at the range once or twice a week and often daily for vermin control, it has served me very well.

Having moved from 10 to 13 shot magazines I decided to upgrade the firmware so that it would recognise the newer magazines shot count. Being 5 years old and used regularly, despite it working perfectly I also took the decision to have it fully serviced (new seals new battery etc.) I have to say, having read the negative reviews I was hesitant but my fears were unfounded. The customer service was excellent, the service and upgrade completed to my complete satisfaction and in a very timely manner. I could not be happier.

This is a geat airgun backed up by customer service that is without doubt, second to none. So a big thank you to Olivia (Customer Services) and the Daystate team.

Now saving up for another Daystate - (Alpha Wolf) but will still keep the Redwolf.

I work in the trade and Daystate are…

I work in the trade and Daystate are only driven by pure profit and greed. They are so tight when it comes to customer service. They supply airgun parts to shops at retail prices. This increases service costs to the consumer.

The internal parts of the latest models of airguns are extremely cheap often using plastic to replace previous parts that were made out of more substantial materials in older models.

They design valves with anti tamper tools only to make servicing their rifles extremely difficult and offer no support or tools to "daystate approved service centres".

Having visited the Daystate warehouse its just full of boxes of airgun parts that have been manufactured from all over the world, they simply only assemby the airguns in the UK.

There is a reason why they have removed themselves from google reviews.

Daystate makes rifles and then stop making spares for them, I am after a .22 10 shot legacy magazine and enquired about one and was told they have stopped making them. Customer service was below average as I had to wait for 2 weeks to get a reply and then had to re-email them to get an answer, not a very good company when it comes to their customers

Saving my lr90

First of all I am a proud owner of a lr90 which I've owned for close on 30 years without any problems 👍👍 however whilst cleaning my rifle, taking care to bag the brass fittings ready for cleaning, my wife was doing some cleaning of her own and binned what she thought was random things that was no longer needed, getting parts for discontinued 30 year old air rifles is almost impossible, however a few emails to Olivia at daystate and after some searching found me a swan neck cocking bolt one which wasn't new but still in good working order, I purchased this at a bargain price with postage, saving my trusted lr90 from the dark room 😀 😊 so this is one very happily satisfied customer, great products, great people, thank you, Olivia at daystate

Customer Service here is amazing!

Customer Service here is amazing!
A problem with my Delta Wolf and I needed help. Daystate were willing and prepared to provide it. A guy named Dan who is Head Technician for the Delta and Alpha Wolves provided it in spades.
Fast and faultless service with full details of findings and work done were provided. I have shot the rifle today and it is back to or even better than when I bought it.
Incredible? Unbelievable? Amazing? which superlative do I choose? All I know is that Dan's devotion to his product and to exemplary Customer Service make this British company one to be proud of.
Thanks Dan; thanks Daystate. I'm sure there's much more to come from you guys.

Great customer service

I have owned a number of Daystate guns over the last few years. I own 3 currently. Recently i have had some issues with my alpha Wolf. I messaged their service department via face book messenger. I was contacted back by a chap called Dan who I can honestly say has been superb is sorting out my problems. My experience has only strengthened my view of this brand

Had a huntsman and a redwolf spent a lot of money over the years with various items and the guns have been good , Had a problem with a charger first charge almost fried itself and they sent me another this works fine.
Move on almost three years what a difference .
Decided to buy their flagship alpha wolf in .177 sub 12ft with a .22 barrel kit , Prs butt pad with and monopod and bag rider , fill port cap(should come with the gun at the price) all this and first thing was the touch screen popped in when you went to adjust settings, so thinking just an odd blip it happens sent it back .
what a mistake it came back fixed but with the safety lever loose so it had moved back and marked the stock .
Took it to my dealer who were great and contacted daystate and got them to agree to send a new stock , problem solved not in the slightest they sent a stock that the laminate was washed out and looked a dent had been put into it ink poured into this divot and lacquered (cosmetically inferior to the stock they marked ) when i pointed this out that this was a Friday night stock and no good , they then refused to change it my point being it was their fault damaging my stock in the first place .
Not impressed returned all items to my dealer who understood my position and bought a rivals rifle (take note Tony I know American sales count but don’t ridicule your loyal uk customers or you’ll have none left , highly disappointed .

Non existent

I bought a Daystate Huntsman Regal air rifle a couple of years ago. I love it! Accurate and well made. However, it started leaking air so needed to find a local gunshop that was Daystate approved. Found one about 35 miles from where I live. Thought I'd double check with Daystate that the dealer was in fact approved and received an illiterate reply "dealer name have not the Daystate Training course" Decided to ignore this and visited the dealer who showed me their Daystate training certificate. What an outfit Daystate are ! Fantastic guns 1940's customer service

Absolutely no idea how to run a…

Absolutely no idea how to run a business, offer customer support or instill confidence!
Claim to be British but owned by an Italian company!
Makes no parts of its own and puts out tour videos on YouTube of how wonder they are!
Worst experience I have ever had! Only sell through registered dealers, OK I can deal with that but when those dealers are unethical and incompetent to the point of being fraudulent then sorry daystate but that reflects badly on you because it will never be the dealers fault, they will automatically throw you under the bus for crappy service to save their own face!

However, you quoted me directly a month for delivery and failed to meet you own deadline! That's poor
You don't update customers of your inadequacy! That's very poor
You charge top dollar and claim you are a premium British supplier! See the 2 statements above!
6 weeks into the month you quoted for delivery your excuse was you were waiting for 1 part and that would be another 3 weeks. So as there has been no communication or update you clearly feel you are better than your customers and don't owe them any kind of explanation!

So a month for daystate is at least 9 weeks! When they eventually responded to my emails (they only answer the phones for 1hr a day to dealers! Omg) I asked for compensation due to my 1 month delay of a paid in advance order being over 2 months and suddenly my order would be ready in a week!

Clearly Harry Potter now works for daystate magically making missing parts! Oh no wait, he doesn't it was a lie as the week is passed and zero communication or sign of my purchase!

My advice, save your money!
Buy British, does that even exist? The above experience is probably a good indicator of why it probably doesn't!
If you really want a daystate! Buying second hand might be the best option! It won't line the pockets of a fake British company for 1, it will be in stock for 2 and you will get a better deal as it will likely come with a good scope and silencer!

Over promise and under deliver!

Absolutely lethal, started to discharge by itself,I couldn't believe it.Pull the bolt back and it fired!, happened three times in 30 shots, thankfully the gun shop took it back and gave me a full refund.I looked up on the internet and it has happened to other Daystate owners.Daystate ignore emails, letters and don't answer the phone, extremely disappointed with this company, buyer beware.

I have over 30 Daystate air rifles and can happily say that I have never had any issues that Daystate did not rectify with in 28 days. Their rifles are not cheap but worth it. The three year warranty gives you great back up if needed. I can happily say that they are a good company to deal with. Not to long ago they took a choice to have premiere dealers who would carry out repair work and if they could not then the rifle went back to Daystate. A lot of shooters did not like this but at the end of the day if you have a Ford and some thing goes wrong you do not phone Ford but the dealer you bought from.

Appalling customer service / but great when it works

Appalling customer service. My air rifle failed within 30mins of using it (seals failed on the air canister). My dealer struggles to get any feedback of when it will be returned to me, apparently they only have one phone line which wasn’t working. Near on 6 week turn around to fix a £2k product under warranty, they display arrogance and complete apathy to their customers and the dealer network. Avoid this company.

Update: SO I eventually got the gun back and it is fantastic now working. A+ for product F for customer service.
