Very disappointing handling of a Consumer Rights Act repair

I am extremely disappointed with how Currys has handled my MacBook Pro repair.

Currys’ own records from March/April 2025 stated that the MacBook was eligible under the Consumer Rights Act and had no internal or external physical damage. A further repair was then opened under reference 650051, explicitly recorded as “Consumer Rights Act (07)”.

Despite this documented repair history, I have now been told that I need to obtain a new third-party diagnostic report and go through another process.

I have raised a formal complaint and requested a senior review of Currys’ own records. I simply want the company to properly review the evidence already on its system and provide a clear resolution.

Received notification the product was ready to collect at the store. Arrived to find clear signage to the correct desk and within a few moments was dealt with by an associate. Great service.

Curry’s always have the best Technology and some of the best competition for prices , it’s one of them older store names we all remember that will never grow old , always up to date with equipment, technology services and anything your looking for to buy to improve your home , security , phone , music , Tv , kitchen appliances, broadband or anything tech related. Curry’s just has about everything you need and there is no other place to go to get this variety.

Washing machine a few months old, fault cannot be repaired, took 4 weeks to resolve, with constant phone calls & emails, they finally agree to collect it.
Collected it 17 days ago and still no refund!!!
Currys you clearly don't care about your Customers, excuse after excuse disgusting company!!!!

I purchased a iPhone 18 pro on Monday 14 September 2026 from crown point Leeds what I explained to a member off staff I wanted to collect in store on Friday 18 when it’s available as me and my wife are working as I can collect after 4pm after work before the store closed he agreed and said I will receive a message on my phone when the phone arrives in store ready to be picked up later to realise on the receipt it’s getting delivered to my home address I travelled to the store to explain the situation and received no help from management saying it’s getting delivered and they can’t help and given me a customer service number that tried offering me a £20 voucher for my unacceptable experience for my 45 minutes travelling to the store and back and having to take time off from work that I can’t afford so I can be there for my package as it’s a present that needs to be given on the day
