I am extremely grateful to Currencies Direct, and to Jeremy Warr in particular, for the recent help that they gave to me with a currency transfer to ensure that I attained the best achievable exchange rate. It was the second such transfer that I had made via Jeremy in recent years and the key characteristics of this service were the same: Great efficiency, a simple process, excellent guidance through the steps necessary to make the transfer and exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful explanations. The online aspect of the service is also easy to understand, simple to use and reassuringly secure. I am very grateful for the excellent service that I received from Jeremy; and if I need to make similar transactions in future I would not hesitate to be in touch with him again.

The entire business of transferring the U.K. funds to pay for our French house purchase via the Notaire in Euros could have been particularly stressful. When I asked my bank about Currencies Direct they said that they were a well known and reputable company. Freddie Vyvyan was our account manager at Currencies Direct, and he made sure the transaction was seamless. He was very professional and at no time were we rushed into making any decisions. He was very patient and explained everything related to the exchange rate process very clearly. I highly recommend Freddie and Currencies Direct.

Transferring money internationally is stressful, full stop. I began working with Freddie Vyvyan at Currencies Direct back in August 2025. We were planning a move from the US to Ireland, and Freddie helped me with my 1000 questions. He was very patient and responded to every silly question.

Fast forward to this year; we finally purchased a home, and we had to move a larger sum to Ireland. Next level stress unlocked!

I was grateful for the relationship I built with Freddie, so I sent him a note letting him know I was ready to transfer the funds for the home purchase, and he was a great help to me. He walked me through all the steps and kept an eye on exchange rates for me. He informed me there would be additional security steps this time, which I was grateful for. Everything went perfectly!

Now, Currencies Direct may not be the least expensive option out there, HOWEVER, if security, speed, and trustworthiness are at the top of your list, then I cannot recommend them enough! They are worth it for the peace of mind that you know your money will arrive on time, and you will have an expert, like Freddie, to guide you through the process and keep you calm.

Efficiency and a good phone call to talk me through the process

It was a very straightforward process. Freddie gave clear instructions and was proactive in contacting me as funds went through in tranches. I got through to Freddie quickly when I did call.

I dealt with the same person (Freddie Vyvyan) from first contact until the completion of the transaction. Freddie was helpful, friendly and professional throughout. I have dealt with many fx companies over the years and have not had a better experience.

Excellent service. Help with a larger some of money. Freddie was fantastic..really helpful and knowledgeable but not at all pushy. I was so wary as it was a new process and involved savings but Freddie made it all seem less scary.

My wife and I used Currencies Direct while moving overseas to transfer funds and it was a great experience. Freddie Vyvyan my account manager was super helpful guiding us through the entire process with which we had zero prior experience. Freddie explained everything we needed to know, answered any questions that came up promptly, and was a true professional throughout. Highly recommend him and Currencies Direct.

The fact that after 4 years of inactivated account they still responded immediately, despite the official closure on Saturdays they reopened the account immediately.
Both member of staff were absolute Gems, polite, friendly and very clear about the steps that needed to be taken (just clicking on links sent).
