I've been reading other reviews of Cotswold energy in relation to the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump. It looks like our experience is similar to those I have read- excellent service when installing and aftercare. Zoe, Chris and Sam have been more than helpful with our installation and I would recommend anyone looking to install an ASHP to look no further than Cotswold Energy

CEG installed a Mitsubishi air source heat pump to replace our oil-fired burner. We had also intended to install under-floor heating instead of our existing radiator system and were quoted for such. However, when the u-fh engineer visited, it became obvious that the upheaval was not merited so we had the radiators changed instead. Throughout the decision making, Zoe & Sam were helpful & understanding.
The heating engineers, Elliot & Sid, were most pleasant and efficient. The work was completed to a high standard on budget and schedule, despite one or other of them sometimes being called away for emergency jobs elsewhere and their having to contend with heavy snow to reach us.
We were grateful for the loan of oil-filled radiators during the works and are very pleased with the outcome.

CEG installed our ASHP without major hitch. We felt well supported throughout and didn't feel like it was a hard sell. They were sympathetic to our total lack of understanding of the often complex concepts (eg. Delta T) involved in designing the type of heating system, mostly they took the pain out of the process and getting us the information needed to apply for the RHI in a timely fashion.
Their installation team we're very efficient and friendly. Hauling the unit up to its perch on the hillside and then plumbing it all into a tight corner.
In general we're very happy with the system and it's worked without fault.

We went on to get CEG to do a full rewire of the building which was also completed to a high standard and with care and diligence.

Cotswold Energy installed our Air Source Heat Pump, which has been working well since they installed it a month or so ago. Ours was a slightly unusual install as we had a largish (22kW) installation. Cannot recommend highly enough. Extremely friendly and professional company, and each and every person I met was prepared to go the extra mile. Particular mention to Sam, Charlie and Bronwen who were excellent.

The full install took a couple of weeks, and they tried to minimise disruption as much as realistically possible. Very flexible and accommodating. I would very much recommend to anyone looking at getting an ASHP.

Cotswold Energy Installed our Air Source Sump last year connecting it to existing underfloor heating and radiators and replacing our old hot water tank. From start to finish Tom and his staff were professional designing and specifying an installation which has proven to be excellent, providing us with a lovely warm house. The specification has proved to be perfect with the installation carried out professionally on time and budget.
Twelve months on Cotswold Energy have just carried out our annual service to the same high standards.

Cotswold Energy Group installed our system a few years back and with everything happening with energy nowadays, what a great decision we made. We are quietly smiling at everyone with massive monthly bills and now have a great heating system. The whole project by CGG was professional and they delivered a fantastic green solution that with our solar panels and battery we are very happy.

We’ve had such a poor experience with Cotswold Energy I feel obligated to warn others.

We entered into a contract with Cotswold Energy to supply and install an air source heat pump and underfloor heating system at our property. The positive reviews were one of the reasons we decided to employ Cotswold Energy but unfortunately we were severely let down by their capabilities and attitude. There were changes in key staff involved with our project with apparently no handover as we received conflicting information from different colleagues regarding details of our project. Problems were exacerbated by the fact that they employed a subcontractor for an important aspect of the work. We did not receive any written plans of the system or any written specifications for the expected preparatory work. The assigned project manager - who was also one of the company directors - seemed unaware of aspects that we had discussed with other colleagues. He seemed to rely on the guidance of their unreliable subcontractor for direction. The situation led to a disagreement between us and ultimately we had to employ a new company to complete the work. The attitude of the management in dealing with our complaints was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. The company was unwilling to admit any fault and continually tried to shift blame for their mistakes onto us, despite the fact that they had failed to adhere to the renewable energy consumer code and the agreed contract.

Our experience with Cotswold Energy has caused us unnecessary stress and delays and we would strongly advise anyone looking to install a renewable heating system to avoid this company.

I now have a better grasp of the very concept of ASHP. The controller box is easier to follow with the help of facebook videos. With some tweaking the system is functioning perfectly. This is entirely due to the care and diligence of Cotswold Energy Group, and in particular to Zoe. It is a fully committed company and their response to any query has been swift and magnificent. Cotswold Energy Group installed an air source heat pump in my 1930s semi-detached property in February this year. I was very impressed with the operation, it all went smoothly and, all involved were courteous, efficient, and helpful. It was great that I was able to work from home during the whole operation. It was also brilliant that the work completed in good time and did not roll over into the initial proposed following week. It took a little getting used to compared with the old gas system, but it does work very well especially alongside the solar panels I had fitted the year before. If you are considering getting an ASHP fitted I would highly recommend using Cotswold Energy Group.

Our ASHP was installed last year by Cotswold Energy. They were extremely efficient, always available for advice and the installation was very professionally completed. This was despite the problems surrounding our project - we had a rogue and completely incompetent general builder who made life extremely difficult for all concerned, however Arran and his team coped with all the resultant problems in a sympathetic and very helpful manner.
Our ASHP has worked well for the last 12months. I would have no hesitation in recommending CEG to anybody who is thinking of installing a heat pump

Cotswold Energy installed an Air Source Heat Pump for me. It was designed and installed during Covid and there were some delivery issues outside of Cotswold Energy’s control but I was always kept up to date with what was going on. The installation was well managed and the few issues that you always get with this sort of work was sorted out quickly and effectively.

Cotswold Energy were extremely efficient and know what they are doing and very pleasant to work with. I have found their after service good as well. Very reliable and helpful.

CEG fitted a new Air source heat pump to replace one fitted by another company that was undersized.
We are pleased to say that the new one does the job perfectly and Ross who installed it was very efficient and knowledgeable and always available for any follow up questions.
We would recommend using CEG to anyone.

CE did a great job of installing a Mitsubishi Ecodan ASHP for us overcoming some installation challanges in an old property and it has been faultless since.

We had our ASHP installed by CEG in our 1980's detatched house in the summer of 2020. The installation followed a careful assessment by courteous and knowledgeable staff, was completed promptly and with excellent after-sales service. We have found the room heating to be very effective through the two winters since then. I would not hesitate to recommend CEG to others.
