where's the product
how long does it take to get the product out for shipping?
ordered a hot/cold bag the first of June it is now the 21st and still nothing.
no word if it's on back order or any response what so ever. how many people does it take to put a bag in a box with a shipping label.

I placed on order online, a week later the status said pending. When I reached out to find out the status, no one got back to me so I had to source the item somewhere else as we were out. A couple of hours after I picked up some of the item locally, my order showed up. A day after that I received the shipping confirmation. This just isn't acceptable.

Found exactly the pan I was looking for at a much better price than Amazon. The box it was packed in was a little too small but luckily it arrived with no damage.

Purchased a steam oven and loved it so much I bought another. 2nd one however I was sent an open box item. I contacted their CS department which was very helpful in remedying the situation. A new item was shipped to me and a return label provided. Happy customer.

Good place for cookware
I have purchased several items from Cook's Direct. Their prices are reasonable and service is good. My only quibble with them is their emails. I am a home cook. I don't need restaurant equipment. I would suggest that they tailor their emails to the specific type of customer.
They have a huge selection of high-quality items at varying price points, as well as decent shipping for the merchandise.
I found this web site to order a black carbon steel fry pan recommended by Cook's Illustrated magazine, and keep coming back because of the wide selection of high-quality items available in both home and pro grades. This is now my go-to site to look for tools/pans I already know about and to find others I find out about using their search function.

The pan is fine but I understood it would be lighter
than cast iron BUT it is too heavy for me. I am 85!!

Brown or beige comma that is the question...
If you ask me if the merchandise is exactly what I wanted then I'm forced to pull from a mixed bag of results. Let's start with what I bought. I shopped all across the web in numerous nooks and crannies to find a slim trash can with a swinging lid in the desired color match of Brown & Brown. What I ordered or rather what I thought I ordered was a brown lid with a beige top along with a slim Brown trash can. What I got was The Brown lid with the beige flap. The trash can was on backorder. No estimated time for delivery just back order. What I ended up getting was a beige trash can to go with my Brown lid. This came approximately a week and a half after the actual lid. Unto itself this really wouldn't have bothered me. When I did get the trash can and it was the wrong color I was in a real Catch-22 position. The beige flapper and the base can matched well enough to our paint scheme that I decided to keep it rather than hassle with another reorder. Additionally the model number of the can did not appear to match the model order number. Somewhere in a great internet search I found that the old model number had been discontinued and a new model took its place. Personally I really didn't care what the model number of the item was I just wanted the one that was brown. I I was very disappointed with the experience. Most of my disappointment Falls under the fact then it took way longer to get this item then it probably should have. I had other sites I thought about ordering this from but Cook's Direct had the best shipping bargain. It's unfortunate that that bargain didn't extend to order accuracy.

I ordered 6 dozen mugs for my church. They came with the stated time frame. There were 2 (of 72) that were cracked. They were replaced immediately after I called Cooks Direct. Very happy with the purchase.
Great Company-Great Recipes, but always want more money.
I love the cooking show. The recipes are great, The people are great. I ordered the cookbook, and that is great. However, I signed up for the on-line version so I could just print out the recipe and it's more trouble than it's worth. Every time I look for a particular recipe, it tells me "sorry, you need to sign up for a better version and pay more money for that".

Article arrived sooner than expected, but has rust on surface and I may be returning it. However, there was no info on return policy in packaging.
