Very helpful and friendly

I visited the Newport Isle of Wight store with a basic idea of what we wanted to purchase. I liked that I was not ‘pounced on’ when I entered the store and after having a quick look Ben came and asked if we needed help. We thought we needed a laptop but after having a genuine conversation where he listened to our requirements he confirmed a Chromebook would suit better. After explaining the reasons and ensuring we understood I felt reassured we were buying the right device. You also explained the care and protect insurance which we decided to accept. Historically I have felt pressured to buy something I didn’t want, and spend more than I wanted to, and Ben has helped change my perception of this. Thank you Ben!

Shop had a good selection of products. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Product knowledge was good on TV's was very helpful in making my purchase.

Absolutely appalling service at the Newport store, on the Isle of Wight, resulting in a lost sale of considerable value. Told by staff when I asked to view a particular model it was 'over there somewhere, you just need to look,' although I clearly already had been. I also mentioned that I am a blue light worker and was told they 'don't care.' Curry's have also made it impossible to complain/speak to someone, without paying to send a letter. An absolute joke from a company that used to be known for its knowledgeable and helpful staff. No wonder people now buy elsewhere online; I will be doing the same.

When to Curry's as they still do recycling off old oven. assistant 29 Reilly was very helpful, and he made are experience in store very good .we found the oven we wanted.

I was given a time frame within which the items would be delivered - that helps with planning one’s day. I subsequently received a mobile phone call indicating that delivery would be within 10 minutes - which happened, very good. Goods were off loaded, all good. The system works. Thank you.

Lots of washing machines on display, making it easier to make a decision. I appreciated Calen's help with information about the different machines available.

From start to finish the journey through television selection together with Sky package etc was excellent, the young man who steered us through all the info was both knowledgeable and polite, I believe his name is Reilly great service young man.

The employee we had was brilliant. Knew all the specs and details about the item we were purchasing. Answered all questions flawlessly and helped in any way he could. Brilliant customer service.
The only downside was that he kept offering all these extra services which we knew we didn’t need so politely refused, and it was clear the manager at the store was almost having a go at him down the ear piece getting him to push and push the extra services, to the point where the employee got asked to go see the manager half way through sorting all the paperwork and the employee came back clearly looking uncomfortable, like he was going to get into trouble if he didn’t get the sales on the extra service, so started trying to push them on us again at discounted rates. I almost bought them, not because i needed them but just so the manager wouldn’t give the employee such a hard time. He must have been in his early twenties and he did such a great job with us, there was no need for the pushy manager down the earpiece making him uncomfortable. I felt sorry for him if Im honest. If i refuse a service you cant then pull the employee away midway through the purchase to have a go at him for not selling me the extra services i know i don’t need, when he’s already given top customer service in regards to the sale.
Awful behaviour from the manager and i think he should be sacked.

I am so pleased with this transaction , my old fridge freezer broke on Friday morning , I went on to Currys website and was able to order a new one and it was delivered on the Saturday morning . I was very impressed with everything . I paid extra for installation and to have the old one removed and on Saturday morning two men arrived with the new one and took away the old one
