**Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service – Currys Uddingston**

If I could give this store zero stars, I would\.

I purchased a fridge freezer from Currys Uddingston on the 21st, and it was delivered on the 22nd\. When I returned to the store to discuss getting the appliance fixed, I was met with an extremely unhelpful and, in my opinion, ignorant attitude from the staff\.

I was told that I had to contact their customer service team by phone\. I explained that I had purchased the fridge freezer directly from their Uddingston store and questioned why I should have to deal with an overseas call centre rather than have the issue addressed by the store where I made the purchase\.

The manager then accused me of being racist\. I explained that my complaint was about being forced to contact an overseas call centre when I had bought the appliance locally from Currys Uddingston\. Rather than trying to resolve the problem, the manager told me he would no longer deal with me\.

I also found Fraser, the customer service representative, extremely cheeky and unprofessional in his manner\.

What should have been a straightforward request for help with a newly purchased appliance turned into a thoroughly unpleasant experience\. Customers should be able to expect reasonable assistance, courtesy and respect when they return to a store with a problem, particularly so soon after purchasing an expensive item\.

I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated\. Instead of helping a customer resolve an issue, the staff made the situation worse\. I believe the store manager’s handling of this complaint should be investigated by senior management\.

**I will not be shopping at Currys again\.** Based on this experience, I certainly would not recommend Currys Uddingston to anyone who expects decent customer service when something goes wrong\.

Currys needs to remember that customers deserve to be treated with respect and that good customer service does not end when the sale is completed\.

We visited the curry's store in Birkenshaw. Had hope to see the lovely sales adviser that helped us the last time when we purchased new mobiles. Kristen. But we got Daniel who informed us kirsten still there but in office now. Daniel was also very helpful my partner and I were both having trouble with our mobiles since a system update. Daniel took his time. Explained everything to us and sorted out our problem immediately. We felt bad as there was another customer waiting but Daniel gave us 100 percent of his time... We re 2 pensioners that are not too great with technology. So thank you very much Daniel. For your time your patience and great service. Another 5 stars

They didn’t inform me prior when they reach. They called me after they reach in my home. At that time i was in school to pick up my kids. And they left from home and didn’t deliver the item

We ordered a new washing machine and were kept fully up to date about time of delivery both the day before delivery and on the day itself. The installation team were very swift and efficient and went above and beyond in carrying out the job. They fully tested the appliance and explained the operation before leaving. Both my wife and myself have serious health issues and we much appreciated their efforts. We would recommend Currys to anyone

Friendly, helpful service with no pushy sales

I needed a tumble dryer, fast. Went down to curry's and had one purchased at a reasonable price with a good warranty in no time. The dryer was delivered a couple of days later on a day of my choosing and im back in business. No hassle and great service 👌

my experience was terrible and I feel no one at Curry was listening or caring . Not the service I expect from Currys. I bought a p.c on Wednesday 14/10/26 also bought bundle which would be installed for me. I returned to store (uddingston) to be told wi-fi was not working and they were waiting on an engineer to repair??? so they cannot install bundle etc The "customer Service" sales person was very rude and very unhelpful telling me (rudely) to take pc home and install programs myself?? If I could install myself, I would not have paid for Curry's to do so. Also, funny how all computers in store were working.
It is now Sunday night still no pc and no communication from Currys

Great, easy purchasing experience. Knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant staff member assisted in all aspects of the purchasing process. This meant that choosing the item was simplified and completed swiftly. The item was not delivered but available in store for uplift which suited my requirements perfectly. I would highly recommend Currys and the staff who assisted in this purchase

Sales assisant had excellent customer service. Extremely knowledgeable. A valuable asset to Currys Birkenshaw. Made buying a new washing machine a very easy process. Also saved me money in the long term as made me aware of a Vodafone WiFi contract offer that they offer and has saved me around £780 over the next 2 years. Sales assistant had another member of staff training with him and he too was very helpful and will be a good addition to the team at Currys Birkenshaw.

We had a faulty machine which was condemned by the engineer. We were told we had to disconnect the machine and take it back to the store ourselves in order to get a replacement. The one we chose had to be ordered and we were told we had to pay extra to have it delivered as we weren't allowed to collect it from the store.

Easy to order, good communication. Staff at store for click & collect were lovely. Fast service and very friendly and helpful

Great experience , the salesman John was an absolute masterclass , no question left unanswered , walked out feeling like a great conversation had been had , make that man the CEO

The gentleman that helped was great, he pointed out the best laptop for what we were looking for, he seemed like he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible option. We never asked for his helped, he just seen we were unsure and offered his opinion. Having used the laptop it does work as he recommended. Service was 10/10.

I picked a microwave. Showed the lady which one I wanted. She picked it up from underneath and took it to the till.
I came home and went to work. On coming home my husband had set the microwave up and used it. Only its not the one I picked. Honestly raging. It doesnt match. Really bad error on the staff members part.
