Terrible refund procedure

I ordered a ring. Did not like it. Returned it and did not have a refund in the 2 week period they stated. Called customer service and she says “yes, I see we received it, I’ll put in request to refund it.” If I wouldn’t have called, I’d still be waiting to just have the request put in. Just ridiculous! According to them 2-3 business days more to get my refund.

Nope

Nope. Just nope. Don't take the bait, check amazon/ebay for what you want & order thru them not this scam-a-minute, deceitful & predatory company. I ordered a coin 2 mos ago & of course, when I got billed for an on going "collection" I never wanted and contacted them, it was framed as my fault. NOPE. Give me my money back, without the blame game. Prominently display on your website that any (every?) purchase is subject to this inane subscription scam. This company is nasty.

Very poor Customer service

Very poor Customer service. They don't reply to emails. Hold time is always over 10 minutes no matter what time or day you call. Shipping times are deceptive. Not worth the stress and hassle.

Terrible Scammers

I ordered 1 coin from Danbury Mint and have been charged with coins constantly from PCS Stamps. Apparently they're sister companies and made an account with PCS Stamps without my consent. They're trying to charge me for the coins that I never ordered and returned when shipped. Both companies are complete scams. I never write reviews, but this has been 6 months of BS with absolute no resolution. Both companies completely lack morals. Their customer support is also dismal. You have to be on hold for at least 20min and their employees were very rude to me even prior to knowing that I had issues with them.

Expect to be disappointed

When I selected the item I wanted, It clearly displayed that it would be shipped within 3-5 business days. At check out, 3-5 Business days. After I purchased, 3-5 business days. When I looked up my actual order, it was scheduled to be shipped a entire TWO WEEKS later. 10 business days later, it still hasn't been shipped. And don't bother emailing them. They ask for 24- 48 hours response time, but it's been over 5 days since I emailed and have received no response.

If I could rate them a ZERO that is…

If I could rate them a ZERO that is what they deserve. I had bought some jewelry which was ok but then I bought some coins at a discount. They automatically enrolled me in a monthly purchase with the price at least twice the value. They claim they sent me the coin which I never received. I called them and they promised a refund if not happy. I told them I never received the coin and wanted a refund. Three more emails that they just ignored and still NO refund and no coin. Be VERY CAUTIOUS as I was SCAMMED. STAY FAR AWAY. Once they get your money the last thing they care about is good customer service.

They had the nerve to send out a "gift"…

They had the nerve to send out a "gift" from my deceased father to my mother. They told me that he ordered it and emailed me an order card that was computer generated. They told me he ordered this on Dec 12th and he died on Sept 28th.
Cowards won't even accept responsibility for what they did. A "last gift" from a deceased person is just cruel

Don’t show people respectproducts fr

I have received two products from Danbury mint. In which I did not order, I have sent them back. It’s been over a month now and they still haven’t reimburse me for the money they took out of my account. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Every time I talk to him. I get to run around telling me I need to be patient.

They sent out a mailer that suggested my dad should give me his daughter a wife gift 🤢🤮 Do not support this company if they think this is a good business practice or they don't even do enough research to tell the difference between a person's wife and daughter

Birthstone Swirl Personalized Ring

About a year or so ago I purchased the Birthstone Swirl Personalized Ring Item #:6366-0039 and absolutely loved it. I wear it everyday. However, now it's tarnishing and I can't seem to bring back the beautiful silver brilliance. It's like the silver finish is rubbing off. I've always had good luck with Danbury Mint, they've been a great company to work with, but now they're not answering my email regarding this issue. I emailed them pictures of my tarnished ring, but no answer. I know they have a 90 day return policy, but what about when the beautiful piece of jewelry you received doesn't hold up over time? Just a heads up that the finish on your jewelry may begin to rub off. Disappointed to no end!

02/04/2026 Update: Did receive a response that they were going to replace the ring, but as if today's date, have not received. All subsequent emails so far have not been answered. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DANBURY MINT!!!

02/26/2026 Still no further correspondence from company and NO replacement ring as promised. I returned the defective ring and so now I'm out my money and the ring. It seems they are not going to honor their promise to replace the defective ring. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DANBURY MINT!!!

Ordered a couple sale coins

Ordered a couple sale coins, they charged the card, life went on for a couple days ...then I got a notification they tried to charge again. Come to find out I was enrolled in some auto shipment pay crap. The first coins hadn't even shipped. I called customer support and spoke to a woman who tried to tell me they didn't take the money from my account yet..bs ..anyways she wasn't concerned at all with double billing before the order even shipped, just wanted a card to charge. Became rude and cancelled the order when I refused to put a card on file after I already paid. It's a bait and switch. Watch your wallet folks.

Buyers beware!

Checked my bank account and saw that they charged my card for $48 and some change for something. I haven't ordered anything from them in a very long time, i can't even remember when, really. So I called them and the man stated that I made an order on May 20th, 2025 from them for an initial amount (I can't remember how much, it wasn't a lot) and that it was an "open subscription" for two things. I told him to cancel the transaction. I stated i was going to have my bank investigate this and immediately tried his best to get me off the phone and then hung up on me. So I contacted my bank and they checked my past transactions, and I have nothing from May from Danbury at all. Checked all my other purchasing institutions and they also had nothing from Danbury in May at all. I checked my emails, nothing from Danbury. So now I am stuck without that money, waiting to see if they actually canceled the pending transaction on my account. Buyers beware! These guys will hit you for charges on things you have not bought. They are nothing but fraudsters acting as a legitimate entity. If that money does not return to my account, I will be filing a case with the United States department of internal consumer affairs in regards to this matter.
