DO NOT BUY A JOGGER

Got a Dacia Jogger as a company car and in my 30 years of driving (many cars/vehicles of many ages and conditions) I genuinely haven't ever had so many issues as I've had in just 13 months of driving this car. Yes they're low cost (I had not option but to get one at it was through work) so I wasn't expecting luxury but I do expect things to work. The heating system between 16-20C doesn't work it goes from fine to blast furnace in seconds! One of the speakers sometimes sounds like it's full of wasps! I've had so many electronic issues/bugs and in the last few weeks if I drive for more than an hour (I'm a steady driver in cruise control where I can) I now get a Gearbox warning error. It's the hybrid extreme model. I'm not alone, if you look on forums/social media there are countless reports similar to mine.

We bought our first Dacia 4yrs ago…

We bought our first Dacia 4yrs ago after having a Vauxhall Mokka.
The Sandero us a lot of car for the money compared to the way over priced Mokka.
We saved approx £8k.
From start to finish I cannot recommend the staff at Dacia Croydon highly enough whom were professional & courteous throughout.
In 4 yrs other than regular owner services the Sandero was fautless.
We have just swapped our Sandero for a 2025 model & once again Dacia Croydon were Fantstic.
My partner Lisa gives Dacia .......

Disappointing Experience with Dacia…

Disappointing Experience with Dacia Jogger

There should certainly be an option to give zero stars.

I leased a Dacia Jogger in 2022, and it has been nothing but problematic. Just four months after receiving the car, issues began with the clutch and flywheel, which required replacement with a new modified part. Merely six months later, the same problem recurred—this time while I was driving, causing the car to go into limp mode and leaving me stranded with my two young children. The car was sent back to the dealership for repairs.

Approximately four months after its return, the clutch and flywheel failed yet again. We managed to reject the car, only to be provided with a newer model. Despite assurances that our 2023 plate would not have this issue, the same problem arose just four months later. Once again, the car went back to the dealership, was "fixed," and returned to us.

Six months after that, a new problem emerged: the alternator failed. Since this was a different issue, Dacia claimed we couldn’t reject the car and insisted on repairing it instead.

We have since observed a rattling noise upon startup—a telltale sign that the clutch and flywheel are on the verge of failure. We took the car to a different dealership, where it was diagnosed with, unsurprisingly, clutch and flywheel issues yet again.

Throughout this ordeal, Dacia's customer service has been highly unprofessional and unhelpful. After dealing with two cars suffering the same issues repeatedly, one would expect a company to be more attentive to customer concerns. Unfortunately, their focus seems squarely on profit rather than customer satisfaction and safety.

I strongly advise against purchasing a Dacia if you're seeking a safe and reliable vehicle. I hope this review helps others avoid the stress and disappointment we've endured.

New faulty car + over 4 months waiting to get it fixed

If I could give 0 stars I would! I bought a new Dacia Sandero end of Oct 2024, the axle of the car broke down after being only 1 month old. The leasing company and Dacia covered up the defective car by saying that we hit against something, when there were no scratches or external damages on the car. No one ever did a diagnosis of the car but the garage just started with the repair. We were 500 ft from our home, so driving really slow, not faster than 20km/h when the accident happened. Luckily the car didn't break down on the highway otherwise it would have been really dangerous. Important to highlight that when this happened there were no obstacles on the road or anything that could have caused a damage like the one we are still dealing with.
The worst thing is that after 4 months our car is still at the garage. There have been constantly delays as Dacia/Renault could not provide the new parts as out of stock + losing the parts and some parts are still out of stock.
It is unreasonable that after risking our lives with a faulty car, we are also paying for a car we still cannot use. We don't know when we will get our car back, the timings are ridiculous and I have never heard of such a bad service like this before.
