Sadly a bad experience
Sadly, I can’t recommend Cosy Caravans based on both our stay and the customer service afterwards.
When we arrived, the fridge/freezer and microwave had a strong smell that genuinely resembled vomit, making the kitchen unpleasant to use. The entrance carpet was also filthy, and despite the listing advertising Wi-Fi as included, we were told on arrival that it would cost an extra £10 for the weekend.
Rather than complain during what was meant to be our family break, I chose to contact Cosy Caravans privately afterwards. I felt this was the fairest approach, giving them the opportunity to acknowledge the issues before I shared my experience publicly.
Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive. Instead of addressing the concerns I’d raised, I was told it was “funny” that I hadn’t mentioned them while I was there and that there was “nothing” they could do after the holiday. There was no apology, no acknowledgement of the issues, and no indication that the feedback would be taken on board.
For me, good customer service isn’t about never getting complaints, it’s about how those complaints are handled. A simple apology or recognition of our experience would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling that my concerns were dismissed.
I’m sharing this review so that others can make an informed decision before booking. This was our genuine experience, and unfortunately, both the condition of the caravan and the attitude towards customer feedback left us very disappointed.
