The site is full of fake and outdated profiles. When you remove your profile from there later on they put it back up to make it look like they have plenty of members. There is no screening and matching. I left it couple of months ago because I found the site that really works: J4Meet.com
I met the girl of my dreams and now we are together. It was the happiest moment in my life when I met her face to face! I'm so happy that I'm done with wasting time on Connectingsingles! I wish everyone good luck and don't become victims of con companies!

Absolutely False and Frustrating Dating App
Their only interests are to keep you giving your money to them ...make it as difficult as they can to delete your profile and cancel your subscription...
Fake profiles and scammers ...
People that are not active anymore whose profiles are still there
Fake messages....Do not use this app as it will only frustrate you and that's not what a lonely sensitive souls needs .

There is still too little control when it comes to dating sites. All those people that have fallen victim to this fraudulent business should have known better. Always do research before signing up. Anyway, deleting your account on this site doesn’t go smoothly. They send you a confirmation email, but it only takes you back to your profile. Any ideas how to contact them?

took a free site with 100's of profiles and destroyed it. These for profit dating sites should really be illegal

This really went DOWNHILL. It turned into another paid subscription site.

One of the very worst, websites of this type of service I have ever encountered. The business is model, is snatch and hold. I have seen some very poor actors, playing with customers, but these are near the bottom of the pile. I feel sorry for the honest customers they have taken advantage of. Furthermore, I have been marketing dating websites since the 90s. Fact is....one worse than the next.

Connecting Singles interrupted the service for Continental Europe, Asia and Latin America.
In the English speaking countries still serviced, members have lost their international contacts and are charged with a hefty monthly price tag.
Gone forever are forums, blogs, music and film sections: all social interaction has been banned.
Disconnecting singles would be a more suitable name for it.

The majority of profiles are not people looking for relationship. They are crooks looking to extract some cash from the gullible. Someone mentioned J7Love.com
here on Trustpilot. I need to thank them for this recommendation. I followed it and it seems to have worked for me too. I think ConnectingSingles must be on watchdog. They don’t even try to prevent scam. They don’t ban scammers, they ignore all the complaints. To cut it short, they just sell you false hope.

This site is quite incredible. First, and most oddly, they appear to be using a map of Ireland from before... 1923. Why do I say this? Well, there are places named Maryborough and Philipstown in users' locations that haven't existed since 1923, the year they were changed back to Port Laoise and Daingean respectively. Second, everybody in Ireland seems to be from one of about 15 places on the island - large swathes of people are from, apparently, "Mountjoy". In the real world, it's a small square and a street in Dublin. Third, and most incredibly, the owner appears to have purchased online profiles from 10 or 20 years ago and put them on this website in 2024. So, we have a person writing "I'm 23" but their age is recorded as... 37. I'd say many people would be shocked to find their old dating profiles here 20 years later! Even the quality of the photos are embarrassingly dated. Fourth, they cannot even do basic programming to ensure full photos appear. Heads are missing, eyes are missing.... Fifth, the people who work for this company seem to have one job, namely to run fake accounts and give the impression it has real customers. I have yet to have a single sustained conversation or a single phonecall with anybody. They disappear after the silly likes from their fake profiles. It's a scam website, which is a total waste of your time.

I have been on this site for 15 years, until I got married.. then checked in for the poetry corner.at which I had several poems, which the site said were copyrited by the owners of our poetry.. I have since been trying to no avail to log in as I have over 100 poems, many of which were personal. I had intended to write a book of them, to give to my children! I have written the site to no avail... I wrote as quietstormf which was my user name on there..The site used to be very friendly, however I cannot even log in too see if it has changed,,I had several friends on there, but lost my email site i had them on. so, if anyone can tell me how they log on these days, I would greatly appreciate it.I am now a widow and alot of my poems are very precious to me.. . hard to rate a site, I can no longer log into,I guess I will try a new profile? Ugh!

ok HAHAHAH have ye not worked it out yet , there are a lot of fake people writing you back , as in employes from connecting singles .i think there is about possibly 8% or 10% real people . Basiclly its a SCAM and designed for you to pay for membership , just like say subscribing to a movie provider , apart from the movie provider provides tv shows and movies and the dating sites provide bots and fake profiles to talk back with you

June 1, 2024 I was kicked out, my entry was rejected by ConnectingSingles after being a member there for 9 years. Apparently the location of Indonesia is not on the list of CS participating countries, and my browser was directed to a hookup website which looked like a sex chat site. I didn't pay the new membership fee requested by CS because I thought it was just their market strategy. It's very sad feel unappreciated and disappointing because at the end it was very bad, rude and savage. CS is no longer a friendly, non-racist international dating site, now it has turned into a da
scammer dating site which is actually they are the real gold digger for its members. And only valid for the westerns.I lost someone i just met there without the opportunity to exchange numbers, I miss my music collection which is nearly 700 tunes #Whitelily1

I tried to revisit the site after a little break and had password problems which I had to raise a complaint to try to resolve. It first told me that my address had been blacklisted but when I queried this they agreed that it was in error. I still couldn't log on so made up a new profile, it was only then I became aware that it is now a paid site.This seems to lack both administrative efficiency and customer courtesy.

CS used to be a great, legitimate site. Recently, the site became a paid site and it is the worst site I've ever been on.....bar none. The site is full of fake profiles, which is blatantly obvious because, each time I clicked on a profile, I'd go on to the next and then suddenly, after each one, I'd get a message from that person, always along the lines of "Not so fast, mister. You don't just look at my pictures and walk away....." blah, blah, blah. If I had a profile picture, I could kind of understand that (I'm pretty good-looking, if I don't mind saying so myself) but women begging me to come back and talk to them when I have no profile information, much less a photo? I don't think so. It's all a scam to get you to pay so that you can chat to the women that don't actually exist, or who are paid a commission on the site. If you're looking for a decent dating site, give this one a wide berth. I will say one thing: if you're a guy and you live in Sydney, you have to get down to Sydney Markets, as most of the Sydney women on the site seem to be from that one location. I'm thinking about moving there myself. Can't go wrong.
