Their support works very well. I’m kind of person that likes to stuff the tons of paperwork and insurance peculiarities, was glad to contact someone who can explain it in simple words:) So, the call center was a lot helpful. Price for car insurance is accessible, below market average. One minus, is later was explained to me, the max covered insurance for small car crushes could be a bit higher.

The main advantage is that insurance is certainly affordable.
I haven't checked the validity of the service yet.
And a call center with fast and kind professional operators.
Just a note that I asked several operators if it was possible to send me a policy, even a paper one, I was sure it was possible, but nothing arrived.
Maybe I misunderstood something...

Our second year of insuring with them since we relocated to Italy. We had to call out their roadside assistance last year and it was really quick, great service.

I had the worst experience ever with this insurance company. A couple of months ago, I had a no-fault accident when my car was hit as it was parked down the street. When the car was hit, one of the wheels was badly damaged, car body was also damaged and the car could not move at all. So, my car was towed away to one of their "approved" repair shops.

So far so good. A few days later, I came to know from form the car repair shop that, unfortunately, ConTe.it did not intend to cover their economic estimation to repair the car (about 8000 euro) because “it was not convenient, it was anti-economic, they say, and the estimated value of the car was too low to sustain such cost". So, they proposed to cover just a bit more than half of the damage (4900 euro) and refund me with a payment. Supreme Italian Court of Cassation (nr. 10686, 20.04.2023) clearly states that the insurance company cannot refuse to pay the cost required to repair the car and to restore its previous status before the accident, regardless the economic effort, unless the car owner receives an improper benefit from it. This was not clearly my case because the value of my car will never be higher than before after the repairing the wheel. And there is no way I can sell the car at a higher price than before the accident.

Furthermore, I cannot describe all the inconvinences I had to withstand because this company refused to repair my car.

What’s more, I checked the proposal for renewing the insurance for 24/25 and, astonishingly, it's twice the price of the last year for absolutely no reason. Of course it's clear I am an unwanted customer but I wonder why so much fuss when I was going to change insurance companies anyway.

I am still considering pursuing legal actions to get a fair payment for the damage that I suffered. I am not sure about other insurance companies but I would never recommend anyone to buy services from this company. If you ever decide to sign a contract with them, pray you won't be hit by other cars unless you have a very "valuable" car for which they are forced to cover the cost of the damage!

UPDATE: As you can clearly see from the answer below, ConTe.it replies with default answers, ignores all the reported argumentations and only cares about their statistics in the web. This is not customer care obviously.

As an American, my Italian wife has always taken care of our car insurance. I decided to do it this year, but found the forms a bit confusing, so I called and found a person who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got the job done in short order though he did not speak English.

Call center informazioni con operatrice gentile, efficiente e competente

The assistance in Milan is ridiculous. We have waited for help for over 30h. When we called again a person on their hotline was rude and had no understanding of the situation. Ridiculous. We will pay someone else for the service that should supposed to be covered. I don't recommend it.
