Perry and his team took excellent care of my Audi A6. They kept us informed about the progress of our repairs. Very professional. Now the exciting thing is that I had them re-finish our scratched-up rims. WELL THEY LOOK LIKE NEW, BRAVO TEAM!! You want your vehicle to look like new have them take care of your wheels!! I would give a ZERO

I would give a ZERO if I could. After being hit by a drunk driver, my insurance company sent my truck to Crash Champions for repair. I stopped in a week later to pick up some forgotten items, and they had not even looked at the truck yet.
After four and a half months with Crash Champions, I finally got my truck back. It has new scratches on the body, and the tailgate is not only scratched up but dented in places. The interior of the cab has grease everywhere - on both driver and passenger sides. The cloth seat and console on the driver’s side are covered in grease and oil. I immediately showed the truck to a professional detailer. His response was "Wow! I doubt that grease will ever come out of the seats." The dashboard and both front doors have grease from top to bottom.
Crash Champions is blaming the tow truck driver. That is an outright lie because we saw the truck sitting in the Crash Champions lot a week after it was delivered to them.
I have driven diesel trucks for 20 years having had major engine work done and never had oil or grease spots in the cab. This is atrocious! But, don’t stop there! My truck has an expensive shell with nice windows over the bed. The shell has been removed several times with never a leak. (Yes, Crash Champions removed the shell to perform the body work.) Now, the rain runs right down inside the windows.
To say that I am livid with this company that cannot even acknowledge their errors is an understatement. NEVER, I say NEVER use this company to repair your vehicle.

Should be 0 stars

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Crash Champions in Bolingbrook was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it. From start to finish, the service lacked professionalism, transparency, and basic care for my vehicle or my customer experience. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into unnecessary stress, conflicting stories, and a complete lack of accountability.

Key Issues Experienced: Poor attention to detail: My car was returned with a thick white scratch in the exact area they were supposed to repair something any quality inspection should have caught.

No customer service or curiosity: When my car hesitated to start and the check engine light came on immediately after pickup, the staff’s first reaction was to deny any responsibility rather than investigate or offer assistance.

Improper handling of my vehicle: Dash cam footage showed my car left running for long stretches of time multiple 5-minute clips while sitting outside the building, and the engine didn’t even sound like it was running properly.

Dishonesty throughout the process:
- They claimed they ran diagnostics before and after repairs and that the readings were identical, this was proven false.
They insisted that working on the rear light had no possible connection to the engine light, which is not accurate.

- They also claimed the battery was disconnected during the repair, which contradicted their own earlier statements and dash cam footage showed no such thing.

- When I mistakenly believed the rear hatchback lights weren’t working, staff insisted those lights were already broken when they received the car and said they had “evidence” sent to State Farm. The issue turned out to be my reverse lights, which were functioning meaning their adamant claims were untrue.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Crash Champions in Bolingbrook. The combination of lack of care, lack of honesty, and lack of customer service makes it a shop I would strongly advise others to avoid.

Great service and car looks great!

My son hit a deer and we took our car to Crash Champions in Placerville, CA. They arranged everything with our insurance company including a rental car and getting the damaged car towed to their place. The car was done on time and looks amazing! We have used them before and would not want to use anyone else to fix our cars. A big thank you to Kevin!!!

I rate this low due to the overall lack of customer consideration.…

I rate this low due to the overall experience. The car was drivable and delivered to Crash Champions of Richmond, TX 77406 on 5/28/25. Although the written inspection report indicated a total of 72.8 hours of labor for the job. There was no indication of any parts shortage delays. Even so, the job was not completed until 7/25/25 (2 Mos.). I was given 15 corrected coompletion dates. I still had to take the car back since the electronic warning light systems were indicating brake problems, check enging, air bags, etc, etc. were lite all the time. Also when I got the car back the second time there was a push-dent in the drivers door between the handle and the mirror that was not lpart of the original repair work (wrong side of car). I know it was done after I took it back to
fix the electronics but didn't notice it until after they dropped the car back to my house. Although the repairs to the origional damage was acceptable, I think they had more jobs than they have repair people because their overall service is lacking.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this body shop. My car went in for a front bumper repair and repaint, and the quality of the work was unacceptable. Instead of a smooth finish, the paint job came back with touch-up paint strips — something I’ve never seen on a professional repair.

When I returned the car to address the issue, I was told it would be fixed in a day. Instead, I was left without my car for several days with little communication or updates.

Overall, I’m extremely unsatisfied with both the workmanship and the lack of professionalism in their customer service. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

*****Update (car was initially dropped off 8/5/2027, and it's 8/29/2025 now):

I took my car back to the shop to address the poor repair and paint job, and the experience only got worse. They held on to my car for over a week, promising I’d get it back “the next day” multiple times, but it never happened. Every time I asked for an update, I was given a new excuse.

What makes it even more frustrating is that this was supposed to be a simple repaint of my bumper, but instead they started telling me it required bracket components, which makes absolutely no sense. Their explanations were inconsistent and left me feeling misled.

Overall, the lack of honesty, professionalism, and quality in their work is completely unacceptable. Still waiting for the car to get done. And I wonder what excuse will be next?

Don't waste your time!

I thought I was bringing my 86 F150 truck to Blakes Auto Body as I have had them work on my vehicles a few times and received excellent work and promptness. To find out that Blakes sold and is now Crash Champions of Santa Rosa Ca. location. I thought what the heck give them a try. Tom gave me an estimate then called to get an okay to start the work. I said yes. 2 weeks passed and I called to see when to bring in my truck in. Tom did not remember me telling him to go ahead and start the job. Another 2 weeks pass and again. I called because I have not heard back from Tom. I was told Tom no longer works there and Carl is taking over my repair. I talked with Carl, and he will call me and keep me posted. I did not hear from Carl, so I called a few times to see what is going on. 2 weeks later I was told Carl no longer works there and Jessica is taking over. I spoke to Jessica once and she did not seem to want to help. I called a few days later and she was transferred to another location, and I will be called when a new person was assigned to my repair. Called again a couple of weeks later and spoke to Shakur. He said we will call you so don't keep calling. 3 weeks pass and I call again and spoke with Charles. He said he will call me back in a few days when he had time to get information on my repair. He did not call me back. 1 week later I went to see the manager. He was on vacation, so I spoke with Charles again. Charles said he did not have time to look at my case and could not give me any time frame on when he could give me an update. His mannerism and lack of willingness to answer any of my simple questions was frustrating. I asked that the manager to call me when he is back from vacation. 3 days of the following week have passed, and I have not heard from the manager. If they did not want to repair my truck or don't work on older vehicles, then all they needed to do is tell me and I would have taken it to another repair shop.
Today is July 16, 2025, and it's been 10 weeks since I 1st brought my truck in to be repaired. I am a patient person but 10 weeks with no communication and progress is quite sad for any company. I did take my truck to another repair shop today. The new estimate is lower than Crash Champions. I have already received a call from the new repair shop letting me know that the parts are ordered and will be in soon. I highly recommend not to waste your time bringing your vehicle to Crash Champion for repair as you may be sorry.

Not true to their word . Repair was not matching. Send them e mail and called them , they say will check the pictures and call back. But no response

Not true to their word. Told me they will call me to let me know about the estimate. Never did. When they had estimate and with in a few hours I called my insurance to let them know I will rather take a check, they said they ordered the parts and disassembled the car with calling me and giving me the estimate as they promised

Oh Dear a good and reasonable auto body shop

The estimator Van is pleasant to deal with. She is prompt in giving updates and helpful dealing with our repair. The customer support is also good. I definitely would go to this auto shop for repair.
The repair cost is reasonable.

Worst company I have ever worked for

Worst company I have ever worked for. They have a high turnover because of lack of training, lying to employees and will cheat you out of your pay. They still owe me over $2k and refuse to pay. I was promised that if I stayed I would get my commission that I earned and I even stayed longer than I was supposed to help onboard my replacement. They also keep 5% of the techs pay to pay their shop cleanup and detail person. Just be careful and do your homework before going toe work for them.

“BEWARE” BEWARE” BEWARE”

“BEWARE” BEWARE” BEWARE”
I left my vehicle to be repaired after hitting a deer at 20 mph. Not too much damage or so I thought that’s until Crash Champions got a hold of it. I had to go out of town for business for a few weeks which turned into a good thing because my vehicle wound up being in their shop for an entire month. When I got it back and paid the $500 deductible and another $5000 my insurance took of for the repair bill there were still all kinds of issues with screws and plastic retaining clips missing everywhere they had had to remove anything in order to replace/repair SUPPOSEDLY damaged parts. I even had more scratches and a broken interior seat cover that was not that way when dropped it off. They didn’t even bother to address painting the little scratches/dents left on the hood and passenger door. The headlight they replaced doesn’t match my other one nor did they bother to take out the $100 worth of upgraded lights bulbs on the (what they claimed) to be a broken headlight which actually worked and looked completely fine. The replacement one I received does not adjust properly with the other one and even though I have taken it back twice they still are not level and don’t move sequentially. So at night the new one is still 8 inches lower and doesn’t adjust/sync properly not to mention I had to spend another $100 to replace the bulbs that were thrown away which they admitted not bothering to check for even though I told them to take them out at drop off. I also had a couple parts that had come off that needed to be reinstalled which they failed to do. The new fender was missing clips and bolts and the actual part that is riveted into the truck frame that holds the fender in place at the top. Since they decided not to replace my passenger side inner fender liners’ plastic retaining clips after either removing or breaking them all out to replace the antenna and put the new bumper cover on, this part then came loose while I was driving and my tire caught it tearing it apart. When replacing the antenna they put a 10” deep scratch on my passenger fender which is clearly not there in the pictures taken right before drop off. So needless to say I’m stuck with a mess that’s still going to cost me another few hundred to get fixed properly. Instead of just fixing these minor issues they have decided to deny everything even though I have time/date stamped photos of before/after showing these issues. I wish I could upload the photos on this site so everyone else could see them and judge for themselves “the lack there of attention” that should go into any repair. Neither I nor anyone in my immediate family nor any friends and any other relatives will ever go to Crash Chanpions again!!

Never Again!

When this place was still called 'Service King' they were great... however THIS experience was just an exercise in frustration. I brought my car in for service on Nov 4th, and it was promised back to me on November 13th, with a cost of about $3500. Now I DO understand that estimates are 'estimates', and customers need to be a little flexible, but this was beyond acceptable... My final cost turned out to be around $4100. That's certainly not good, but what was worse is - I didn't get my car back until mid-December. It was understood when I dropped off the car that insurance wasn't covering this, and I'd have no rental. As a result, this delay severely affected my work availability and cost me about $1200-$1400 in lost wages.[I'm an industrial A/V tech and I'm required to have reliable transportation in order to accept a gig. I CAN'T rely on ride share or public transport in this industry]. Again, my job and my need for personal transportation was FULLY disclosed when I delivered the car on Nov. 4th. This also negatively affected my reputation for availability with the companies I work for. My bosses were sympathetic the first time I said "my car is out of service until Nov 13th" but, that same excuse is not accepted when I'm expected back at work starting on Nov 14th. They just don't want to hear the same excuses again. I'm seriously considering legal action...Five days after dropping my car off, the service advisor no longer was working for the company. I don't know if he was fired, or he just bailed out on a shoddy operation, and I'm sure I'll never know. It took the new advisor a long time to even touch my car (I'm guessing he was overwhelmed by more than one new assignment, but that's an optimistic guess on my part - He was VERY difficult to contact, but when I did finally talk to him, he seemed to try harder). The only ray of sunshine was the woman who answered the phone, named Lisa, who I sincerely believe did TRY to move things along for me.

change in staff

We have a Crash Champion in Frisco and have never had a problem with them. They have always gotten everything done in a timely manner and have done great body work each time we had a collision or fender bender. However, we had to take our car to the one in Mckinney last time when my son was in a wreck because the Frisco one didn't do some of the work that was needed on it. At the Mckinney facility, the person who was assigned to us was rude and absolutely incompetent with his job. The manager got involved and was not much better. Absolutely terrible customer service. And when we had a problem with something not getting fully fixed, they acted like the sound was normal! We have been dealing with them since October 2023 and it is now November 2024. But I am writing this review because they got rid of the old management and we even have a new person assigned to us thank God. None of the same staff is there that we worked with directly. Now they are fabulous! We have had a couple of things come up that have been problems with the car that were related to the work done with the previous staff. The new staff are fixing the car under warranty from what the last people didn't do right. They now have excellent customer service and have stayed in communication with us every step of the way. They also don't use the same technicians they used to. What a different experience we are having with the new people there who are trying to turn things around from the last ones. I hope these people last a long time so we won't be hesitant to take our car back there when needed.

Should be a zero rating

Should be a zero rating! Lies and cover ups! A simple front end repair dragged into 6 weeks of endless excuses and delays! Took my engine out to replace the cradle and they damaged my drive train. The general manager Dave refused to take responsibility and lied to my face saying that they did not have to remove any part of my engine to accomplish this! I have a voice message from his shop manager Arcturo stating that they did indeed remove engine components! I submitted this to Dave, guess what! Crickets! Bad business! Do not go there!!!!!

If there was an option for 0 stars that…

If there was an option for 0 stars that would have been selected. I was involved in a collision on 9/19. The original estimate for my repair quoted 15 days. It has now been a total of 36 days this car has been in for repair and every time I call the branch to get an update they tell me it will be ready "tomorrow". I understand we have had two hurricanes in this area, and that slowed down the work. However, I am highly disappointed that I have to call the body shop each day to find out when my car will be completed and each day I am told "tomorrow". So, to recap, EVERY MORNING I have to top off the gas tank on a rental car in anticipation of the car being returned that day. EVERY MORNING I have to tell my boss I will be leaving early from work to pick up my car. EVERY AFTERNOON I have to call the George Road location to be told it will be ready "tomorrow" and EVERY AFTERNOON I have to call Enterprise to extend the rental one more day. This has been going on since 10/18. After a lengthy discussion with the General Manager of the George Road location yesterday morning, I received the very first call I have received (i.e., I didn't have to reach out to them) from Crash Champions in the afternoon and the General Manager assured me the car would be ready today. This morning, they reached out to the car rental place and I found out FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL that my car will now not be ready until Tuesday next week. This is horrible customer service and I would not recommend anyone to use this location - especially if their service advisor is Jossie Rosario. They have an app that can be used to track the service repair, however that app is useless unless it is updated properly. Why does Enterprise Rental know more about my car repair than I do?

I had a great experience with the Ft Worth Location

I had a great experience with the Ft Worth 733 N freeway Location. I was in town from Memphis TN. I had been trying to get that location on Covington Pike to look at my bumper they repaired recently. And everytime I was back at the same point. I called and spoke to Ceasar on Aug 2nd. He asked me bring it into the shop and they repaired it on the spot. Great Customer Service.
