Finally after 4 months my request has been sorted out for the tax free cash. Communication is minimum here, especially as these matters are complicated and something most folk wouldn’t encounter.... See more

Timothy Olasinde spent nearly an hour on my call, answering all of my questions and providing further insight. Excellent service and great depth of knowledge with a practical approach. Highly Recommended.

As Suffolk Lufe I complained every other home call that I had made
It took from the date of the takeover until 18 months ago to feel confident in your people

Veneta Popova dealt with my call and made the experience really easy to understand.

I have had the pleasure of being supported by Aisha Oak over a protracted time due to a difficult tenant. She has been unbelievably helpful throughout and delivered a personal and supportive service.
This transaction would have been a great deal harder to navigate without het.
Thank you Aisha

It took sometime to speak to someone, but Chelsea Ingram was extremely helpful and provided the necessary information that I requested

The company I work for works closely with Curtis Banks. I have only spoken to Harry Pearson a handful of times but he has always gone above and beyond with his service! He made multiple efforts to call through to me to give me updates regarding my query and request and he is always so happy on the telephone. Amazing work Harry, thank you so much :)

Samuel Elvin despite having what sounds like a bad cough was very helpful indeed

Super polite, professional and helpful customer service executive. Harry Pearson went above and beyond to deal with my query. I was thoroughly impressed. He also apologised for the wait time. He was excellent!

Can take a few minutes to get through to the team, but the colleagues are really helpful when you do.

A long wait to speak to someone, although understandable in the current climate, but when I did connect with the team I spoke to Harry Pearson. Extremely helpful and without doubt the best person I have communicated with throughout the whole process of dealing with Curtis Banks. Great team member with knowledge and a genuine willingness to help. Thank you.

I have also been with this company since it took over Suffolk Life. I am about to transfer my significant SIPP completely away from them no matter what it costs in transfer fees. Here's why - 7 weeks in advance of the budget (on 14th October) I requested my tax free lump sum. Despite constant pressure from my IFA and myself, despite several reassurances from them that it had been marked as urgent/emergency and even 2 messages saying it had been sorted, it is now the eve of the budget and they have failed to deliver it. My experienced IFA says he has never come across such diabolical, disorganised and disdainful service from any other financial company. Also that 2 weeks is a typical timescale for this to happen. You are a fool if you invest with them.
Edited to add that it was finally paid out late yesterday (27/11). Also, after this review was first posted, Curtis Banks IMMEDIATELY asked me to send my contact info via Trustpilot so they can 'Investigate'. If only their financial team were anywhere near as on the ball as their media team! Formal complaint to be submitted.
Edited again 21/12 to add that the formal complaint was submitted and they also failed to acknowledge that within the statutory 5 days. So they now also have another complaint about that failure. Transfer request has also gone in and I'll give odds on that process being a similar shambles.
My final edit. Now 18th March 2026 and my funds are finally transferred away from this appalling company. Since my last note, they have managed to screw up one of the 2 monthly income payments they have made to me. They have also now made charges to me of over £800 in error and I am trying to sort this with them. As usual their communications are awful so this will doubtless take some time. I really can't stress strongly enough that this lot are best avoided. Disgusting way to run a financial services company.

I have been with this organisation for over 20 years and when they were Suffolk Life that really were excellent. It feels like they have progressively gone downhill. They manage a SIPP on my behalf and i am attempting to access the benefits and the experience is shockingly bad (or indeed worse) - they are slow, nobody takes accountability, they blame others, if you want to speak to them you will need to take half a day off work, they request data that you have already given them, they have no empathy and certainly no customer centricity...rather bizarrely they asked me to give then this review - almost amusing

Holly Sanderson was particularly helpful in answering some SIPP enquiries.
