I thought I was about to have transmission troubles due to unusual noises coming from the front end while driving. I dropped the vehicle off on monday before new years day and was told they wouldn't be able to look at it till that thursday. Ended up getting it repaired on tuesday and thankfully it was only a front hub bearing.

I have gone to Cottman’s several times in the past month for different reasons and each time they were very professional and honest with what needed to be done. Prices seemed very competitive with other shops around. Would highly recommend getting your car worked on here

I am a new customer at Cottman Beaverton. The staff was friendly and listened to the odd symptoms my 2007 mazda3 had. They found a failed engine mount, which had been replaced only 10 months before by a different shop. They determined it was not a Mazda factory part, and replaced it with a genuine Mazda part (the original mount lasted 12 years) and the price of the part was less than the failed aftermarket part! Cottman will be getting my auto repair business going forward.
PS I went back to the other shop and got a refund for the failed engine mount.

Seemed great. Cheaper and easier than I had anticipated. Car trouble is solved.

I love having the Cottman crew working on my car. Respectful, knowledgeable, and concerned with doing only the work I want done. They are good at detailing what might else need to be done, but it's up to me, whether I do it now or later. Great value for the services they provide. Thank You!

Friendly service staff and quality service

Trans was completed on time, and on budget. I've had no problems with the repair and the first year service was build into the price.

My experience here is always impeccable. Great service, always fast. I love that they always take time to answer my questions. I only wish they were open Saturdays! Five stars all around.

Went in to replace my clutch. Other places I had called in to I felt were disingenuous about diagnosing the issue. I'd would call explain the problem (knowing it was more than likely the clutch) and other shops would try to get me to come in, and charge me to look at it. While I understand that it is a chore to diagnose a problem, this seems to be pretty apparent. Called Cottman up, told them what was happening, agreed it was probable the clutch and that they'd take a look at it without a charge. Got a quote that was cheaper than everywhere else because they didn't try to up sell me on anything. Got it fixed, ended up being a little cheaper than the quote. Few days later the automatic window feature on my driver's side wasn't working. Called them up, told them the problem and the tech on the phone just told me "Oh Yea, when you disconnect the battery on those cars you have to retrain it. Just do this..." Told me over the phone how to fix it and didn't ask me to come back in or charge me anything. Great place. Will go back when other issues arise in my car.

We brought my wife's car in for a possible automatic transmission problem; turned out to be a brake switch. Cottman replaced the switch promptly. They were friendly and professional; best of all they were honest! Cottman has earned our trust and business; and we'll tell our friends and neighbors!!
