I recently paid a deposit on a property in Spain €20,000 using my bank which cost me £17,860. If i used Currencies Direct it would've been around £17,400 maybe less. Competitive rates, great customer service and a reliable and easy-to-use website. They are my forex go-to and I've been using them for years now with zero issues. (I previously used Ebury, but their portal was really hard to navigate and in terms of customer service they didn't seem to be interested in anyone who wasn't a professional currency trader.)

Excellent personal service. Prompt replies and great explanations. My only comment is that the process of making a transfer of funds into a bank account can be slower than 24hrs, so planning ahead is required.

My experience with CD was overwhelmingly negative. Long turn around times and sloppy service. In the end I had to request a different broker (something Ive never had to do before). I’ll never use them again
