I have worked with Connex for over 10 years.
They have been more than great to us, always catered for us, quick To solve our querries.

They are also quick to send people out to spend the day with us just to make sure we are satisfied.

The onboarding process was smooth

The onboarding process was smooth, but once we started using their tools, we realized they were far from innovative. The features are outdated, and support responses are slow, making it hard to achieve anything meaningful.

Proceed with Extreme Caution

Proceed with Extreme Caution – Better Yet, Walk Away!

I wish I had taken the time to read reviews about ConnexOne before signing up. Their entire operation feels like smoke and mirrors, luring you in with promises of exceptional service, only to fall drastically short of delivery.

We were hooked into a significant financial commitment for services that turned out to be completely unfit for purpose. Despite being fully aware that their platform wasn’t functioning as promised, they insisted on enforcing a 90-day cancellation period for an auto-renewing contract – something we unfortunately missed. Their response? A demand for an additional £20,000, even though we couldn’t use the service.

While they paint an impressive picture of raising substantial funding, that money would be far better spent actually building the platform they advertise, rather than offering fake fixes and providing questionable customer service.

Save yourself the frustration and financial loss. Walk away before you get drawn into their promises that don’t hold up under scrutiny.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY BEFORE READING THIS

In brief, £14,560, 300 hours, nothing to shown for it and they are saying I must pay them for another 10 months (£10,400).

When they say that you won’t pay anything until you go live, that really means that you start paying as soon as the platform is available for you to start working on the forms yourself, which if you want anything other than a very basic form and you are capable of doing it then it will still take 100 hours plus of your time. So you will be paying for the platform before you can actually go live.
They made us start paying when they knew we didn’t have a need for it for a few months.

When they tell you that you just have to sign a 12 month contract and then you can terminate with 90 days notice, they said that they only tie us in to the first 12 months because that covers their development costs. But what it’s actually means is that it’s a rolling 12 month contract, if you want to terminate you MUST do it 9 months into that 12 months and if you are a day late your into them for another 12 months of payments.

You will also need a static ip address and use (and pay for) a vpn when using Connex which makes it difficult to use your computer for other tasks.

My experience with Connex

I have paid them so far £14,560.00
I have spent around 300 hours of my time and my staffs time trying to make it work.
We have never taken or made a phone call from it other than the hundreds trying to test it.
We used the live chat for a few days and went back to our old one because it was awful.

Make sure that connex one definitely suits your needs, it doesn’t matter how much they tell you it will, DO NOT sign anything until you are 100% sure it is right for you and they have proved everything works and you have seen it work.

I hope this helps you to not fall into the same trap that we did.

Top company

I am very familiar with the world of CCaaS (SaaS Telco), and I can confidently say that Connex One's product and service are 10/10. This is due to the call quality, integration, workflows, 24/7 support, client team training, and their custom adaptation to each business model. It is a company that also provides support worldwide as it is a multinational. Highly recommended.

8 Years Loyal Customer

Having used Connex One for around 8 years now, the benefits are countless and ever-improving. Having worked with many dialler companies over the last 20 years, I have been impressed with how Connex has evolved from a basic inbound and outbound channel to an omni-channel platform, which now allows me to integrate all platforms into one centralised platform, allowing my agents to cross-blend across different campaigns. We look forward to the new features in the future to see what we can utilise in our business!

Connex CXM is an excellent piece of kit

Having used Connex for many years, both with my past employer and my current one, I've transitioned from their CCS software, which had limited omni integrations, to CXM. CXM offers comprehensive features out of the box, from easy integrations with their Marketplace to AI for marking calls. Webforms capture important information and save it in a database for later data enrichment, and staff can be rewarded through their gamification modules.

It is a one-platform solution that keeps getting better with time. For a Dialler Manager like myself, the freedom in building dialling strategies and monitoring their performance is paramount, and this is made super easy with the dashboard builder. The workflows within the system are what make this special.

The ability to move data from one place to another without the need for external APIs or SQL makes the job 10 times faster, allowing more time to concentrate on delivering those DMCs. Connex CXM is an excellent piece of kit, definitely the best in the market for me.

Overall really impressed with Connex

Overall really impressed with Connex, not only with the actual software but their drive to develop new innovations like their AI. Also the communication with them, whether it be the support department or our Account manager as all are very helpful.
Having worked on various dialler systems for many years and know first hand the frustration un-reliable systems cause, I found the Connex’s (CCS) system to be reliable compared to the others. Having moved on to their CXM system which has all the amenities that that we require and then some has ensured we have the right technology as the business grows / diversifies. As mentioned, really impressed and have no hesitation recommending them.

We have always had great support from the guys and the dialler has never let us down, we now use all the newer elements of the system from athena AI to email flows. Highley reccomended.

Absolutely awful product from a rogue provider

We had nothing but problems with this bug-ridden software that is so outdated that our staff refused to use it after a few months of headaches.
The worst part was that the management at ConnexOne would deny and lie to us and would not let us exit our contract.
When we terminated, they helped themselves to extra months of billing and taking our funds. No values, shameful behaviour by their Mgmt
They were the worst supplier decision I have made in 20 years of starting 3 successful tech companies.
Now we're with FreshDesk and it works seamlessly and the UX is 5-10 years ahead of ConnexOne.

OK platform but be wary of support and service

Their platforms seem ok but every interaction with account management staff, support etc is really disappointing.
We have been disappointed on many occasions when they have had carrier issues, impacting our ability to make and take calls (3 or 4 instances over the past few months).
Also we have asked for things from support and not gotten anywhere near the answers we need.
One thing we asked for up front were a few bespoke reports, which we gave full details for. We were told that they would take two weeks to deliver, only to find out weeks later that they hadn't even started them and that they will actually be chargeable. Why not just say at the start that a cost would be involved and that Dev are busy?
We had to opt for a replica database to get some info for ourselves (as their API doesn't provide all the info we hoped it would) and we were told we should write the reports ourselves, which are we likely to try to do now.
Be wary here. Sales contact was great and have found ourselves going back to him as we can never get hold of our account manager.
Very disappointing and the main issues here appear to be poor account management and terrible internal communication between teams.
