Cubaoutings was recommended to us by other hotel guests who were clearly very happy with their tours. We contacted Cubaoutings and booked a private Havana tour. Communication before and after tour was top notch. Our tour guide Irina was very approachable and yet professional. She asked very pertinent questions to design a tour around our criteria. We saw a lot of Havana which other tours simply didn’t do. Without over doing the talking Irina demonstrated her vast knowledge of the island. She provided a number of very interesting facts with a thread of humour throughout. Irina's infectious enthusiasm for the history of the island was excellent! She was so open about sharing her experience as a local, which was the purpose of out trip. Our 6 hour trip flew by and ended with a great meal at a great value for money Cuban food restaurant. Tip: take as much as cash as possible. USD is the best currency to bring. American credit cards don't work. We highly recommend this tour.

At the beginning of our tour our guide Michel asked us what type of things we were interested in, offered a few options, and made a custom tour on the spot. We learnt so much about Cuba and its people.
We visited a cigar factory, purchased a few samples at a local store and were able to smoke our own cigars. Loved it!
He took us to a great place for lunch with live music, fish was extremely fresh. Excellent.

We would highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a more personalized experience and requesting him if you can. You will leave feeling like you REALLY got to experience Havana (even if for just a day), but also wanting to come back for multiple days to see it from a different perspective.

So if you are even thinking about booking this trip or any other with this company, do it! Not only are they knowledgable about the island, they are good and decent people.

Booking was easy, and a very responsive tour operator. We were extremely pleased to visit this historic site. It's an important part of Cuban and American history so it's worth a stop. Now it is a very pleasant and beautiful place rich in untouched nature, warm sea and wonderful people. The water at the Bay of Pigs is just magnifique, turquoise and crystal clear. The cenote (Cave of Fish) was beyond surreal and the local beach we visited was incredibly beautiful. Cruising there and back in a classic Chevy was great. We stopped along the way to a roadside place where you can rent flippers, snorkel, and masks. I would recommend not getting flippers, and water shoes are a must, the path to the water's edge is very sharp rock, also the pool ladder has seen better days and the top rung was missing. Swimming with different exotic fish with vibrant colors as the water is brackish was amazing. We had lunch at a roadside family restaurant, which was great, we toured the outdoor kitchen area, which was spotless, very good food and excellent service. Our guide took us to a private house where the owners have set up a little bird sanctuary, and where he feeds the smallest bird in the world, Bee Hummingbird, it was amazing to see these tiny birds feeding, the cost was a donation. We visited the croc farm as well. We enjoyed the trip and especially appreciated the care of Mike and his openness in explaining everything in Cuba. He was a fine leader of the tour, always available and always concerned. All in all the day was long but fantastic and we would recommend it.

The 6h tour was amazing!!!!!! Our Tour Guide Sisi was so kind and helpful and knew All The right places to recomend and show us. It was really interesting!!! We had 2h tour in a wonderful yellow cadillac and 4h walk around The city. Sisi took us to The best places to visit and buy our gifts from Cuba!!
The team behind The whatsapp was tireless, always answer my questions at any time and suggesting places where to dance salsa!!!

Very good. We did a one day tour of Havana with a convertible car. Our guide Katia was amazing, very knowledgeable, personable, and authentic. Payment was made in cash at the end of the trip once back in the hotel. Communication beforehand via email was impeccable. Would highly recommend.

If you are thinking of going to Havana, Cuba do this guided tour. Our expectations were surpassed in everyway. This country is beautiful. Cuba is a remarkable and astonishing country! I loved my time in Cuba so much that I am already yearning to return after just 48 hours home. Put aside what are likely to be misconceptions and go and meet the warm, friendly and energetic Cubans. Cubaoutings is an excellent team. Our guides quickly established what we wanted to see and tailored the trip to suit. We have been very impressed with their knowledge and so appreciative of their ability to guide us through the wonderful treasurers of Cuba, specially our tour guide Irina who is charming, informative, friendly and all in all a delight to spend time with. Very accurate in Timings. We felt safe and comfortable at all times and Irina was very happy to answer any of our questions including sharing very funny annecdotes. It was so nice to hear personal views and stories about the places.

This is one of the best tours my husband and I had the opportunity to take. Our tour guide was literally a book of knowledge. And he was so friendly as well. We enjoyed the drive to Havana from Cuba in an immaculate 1956 Desoto! My husband was suitably impressed. From there we went on a very enjoyable walking tour in old Havana followed by a traditional Cuban lunch. We had lots of opportunities to go off by ourselves, but we were enjoying the company of our guide that instead we visited more historic sites. The day wound down with a stop at the highest bridge in Cuba accompanied by yummy piña coladas! If you are looking to take a tour in Cuba, your first choice should be Cubaoutings!

Our highly customized tour a week ago was simply terrific.
I found Irina during my first visit to Cuba when I did the Havana Overnight Shore Tour through Cubaoutings, since our cruise ship was docked overnight in Havana port. This time I was fortunate to be able to do a Private Tour for the full day with my wife and daughter. The tour feels like you have a friend on the island showing you around to different places of interest and giving you an amazing amount of information about the island. We feel in love with Havana. The sights recount the glory of a past era and the pace of renovation in bringing that back is impressive.
Irina was a great guide, punctual, very informative,full of fun, flexible and able to tailor the tour to your interests on the fly. She is an enjoyable person to talk to and travel with. If you're considering this tour, BOOK IT! I can't imagine a nicer, kinder, more considerate person. Visited everywhere we expected plus many other unexpected stops that made our day so complete. She took us to the special places that a tourist would not be able to go at the first time. Dining recommendations were wonderful. Thank you. Anyone thinking of going on a Havana shore tour this is the one to go on and irina is the perfect guide. Very professed and caring, and passion about the area. We were able to maximize the time and have very productive day. I recommend her work to any cruiser- traveller that wants to have a local experience in Cuba!!!

Brilliant tour, couldn’t have asked for more!
We have just completed a week tour and feel compelled to write to you. Firstly your company operations are excellent - from the first enquiry to the final taking of the tour all communication was clear, on time and followed through. All aspects of our tour were fantastic. We were fortunate to have every arrangement happen without incident. However and most importantly we had the services of Felix - our guide our organizer our helper and our friend. Felix is outstanding and we want to give this feedback to you direct. He is well organized, very approachable, sensitive our needs, has an excellent rapport with the hosts and the locals and made our tour informative, social and fun. He is very proud of Cubaoutings and carries out his duties with perfection and sincerity. He has an excellent knowledge of the history of Cuba and its heritage and really engaged us with the culture. Before the trip I didn't really know what to expect from the casas, but staying in them was a fantastic way to get to know the Cuban people. Everywhere we stayed was charming and the owners were so friendly and hospitable. For me, the highlights included snorkelling in the Caribbean, exploring the beautiful wildlife around Trinidad, and going to a nightclub in a cave! Food was so much better than I was expecting! So much fresh fish, vegetables and fruit, not forgetting the wonderful pork! The feast we had at the Organic Farm in Vinales was one of the best meals I've ever had! We leave Cuba with a greater understanding of its history, an appreciation for its music and dance culture but most of all a respect and admiration for its people who live a suppressed and totally different lifestyle to any we have experienced and still smile, are friendly and helpful and accepting of their lot. We loved the engagement with local people and the freedom to explore each place. Thank you to you and your excellent company for providing us with the opportunity to visit this beautiful country and leave it safely and completely humbled.

Just wanted to thank you for an awesome tour that ticked all the right boxes. I can't speak highly enough of this tour company! We just come back from the beautiful& warm Cuba. During our vacation we were fortunate to book 2 tours with Cubaoutings: Havana, Trinidad & Cienfuegos. We all had the best 2 days out on the road with you! The itinerary was spot on. I really liked the order and pace of each day and felt like you'd really tried to make the most of the time we had. However, what really made our trip was our tour guides, Tony and Felix, they both are a true credit to your company. They were very well prepared, thoughtful, helpful inspired confidence, and really enjoys being with people. You guys can be proud to have such a knowledgable and outgoing tour guides as part of your crew. They worked so hard for the entire time to ensure that everything was organised, comfortable and the easiest it possibly could be for us. They went always out of his way to show us as much as possible, to give the group the best and fullest experience . There was never a dull moment, never a question unanswered. Thank you so much for the amazing trip we had and I will be sure to recommend you to many people in the future!I can't wait to come back and book another tour with you guys, and I really was never the biggest fan of guided tours, but this trip was just a blast.

This is the 1st time my family travelled together in Cuba and we were kinda nervous. We couldn't planned it without the help of Gloria and Felix from Cubaoutings Tours. They are "all-in" for their job. All of our questions or concerns before or during the trip always get timely response either same day or within 24hrs. Gloria even gave me a call the weekend before the trip to go through everything carefully. Muchly appreciate that level of professionalism. Felix was very informative, always telling us the best places to eat, go and see. We especially love the accommodations in private houses that they booked in advance. They were either gorgeous or conveniently located or both. I couldn't have imagined myself planning every little things for such a long trip. All the tiny little stuffs would get in the way of you enjoying your trip and your time with loved ones. Definitely the best tour for the money spent! We are so thankful for Cubaoutings Tours Operator and will defintely recommend you guys to our friends around the world.

We docked in Havana via NCL Sky. We had already booked a Havana tour via email with Gloria from Cubaoutings, who was very responsive. Booking was super easy. She advised to avoid the long line for changing money at the ship terminal, since tour guide would take us to a nearby bank. Our tour guide, Irina was right there on time, across the street, in front of the port in the San Francisco de Asis Square by the Lions Fountain. She was wearing a hot pink tshirt (uniform), which was very easy to recognize. She was holding a sign with our name. Our Havana tour comprised a walking tour around the old Havana, and then a driving tour by Emilio´s beautiful classic car in mint conditions. Irina took us through many areas of Old Havana, the old pharmacy, several squares, churches. We also stopped for the mandatory Mojitos at la Bodeguita del Medio& the must drink Daiquiri at El Floridita Bar. For lunch we tried a tasty cuisine at local paladar. Cuban food is very yummy. We really get to see many areas of this relatively unchanged, yet quite beautiful city. We had the unique opportunity to get to know the fascinating local Cuba culture while discovering the timeless sights and sounds of nostalgic Havana. Mingling with locals and partaking of the cafecito ritual at a local café's near Old square was one of the highlights. We felt so comfortable with these people, they made us feel very welcomed. The hospitality, kindness, and knowledge made our tour so memorable. This tour was an excellent choice to explore Havana without the busload of fellow cruise ship passengers, at a much lower cost and much more personal. Thank you very much for such a great experience.

My husband and I travelled to Havana, Cuba for holidays and contacted Felix from Cubaoutings who promptly responded to my email. He was our tour guide, such an extremely personable and responsable young man. We had an amazing time with him seeing the sights of Havana. This had to be the most fun and smoothest run trip I have ever been on (and I travel a lot). Safety was never a factor and getting around was quite easy. Every detail was seen to by Felix our very knowledgeable guide. These guys are awesome and really know how to make your trip memorable. It's unfortunate that tourism has gone down to this incredible country rich in history. The people there are so welcoming and friendly and so happy to have tourists visit their country. We highly recommend this organization. Everything is taken care of, our car and driver was always ready when we needed it, and we had our expert guide at our side at all times. It was a very interesting, fun and memorable day. Don't hesitate to go to Cuba and contact Cubaoutings if you want to see the sights!

We went to Cuba on a four-day cruise with Carnival Paradise Cruise! We wanted to see Havana! So, we were fortunate to book a Havana tour with CUBAOUTINGS. It is an absolute privilege to write a review for this tour operator and its fantastic team. Irina, who was our tour guide was wonderful, informative, and very pleasant. She speaks perfect English. Because of her we had a trip of a lifetime in magical Cuba! We could not have asked for a better experience and are so happy we chose this company to organize this trip for us. We had the opportunity to discuss our ‘bucket list’ items with Cubaoutings team before our departure. The services was outstanding. We enjoyed our vist tremendously. The driver could not have been more accommodating or professional. I LOVED CUBA!!!!!!!!!! I am a big history nerd and I just loved all the old buildings, the cobblestone squares, the fountains, statues, and of course, the cars. We just visited Cuba by Carnival Cruise and we took a tour of excellence with CUBAOUTINGS. This tour was an amazing experience seamlessly orchestrated and a celebration of life under the expert and passionate guidance of Irina Ferraz. We enjoyed the variation in activities, choice of bars and restaurants, commitment of service providers (local guide, driver of vehicle, representatives, hosts, etc), knowledge, commitment and general demeanor of our tour guide. There is nothing that I didn't enjoy...In our experience the best tour we have been on...Very good value for money...Everything happened on time, as planned and seemingly without any effort at all (although obviously a lot of work went into assuring that) ). Irina is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate, professional, kind, accommodating, gracious - everything one could ever wish for in a guide. It was such a privilege seeing Cuba through her eyes and learning more about how the threads of many places and many cultures were woven together. CUBAOUTINGS nailed every aspect of our trip, immersing us in the folklore and dramatic wild beauty synonymous with the magical land, while also fitting in five star service. Once again we spent two great days touring Havana with Abel and Trinidad with Felix. They were both excellent guides, they kept us totally entertained with thier stories and history of the island. The sights we experienced were breathtaking and amazingly! If you fail to book with Cubaoutings, you will miss the “real” Cuba. We have traveled a lot. We can really say that they were the best guides that we ever had because they had a true passion for their work, they created an adventurous environment for our 7 year-old kids to really engage in the exploration process and we really understood a lot about the history, the people, the environment, the vegetation etc of the area. We learned everything in a very relaxing way and we are sure to remember it. He also had a great sense of humor. This is an experience of a lifetime, and will remain as one of my best-enjoyed "exotic" trips for a long time to come. We will definitely be using Cubaoutings Tours every time we go to Cuba!”
