Awful experience

I went into the store this evening to pick up an order. I waited at the collection area to be told by a very abrupt lady that I was to wait at the Repairs tillpoint.
A gentleman came in a few minutes after me to collect something and did the same, waited by the Collection tillpoint. Rather than directing him to the Repairs till, the same lady was overly polite and found someone to serve him straight away.
All this time the lady was standing at the door greeting customers, why couldn’t she serve, or at the very least, be more polite in her demeanour.
At the same time a gentleman was in asking for help. Whilst being served, the member of staff started helping someone else. The customer was very agitated by this and I don’t blame him. He asked the same lady if he could speak to a manager and she was incredibly hostile. As he walked off to find someone else she said ‘he doesn’t have to be so rude.’ He was clearly frustrated and no one seemed to want to help him.
This wasn’t the last of the poor customer service witnessed. A couple had come in as they need some help with a faulty appliance. The member of staff serving them was also abrupt and very short in his answers. He started to call someone but didn’t explain to them what was going on or who he was calling. At one point he even turned to them and said ‘you don’t need to get so angry.’ The customers weren’t angry and just waited calmly.
Whilst all this was going on, the staff members were bickering amongst themselves. It was very awkward and an incredibly uncomfortable situation to be in. Once they had finished bickering, they then started to discuss how rude the customers were in ear shot of other members of staff and customers. It was appalling.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. I went into the store to return an item I had purchased, but was told I could not return it there and had to arrange the return online and take the parcel to the Post Office.

What made the experience worse was the staff member’s attitude. They were rude and unhelpful when explaining the process. I understand that there may be different procedures for certain returns, but customers should still be treated politely and respectfully.

Unfortunately, the way I was treated left a very bad impression.

I had two nice deliveries drivers one…

I had two nice deliveries drivers one male one female they were truly lovely. The next day when I went to use it realised there was an issue with the dishwasher the bottom plate was broken and was catching the door every time I opened it. Tried calling curry’s customer service all my calls were dropped each time and no one wanted to know . So I had a brand new dishwasher I couldn’t use. Luckily I took insurance out on it when it arrived as I had to go through the insurance to get it fixed so that meant I had five days without being able to use my dishwashers insurance was fab D&G but I felt like currys couldn’t careless with there after care no response no call back no help. I will think twice before ever buying again.

My Mum brought a tumble dryer last…

My Mum brought a tumble dryer last October, since day one there have been problems with it. Trying to get to talk to someone in Customer Services is virtually impossible. We visited our local store and arranged for an engineer to visit, they couldn’t find anything wrong. The machine still wasn’t fit for purpose. We visited the store again and asked to speak to the Manager. He didn’t seem very interested in our concerns and was quite rude, at one point he walked off half way through our conversation. Another engineer visited and he did fix the problem. Needless to say this has been a very stressful situation for my Mum and we shall not be using Curry’s in the future.

We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing issues your mum experienced with her tumble dryer and the difficulties you faced with our customer service. This is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
