I really like how I can practice coding right away when learning something new in a datacamp course. It make learning more fun and effective.

I've learned python for data analytics faster, I've used multiple platforms to learn python, however, I still have difficulty implementing the knowledge gained. Datacamp focused on coding rather than typical videos, which made the learning more engaging, additionally, it features a certification for completing courses which may help my carrer.

I love the self-paced nature of the courses and the ability to go back to review content when needed. I also appreciate the opportunities to practice and study, particularly the flashcard feature. Best of all, maybe, is the app and the abilty to practice any time.

It's a very good platform for learning, with practical and up-to-date exercises.

The courses are very pleasant to progress through, as the video sections in a chapter are not too long, 3-4 minutes at most, but very informative, and it's followed by a related hands-on set of exercises that help solidify the knowledge just presented.
The breakdown of the library into skill & career tracks is also very handy, as it helps you target the really interesting or useful courses to follow, and through them, uncover other tracks you may not otherwise have considered enrolling in.

I thoroughly enjoy the definitions and hinting toward the correct answers. It helps me make the neural pathway connections to use the data later.
Guided auto and visual teaching forms, helping us with "learning disabilities", put use to the puzzle pieces for later challenges.

This is well reasoned and well thought out and easy to use.

Unfortunately, they’ve jumped on the same greedy trend as some other providers. It’s becoming standard to charge users a subscription, then demand additional payments—sometimes equal to the full subscription price—for certain courses.
It makes no sense to charge X for access to a library of courses, then ask for the same amount again just to access a single new AI course.
I’m very disappointed. I wouldn’t have an issue with a higher annual fee, but the way they’ve handled this feels like they’re deliberately trying to squeeze more money out of their existing customers.
They also don’t disclose this add-on fee anywhere on their pricing page, which makes it pretty clear they’re not operating in an honest or transparent way.

DataCamp has a broken grader and their support team proved it.
I failed the Data Analyst Associate SQL Practical Exam on the same sub-requirement twice. Same requirement. Both times. I contacted support expecting help. Instead, a support associate told me my code was wrong and sent me a replacement solution. That solution does not even address the requirement their own grader is failing me on. They sent me broken code to fix a broken grader and called it resolved.
When I pointed this out with evidence, suddenly it gets “escalated to the content team.” Now I’m told to wait another 10 business days. This is the second time I’ve been told to wait 2 weeks for a problem DataCamp created. The first time I waited 14 days for a retake window that didn’t even need to apply to me.
I am a paying customer. I have one exam attempt left that I cannot use because their grader is broken. My certification is stalled. My job search is stalled. And DataCamp’s response is to make me wait while they quietly fix something they should have caught before charging people money for this exam.
This is not a learning platform issue. This is an accountability issue.

Powerful and beginner-friendly platform for building practical data and analytics skills. It is particularly useful for professionals who want to learn Python, SQL, data analysis, and machine learning in a structured and hands-on environment.

I find datacamp to be extremely useful in learning Data Science. Its beginner friendly and the concepts are explained beautiful and interestingly. Some of the concepts really dawned on to me though I have taken them for granted. :-)
Will be great if some more handholding for complex real world project and critical thinking.
I love this platform.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the flexibility of the training on DataCamp. The ability to choose between reading material or interacting with the AI to guide the experience makes the learning feel truly personalized. It allows me to tailor the 'experience' to my specific project needs. The only drawback is that the free access period is quite short. I would love a slightly longer trial period to fully demonstrate the platform's ROI to my manager. It’s a tool I’d highly recommend for an annual or monthly subscription, and having more time to showcase its value would make that internal 'pitch' even easier."
