I moved money from the US to Spain (moved around 600k euros). I actually did my homework and compared exchange rates and Currencies Direct beat my US bank, Wise and Remitly. Must be noted the process with Wise looked very cumbersome, and with Currencies Direct it was super smooth.
For me the process was to send a domestic wire from my US bank. One or two days later I was able to deposit the euros to my Spain bank account.
My dealer was Jonathan Ford. He cares so much for his clients! Very personalized and reassuring service.

Wanted send money from UK to our son and his family in Canada. Used our High St bank previously which was expensive to do but convenient, we no longer have any High St banks. I used google and Martin Lewis to find an alternative. Currencies Direct were highly recommended a number of times. Registering does take a bit of work including providing paperwork as proof, but totally understandable. And you get help and prompts with additional one to one help if needed. Including help with the filling in our sons details. We had regular updates and calls as the money went through the process us to us confirming it had all gone through. A special thanks needs to go to Megan Lee the Account Manager who helped and supported us along the way.

In essence this is a neat and tidy way to transfer funds internationally at decent exchange rates.
Staff - in this case Jeremy - were knowledgeable and keen to help.

I honestly was absolutely reluctant to transfer money from one country to another through a third party. When I was browsing all online services that offer customers different currency rates , I ended up by signing up to currenciesDirect and till that moment I was still hesitant to give my full details and process the whole operation till I spoke with Megan Lee , who was professional enough to lead the conversation very smoothly and made it so easy for me & TBH , I couldn't say NO . She convinced me to confidently start processing the money transfer & it took less than 24 hours to see the money on the other side.

Great customer service, easy and quick! I used a currency transfer service for the first time for transferring EUR from my account in Austria to my GBP account in the UK. My account handler Megan Reeve was super helpful as was the customer support team when i was double checking the banking details. the information given is very accurate and they explain the process very well. i was very worried about fraud risk but was put at ease by the very through explanations.

I have been using Currencies Direct for more than a decade, for both regular monthly transfers and for some very large-volume transactions. Germaine Boselli has been my Personal Account Manager for many years and has always been helpful and responsive. I would not (and do not) hesitate to recommend CD services.

Awful computer system. While validating my account, their system said my email address was not a valid one. I had to get support to solve that. I advised where I wanted the money to go but I was NOT told that the money only goes into a "Wallet" which has to be manually transferred to the designated account. So it sat there for 24 hours, after which I contacted support to ask where my money was and to explain that their system was saying that I needed to validate my account again. While trying to transfer the funds their system froze saying, "Please wait for just a moment" and on my second attempt it said this for over 20 minutes. I just closed the window, I was busy and I thought I would contact support again during working hours. However I got an email out of the blue to say that the money had been transferred.

My dealing with the company was with the sale of my appartment and transfer of proceeds.I found the team to be extremely helpful, they led me through the process and made the transfer for me. During the process they were constantly giving me updates to ensure I was kept up to date with progress. I would certainly recommend the company.
