The communication about my delivery was excellent. I appreciate knowing when my rose would arrive. That being said, the delivery guy left my rose sideways in the box. Not David Austin's fault! lol... See more

The transaction and delivery were seamless. The roses shipped very well-packed and in great condition all the way to Maine. It's really exciting that you are offering some of the older varieties again, and also that you offered the 2-quart own-root roses earlier so that I didn't have to wait until September!
I'd like to suggest that you offer Lady Emma Hamilton, Abraham Darby, The Shepherdess, Sister Elizabeth and some of the older reds once again!

I ONLY purchase David Austin roses, and the best resource for ALL the roses is DA Roses USA. The plants have always arrived in excellent condition at the right time of year for my planting zone. Very happy with the product!!!

David Austin roses are the only roses I will purchase. Absolutely love them. Excellent customer service and guidance in proper care.

Every rose in a 10 plus order was afflicted with black spot. Did not happen in short transit--they were packed that way. Complained with photos minutes after delivery and got no response. Long time David Austin customer. Worst rose shipment and customer service ever. Sorry to see a great name go down.

Site is easy to navigate. Love your roses. Have purchased bare root and potted roses. Some of your roses in my garden have been growing for over 20 years!

Always a wonderful experience with them. I do prefer bare root to own root only because of the price point and the own root is small.

David Austin truly touched the world in a beautiful way. His legacy is remembered in every bloom and smile that it brings. The shape and form of an old rose can not be beat.

I will love seeing the Golden Celebration rose grow. I will await for it to flower to see what great scent it has.

The roses were packaged so beautifully, and arrived in great health. They are a beautiful high quality plant, and will make a lovely addition to my front garden.

i've ordered many of David Austin roses. Most of them bear root I received my SILAS. MARNER as a 1 gallon pot. Several of the leaves were yellow or had black spots so I did remove them. It was just a little disappointing. The plant was much smaller than I anticipated. I planted it with amended soil in the ground so I will wait and see how he grows up.

DA roses always survive transport and do really well in the Phoenix, AZ Heat. Morning sun and afternoon shade is perfect! 😍

Ordering and delivery was great - wonderful packaging / boxing for the 2-quart roses - three per box. Customer service is very helpful.

Ordered two roses in 2-quart size containers. Took 4 weeks for them to ship. I tried emailing about my order and it took 2-3 weeks for them to reply to my email. Upon arrival both plants were tiny (under 6" tall) with leaves smaller than dimes and thin, stickly canes. This is absolutely not what I expected to get based on pictures on their website as well as various posts online from other customers! One plant was at least green. The other was yellow covered in black spot and half the size of the other. Wish I could post pictures. Incredibly disappointed considering I paid nearly $100 for these two plants. I tried emailing them weeks ago and I still haven't heard back. This company is a hot mess. I'm hoping for a refund and replacement. Unfortunately now it's getting too hot to plant in my area, so it's pretty irritating that a simple order has been stretched out for 2 1/2 months and I still have no resolve.
UPDATE: The company replied here saying they'd contact me but guess what? Nothing. Still waiting. Its been 3 days since they replied here. I'll give it 2 more days.

This has been a really disappointing experience overall. David Austin is a trusted name, so I didn't think twice about paying a premium price for my Charles Darwin rose. I ordered it on May 5, and it took until the end of May before I received it. I sent an email asking about the delay and did not receive a response. It finally appeared on May 30 and came in really sad shape. The majority of the leaves had black spot. Because it's getting so late in the season, I tried just picking the sick leaves off and planting it anyway. I'm not sure it's going to survive. Now all the lower leaves are yellow and falling off. The roses I have planted on either side of the Charles Darwin (both purchased from J&P) are thriving and beautiful, so it's not the care it's receiving. I sent another email expressing my disappointment, and again, no response. I'm done with this company.

I received 7 bare root roses in April and they are doing fantastic. I received an order of 7
2 quart roses 3 climbers and 4 shrubs May 31. Almost all of them came with brown spots on the leaves and several yellow leaves with dark spots. I trimmed them off and planted them and they seem to be doing okay. It's only been a week and just planted 2 days ago. I do love your roses and have high hopes for their future!
