What fantastic knowledge and practical ability your staff have. I was so lucky to be served by Matthew. He quickly understood what I needed from a TV set, and how to alter the stand to fit where it would be located. He spent time patiently explaining what was necessary for it to work.

The person who served me was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, very professional in his approach and courteous at all times, we chatted for quite a while and I managed to get a TV that served all my needs at the right price level for me, well done to him, I have had a few bad experiences in this store with other 'uninterested' servers who just wanted to get on with it and go back to talking to their mates on the shop.!

great early delivery , good communication from the delivery guys- phone call 10 min before, nice blokes , unwrapped checked and put where i wanted- good job delivery drivers and curry’s!

Curry’s have a great many products we were interested in buying a coffee maker
We were interested in buying a bean to cup coffee maker. These are expensive items and need a thorough explanation in how to use
There were many on show
We asked a store member for advice on different models
We were disappointed that no one could help us
The manager did not have a member of staff who had knowledge regarding coffee makers
In stepped Richard who did everything he could to help us select a brand and find the model we were happy to buy
If it wasn’t for Richard we would have walked away from the store
Richard must be commended for his perseverance and positive attitude
being a phone man( he normally advises on phones)he was able to help us select a machine

The manager did inform us that expertise is limited in store and he was expecting this to improve but at present there was not a member of staff who had the knowledge regarding the different brands

The two gentlemen, yes gentleman, who delivered my new washing machine and tumble dryer were fabulous , they arrived on time, removed and plumbed in my new machines with efficiency and the added bonus was both were cheerful and took pride in their work .

Very helpful assistance from Alasdair at Curry’s Tunbridge Wells.

Came into buy printer ink. Required a Vat receipt. Was an unnecessarily long process. Why a VAT breakdown isn't automatic is beyond me. Why do i have to open a business account? I shall order from elsewhere in the future.

I received the below response, to my negative review, on 28 Sept. I replied with the requested information on the same date, I have heard nothing since.

Brilliant delivery. Washing machine in and installed in less than 15 minutes.
I was though waiting for a telephone call with eta, eg waiting for phone to ring - didn’t see the text till afterwards so lucky I was in.

They arrived on time got the job done no mess.

I went to the Currys store, Longfield Road, Tunbridge Wells, on the 26th Sept. to purchase a washing machine. The member of staff was extremely helpful and we purchased a new machine to our full requirements.
First class service.

Assistant didn’t seem to know what to do and had to keep asking others what to do, as paying cash and wanted to order as item not in stock, and we went to 3 different tills as 1 didn’t take cash to buy gift card to pay with, then a third to order and pay with gift card.
Collection was fine on day

Bobbie came and saw to me after I'd had a bad experience with another Curry employee who was just plain rude. I did make a complaint immediately. Thanks to Bobbie I purchased two products.
It's important to have a friendly, helpful and approachable employees who are working in sales

An employee came over unasked offering to help us and saved us £69 by pointing out that the kettle we wanted was on offer if we chose it in black. Also the kettle arrived to collect in under 24 hours when they said it would be 48.

The person who took my call was extremely helpful and order placed with all documentation completed in short time. Delivery made 36 hours after order placed. Excellent service

Very disappointing experience at Currys Tunbridge Wells.

I spent around 25 minutes waiting for someone to help me. When I approached staff for assistance, they seemed to avoid engaging with me, which was extremely frustrating.

Eventually, when I did get help, I found out that none of the sizes, colours or models of the item I was looking at were actually in stock. What made the experience worse was that there was no offer to check stock at another nearby store, suggest an alternative product, or provide any useful solution.

If items are displayed in-store but none are available, customers should at least be offered alternatives or directed to a store that has stock. The lack of customer service, sales assistance and apparent management oversight made the whole experience very disappointing.

Overall, a frustrating and unproductive visit. Poor customer service and a real lack of sales support.
