Disorganized, unprofessional, and zero accountability — avoid.

We booked a choreography session for a bachelorette party through Dansestousstyles. At first, communication seemed okay — but it quickly proved to be just for show, as the reality was completely different. The service on the day was a total mess.

The instructor arrived without knowing the purpose of the session. She claimed not to have received the information — even though it had clearly been communicated in advance. As a result, she had no understanding of the event’s theme, and it showed: when we suggested using “One Kiss” by Dua Lipa — one of her most popular songs — she said she didn’t know it. Instead, she tried to build a choreography using cha-cha moves, which was completely off-theme and inappropriate for a bachelorette party. We ended up suggesting most of the steps ourselves just to make the session remotely enjoyable. On top of that, she didn’t have a premium music account and was about to play music from YouTube with ads — we had to use our own Spotify account to avoid interruptions.

To make things worse, the instructor was only 250 meters away from the venue, yet she had not been given my phone number. I tried calling customer service for 20 minutes with no answer. I left two voicemails because I was worried about how the event would unfold, but no one ever returned my calls. This is simply unacceptable customer service.

You want to laugh? The platform tries to hide behind the fact that we gave a different address, claiming it caused all this mess — what a joke. It’s ridiculous.

When we raised these issues with Dansestousstyles afterwards, their response was totally inadequate. They suggested we contact the instructor directly for a partial refund or accept a credit note. But what’s the point of using a platform if we have to chase down the freelancer ourselves? We paid the platform, and they are the ones who selected, briefed, and paid the instructor. Passing the responsibility onto us is unacceptable.

In short, this experience revealed either poor internal communication or complete disorganization and unprofessionalism — from both the instructor and the platform. The customer ends up paying the price.

I don’t think the instructor is necessarily bad, but she was clearly not suited for this type of event, like a bachelorette party. Unfortunately, this greatly spoiled our weekend.

I absolutely do not recommend this company. Save yourself the stress and find a provider who actually takes ownership of the service they sell

Scammers

Took the money & disappeared contact wise.
Avoid dealing with these scammers.

Like Sarah, I also dealt with the 'mythical' Lara.

Scam

I am a UK student, I am unsure if this company actually exists in France or not. However, I spoke ‘Lara’ about booking private lessons. A month later I payed a deposit, I then did deeper research and found that is company is a scam. I requested a refund as their company is not genuine. I’ve spoken with others who have been scammed since realising. I have been harassed by David Issaly, and other staff members. I tried to resolve politely and I have been spammed with messages and phone calls. I’ve been called “stupid” and told “I need medical treatment” by the supposed owner David Issaly. I have proof of everything and hope to take it further legally so this does not happen to anyone else.

They will put off the date they are suppose to talk to you about the teacher and eventually stop communication altogther. Also, their phone hasnt worked for months or at least no one answers. ID GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. THEYRE A BUNCH OF THIEVES AND LIARS.
