Faulty product damaged my car

The day after I installed the original Dayco timing set, the timing belt broke, and I was stranded. I towed it to the repair shop, and the mechanic removed the engine cover. He said the timing belt tensioner pulley was faulty and that was the cause of the failure. I demand a refund. I have a $900 loss. It broke on July 15, 2025, a day after I had it installed on July 14, 2025. If there's a chance the new one will break, don't buy a new one; let's wait for it to break. Please contact me regarding this matter. I live in Türkiye. I apologize for any incorrect translations.
