My boiler had stopped working, I had no hot water and no heating. I called up the landlord they got a company out who then proceeded to book an appointment with ideal. The engineer from Ideal called me before the appointment time to notify me roughly what time he would be on site and when he got to my house he was very friendly, professional and helpful taking time to explain everything including what the issue was how to solve it and what to do in the future. Excellent service from both the people who were on the phone who called me as well as the engineer A+

We have had nothing but problems with our RS7300MP wood stove. Our stove is only 5 years old and so far we have had to replace the ash pan because it wore out twice, Replace the front door due to corrosion, replace the upper blower because it stopped working. Currently we are trying to get a hold of the customer service (tried multiple times by phone and email) because both the upper and lower blower motor has seized up and will not work. When we needed the customer service and parts department, they make you feel like you have done something wrong. We had to put the cleaning solution into the water line per their request and have our water retested. When the results came back, they said we have to do it again because Chloride had read too high and have to add more of the cleaning solution in and retest again. The problem with that is the first test showed Chloride was perfect. They say they will contact you to discuss but then you never hear from them. Thus us trying to contact them again and again. Oh and all of these issues are not under warranty! So if the problems don't happen within the 1st year you are paying all parts out of pocket. The business that we bought it from originally is no longer in business and the closest one is 3 hours away. If we could give this company 0 stars we would...

We bought our Crown Royal 7300E OWB in June 2022. It was one of the best investments we ever made. It can get to 40 below 0 F. here in Maine, so we needed a unit we could depend on and keep our home comfortable.
Our Crown Royal does all that and more. We own a 30 acre wood lot, so fueling it is a matter of cutting wood and stacking it in our wood shed. That said it's still cheaper to heat your home with wood than paying for #2 fuel oil @ $4-5 a gallon, even if you have to buy your wood!
The 7300E is a well designed and manufactured unit.
I'm a steamfitter /nuclear certified weldor with 50 years experience, so I've been around a few boilers. Recently we had occasion(2/22/24) to utilize the customer service at Crown Royal/Green-Tech which was nothing short of stellar! Green-Tech/Crown Royal stands behind their products 100%. Don't waste your time and $$ with a brand that makes promises they can't and won't deliver. Crown Royal/Green Tech is the brand to buy if you want both a quality OWB PLUS dependable, quality customer service. Big thanks to Dre at Green Tech!
