Do not use this company!!!

Last update: package finally arrived July 1st...everything was crushed and glass spheres broken. They are not packaged with any bubble wrap or protection at all. In cardboard boxes, thrown in a plastic bag, with tape around it. What a waste of $83.00!!

Update: it's now been 2 and a half months (since April 13). Still no product, no help, refund requests ignored. I receive the same reply, see below, in any email that I send for information. Tracking is "stalled" in the Netherlands since May 18. Fake tracking number, as when you click on the contact info at tracking site, it returns you to the same spot. When you contact them, they just tell you to "wait more days". Ridiculous!!!

I ordered several items for over $80 in April...it is now June! No packages, the tracking is pretty nonexistent! Every email answer that I get says to just "wait a few more days"!! It has supposedly sat in the Netherlands for a month now! One email will say they are having packaging problems, others will say it is in transit...goes back and forth! One actually told me to contact my local post office and have them find it!! Ridiculous!! Do not buy from here! Scam!!!!

I have been waiting since the 29th…

I have been waiting since the 29th April, my package has been sitting in a Chinese airport. I've contacted them and told that it is in transit.

Well it's 12 June, so where is it? Very disappointing, It was a birthday present from my daughter.

SCAM

SCAM! Ordered on March 29. Told order was out of stock. By Apr 17 I was told for the 3 time they needed "a few more days". On April 28th I emailed the service inbox (their phone is just an audio recording to which I got no response) and requested a cancellation. No response unitl they sent me a shipping confirmation on April 30. I responded and told them I requested a cancellation 2 day prior and they told me I couldn't get a refund until the item was received and returned now. The tracking was generated to pacify my as the tracking info showed it just sitting in China for another week. Now (on June 10) the tracking shows it sitting somewhere in CA in a delayed status according to Yun express. I am frustrated that I was not granted a refund when I asked for it, I can't call anyone, and I can't get any information on where exactly it is or when I can expect to get it. They also took measures on their website to appear to be a US company. I wouldn't have ordered otherwise, but I should have looked for a company address as there is none listed that I saw. Still no item and no refund. I reported them to econsumer.gov

A positive experience

Im really surprised at these reviews as my experience was absolutely fine. I ordered 5 solar crackle garden lights on 7th April, they came in 3 separate deliveries, and I accepted that it would take longer due to the covid situation. Although the packaging could be better, all lights were delivered and were fine except one. I emailed them to ask for a replacement as the bulb on the light was so far down the shaft, you couldn’t see it. They sent me a complete replacement which arrived yesterday (within 2 weeks), so my experience has been a positive one.

Update. Still have NOT received my items I ordered. They are using the Covid as an excuse for not shipping. They provide you a fake shipping tracking number. It's been 3 months. They don't plan to ship or refund. Do not order from them!!

Do not buy, rubbish packaging, broken goods on receipt !!!

I bought a set of these lights for nearly £100, when they arrived one of them was smashed to bits, they had no bubble wrap protecting them, and were in flimsy cardboard packaging, absolute disgrace. These lights came from America/ China with nothing to indicate it was a fragile item. I don't know if we can replace the bulbs when they go, they are a very tiny bulb.

Definitely not worth the high price tag

Really disappointed with these lights, I would like a refund for the broken light !!

Scam company

Scam company. Item arrived damaged and was told I had to pay for shipping costs to return, despite their scam website saying ‘quality’ issues are eligible for returns where cost is covered by them. Do not bother.

love it

I am a big fan of moon. I wanted something pretty to look at for when we spend time in our backyard. They are very durable and sturdy I also like the fact that they are solar so no need to plug them in.

Have a nice day.
Yours sincerely,
Coolightbox team"

Why am I listed as bcc: on someone else's email???

I haven't received anything I purchased nor has my mailman told me I had a package waiting. The tracking number they provided just says "in transit"
I wish I had read this before I ordered from them.

I am contacting FaceBook and PayPal and letting them know about this company.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware - Place an order prior to March 30th. When I requested information on my order, I was given two tracking numbers. One had a package coming from the Netherlands and the second package coming from China. The tracking information hasn't had activity for weeks. If it's legit it doesn't seem like a tracking site, as tracking the package is the purpose. Their website states their location as California, so don't understand why my packages are coming from two other countries. When I posted on their Facebook page that I had not received my packages, they blocked me. That is when I decided to come here with my complaint. Wish I would of seen the other negative reviews before placing mine. Allow several weeks for delivery.

Update: Today I received the package from the Netherlands. This package contained 3 of the 5 lights that I ordered. The product was as described and none were damaged. Still waiting on the 2nd package coming from China. Will update if I receive them.

Update: Order place prior to 3/30 and now it's 5/18 - Still haven't received the two lights that supposedly coming from China. Must say that I have never had such a poor experience with regards to customer service. This company has still been unable to provide any credible shipping information. What they have supplied me has shown that my package has not moved since April 25th. Asked for a refund for the two lights that I have not received and they still won't issue a refund. Anyone that is reading this, please save yourself the aggravation don't order from this company.

Update: It's been two months since I placed my order. Never received two lights coming from China. The packing information that customer service sent me has shown the package has not moved in 35 days. Customer service asked me what they could do and I specifically asked for a refund. Matter of fact, I asked three times for a refund. They refused to do so. Words of advice, if you are having issues, keep all correspondence. Don't bother complaining with BBB as this company doesn't seem to be located in the United States. Their Facebook moderators live in another country. Report them with Facebook. Don't appreciate being asked to remove my review, or told that I'm being impatient. TWO MONTHS is ridiculous for anyone to wait for a product, and don't let them make excuses regarding COVID-19. I have family that work in delivery and they are working every day of the week to get packages to customers as quickly as possible.

Update: June 15 and still haven't received the two lights coming from China. It's been 77 days since I placed my order. Now they are trying to get my review removed. Please do not allow that to occur as I have all correspondence. Coolight knows that I haven't yet received my full order. BUYER BEWARE

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE-Do Not Patronize Coolightbox.com

I ordered an item for about $30 on 12/23/2019. I received a confirmation email for the order and a tracking number for the shipment within days. The tracking number indicated it was a shipment originating in China.

After 6 weeks with no delivery, I emailed the listed customer service address. They directed me to follow the tracking number, which indicated the item was "in-transit." They also told me to contact the US Postal Service.

I spoke with the postal clerk at my local USPS office and they advised that no package with that tracking number had been received by the USPS for domestic delivery.

Upon learning this, I re-contacted Coolightbox. I gave them the info I received from the USPS. They again directed me to the tracking number.

Bottom line is that as of today, 59 DAYS LATER, I have received nothing. My complaints and request for a refund have been ignored.

So far, Coolightbox may simply seem like a poorly run company with no regard for customer service. However, I have done some investigating and found the following red flags that indicate this is a fraudulent operation:

-The Redlands, CA address listed on their website DOES NOT EXIST according to both UPS and USPS.
-The phone number they list for customer service is an untraceable VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) number that, when you call it, takes you to a computer-voice greeting and message box.
- When you Google the phone number, it is associated with other websites using the same format and bogus Redlands, CA street address: "Rosemantico.com" and "Last-Era.com" (also known as "RetroStages"). I have no personal experience with these websites, however I have seen multiple online complaints about them and would caution anyone against using them. Why take the risk?

**UPDATE**
Four days after this review was posted on Trustpilot, Coolightbox issued a refund to me.
