Falske løfter, brudt skriftlig aftale og svindelagtig adfærd

Jeg skriver aldrig Trustpilot-anmeldelser, men denne oplevelse var så uprofessionel og uærlig, at jeg følte mig nødsaget til at oprette en konto og dele den.

Jeg valgte bevidst at handle hos denne virksomhed, fordi de inden købet udtrykkeligt bekræftede skriftligt, at de ville refundere momsen efter eksport. Dette blev aftalt efter flere e-mails frem og tilbage, herunder at jeg ville forlade EU via Frankrig og ikke via Danmark, da jeg skulle videre dertil.

Jeg købte et kamera hos denne virksomhed for 10.505 DKK efter skat, og samtidig købte jeg et zoomobjektiv hos en konkurrent (Proshop). I begge tilfælde blev betingelserne for momsrefusion gennemgået og bekræftet via e-mail før købet. Jeg sammenlignede også priser mellem forskellige butikker, der tilbød momsrefusion, for at sikre, at jeg tog den bedste beslutning.

Jeg overholdt alle frister og fremsendte alt langt inden fristen for momsrefusion, men virksomheden ignorerede alle henvendelser. De bekræftede ikke engang modtagelsen af den første e-mail og ignorerede også tre opfølgende e-mails, hvilket brød deres eksplicitte skriftlige aftale. Selv hvis de kunne afvise refusionen juridisk, er deres tavshed vildledende, uærlig og ekstremt uprofessionel.

For zoomobjektivet købt hos Proshop blev momsen refunderet uden problemer, så snart de toldstemplede dokumenter var modtaget. Andre butikker solgte kameraet for mere kroner, men med momsrefusionen ville jeg stadig have sparet penge, hvis jeg havde købt hos dem i stedet.

Jeg stolede på virksomhedens eksplicitte skriftlige tilsagn, og som følge heraf medførte den uprofessionelle adfærd frustration og unødvendige problemer.

Min partner bor i Danmark, og vi boykotter nu virksomheden helt, selv hvis de nogle gange sælger billigere end konkurrenterne. Dette var den første og sidste gang, vi handler hos dem.

Hvis en virksomhed markedsfører momsrefusion, accepterer skriftligt alle betingelser før betaling, og derefter ignorerer kunden, bør man være meget forsigtig. På baggrund af min oplevelse kan jeg ikke anbefale at handle her og vil råde til at vælge andre forhandlere i stedet.

I never write Trustpilot reviews, but this experience was so unprofessional and dishonest that I felt compelled to create an account and share it.

I deliberately chose this business because they explicitly confirmed in writing, before the purchase, that they would refund VAT after export. This was agreed after multiple back-and-forth emails, including confirmation that I would leave the EU via France, not Denmark, as I was traveling onward there.

I purchased a camera from this company for 10,505 DKK after tax, and at the same time purchased a zoom lens from a competitor (Proshop). In both cases, the VAT-refund conditions were checked and confirmed by email before purchase. I also compared prices between different shops offering VAT refunds to ensure I was making the best choice.

Here is the timeline:

Purchase: 29 August 2025

Invoice/faktura issued: 1 September 2025

Exported goods via Paris: 22 September 2025

Sent customs-stamped documents to the shop: 27 September 2025

I met all deadlines and submitted everything well within the VAT refund window, yet the company ignored all communications. They did not acknowledge receipt of the first email and also ignored three follow-up emails, breaking their explicitly written agreement. While they could legally refuse a refund, their silence is dishonest, misleading, and extremely unprofessional.

For the zoom lens purchased from Proshop, the VAT was refunded without issue once the customs-stamped documents were submitted. Other shops were selling the camera for more kroner, but with the VAT refund I would still have saved money if I had purchased from them instead.

I relied on the company’s explicitly written assurances, and as a result, the unprofessional behavior caused frustration and unnecessary hassle.

My partner lives in Denmark, and we are now boycotting this company entirely, even if they occasionally sell cheaper than competitors. This was the first and last time we will buy from them.

If a business advertises VAT refunds, agrees in writing to all details before payment, and then ignores the customer once payment is made, buyers should be very cautious. Based on my experience, I do not recommend buying from this company and would advise considering other sellers instead.

In October, we unfortunately experienced a technical outage affecting our email server. As a result, some incoming emails - including your documentation related to VAT refunds - may not have been received or processed correctly. This is entirely our responsibility, and we regret that this was not identified and communicated sooner.

We would like to clarify that if the required customs-stamped export documentation is resubmitted, we will of course proceed with the VAT refund in accordance with what was confirmed in writing prior to the purchase.

No response from customer service

The earbuds I ordered were defect. This is in principle not Dataworlds fault. However after sending them back and contacting them via email I have still not heard back from them in a month.

Never shop here again

I bought a keyboard at the online shop. After I received it and tested it, I found out the keyboard is defective. 4 keys do not work at all. So I sent an email and said I want to return it. The owner replied and said you can send it back. Then I asked should I have to pay for the shipping fee, never got a reply agian. Just ignored my email. In the end, since I have to work during the day, I asked a friend to drive to their shop in Roskilde and returned it. I simply do not understand why would a shop just simply ignore a customer's email.

We receive many emails every day and some times we have extra answering time because of this. I have checked your email and status and i can see that you have returned the item within 48 hours after you send your email. And therefore of course we dont see any need to answer the mail because the case is closed.

Avoid

Slightly cheaper then anywhere else but the return policy is ridiculous :"If there is no fault with your product, there will be a technical fee of DKK 599, which covers fault finding/investigation as well as possible return shipping. If the product is not covered by the right of complaint, there will also be a handling fee of DKK 599, which covers fault finding/investigation as well as possible return shipping" So mind this when you order smth that could be potentially returned. Also return at your own expenses.

The point you are mentioning has nothing to do with our return policy. The point you are mentioning is within the right of complaint and is very normal also with other companies like us. If you send a product back that you want to complain about and we do not find any problems with the product there is a technical fee for this. But as mentioned is has nothing to do with the return policy. Ouw return policy is 14 days in accordance with the Purchase Act

I have purchased an Apple airpods…

I have purchased an Apple airpods generation 3 from them. I received it fast and it is functioning but the warranty is less than 6 months. I called apple customer support and they said it has to be 1 year warranty.
Now I don't know if they have sent me a new Airpods or if it has been repackaged.

We really dont understand this evaluation. You could contact us if you have questions regarding your product og warranty!
This is of course a brand new product, which you should be able to see and you have 2 years right of complaint due to danish law. Apple gives 1 year warranty on all their products but in Denmark you always have 2 years right of complaint.
Next time please contact the dealer instead of just writing an evaluation based on presumptions.
