Proceed with caution

Truly a terrible experience working with Condor after my luggage was misplaced at the start of my journey. Their team continues to push me around, making it my responsibility to track down the luggage myself across 3 airports and 2 organisations. Ok flight, but horrific experience once something goes wrong.

Good Lufthansa competitor

I flew round-trip from Frankfurt to Boston with Condor and was pleasantly surprised. The plane itself had a very stylish atmosphere—the cabin lights weren’t just plain bright, but created an ambient, almost cocktail-bar vibe. The black seats looked sleek, and everything felt well-kept.

The crew were fantastic: friendly, well-dressed, and with a good sense of humor. Even the pilots threw in a few jokes (though only in German). It made the flight feel personal and warm.

Food was tasty and offered both German classics and more international options. Entertainment was okay: great movies for fantasy fans (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter), but the TV series selection was very limited—mostly old German fairy-tale cartoons that felt dated. Still, the main films made the time pass.

One thing to note: the base price looks cheaper than Lufthansa, but once you add luggage fees and insurance, it comes closer to the same range. Not a dealbreaker, but worth keeping in mind.

Small bonus: I liked that you could use your own headphones instead of automatically being handed plastic ones. It’s more sustainable and makes you think twice about unnecessary waste.

Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable flight—stylish plane, kind crew, tasty food. I’d definitely consider flying Condor again.

They will double charge you for bags!!

They charged me for my bag even though it met the required size and weight limit! The gate agent was INSANELY rude and basically laughed as she charged me for my appropriately sized bag. Will never, EVER fly them again

Worst trip I've ever made in my life

Worst trip I've ever made in my life. You travel with your knees in your mouth because of how sparsely spaced the seats are. Uncomfortable and ugly. Plus they broke my suitcase but after making me fill out an online form they disappeared. Thieves and crooks is an understatement.

Absolutely terrible service from Condor…

Absolutely terrible service from Condor Airlines. My credit card was declined online, but my bank didn’t see any attempt to charge for the ticket. When I called customer service late at night, I was hung up on. The counter member later claimed she didn’t mean to sound rude, but that didn’t change my experience. Very disappointing!

Complete lack of support and transparency – very disappointing experience with Condor

We’ve been trying for days to obtain a simple written confirmation from Condor that the Mexican departure tax was included in our ticket, in order to avoid being charged a second time when we temporarily leave Mexico for a short trip to Belize.

The experience with Condor’s customer support has been extremely frustrating:
• The call center advised us to send an email, but astonishingly, they didn’t know the correct email address.
• After 65 minutes waiting on WhatsApp support, we were finally given an email contact.
• We sent our request, and via email, we only received the total amount of taxes and commercial fees already listed on our e-ticket – which we could easily see ourselves.
• At no point did they explicitly confirm in writing that the Mexican departure tax had been paid, nor did they specify the exact amount of that tax.

This is not only a sign of poor professionalism, but also a clear failure to provide transparency regarding fees included in an international airfare – something we, as passengers, are fully entitled to.

The assistance was virtually nonexistent, responses were evasive, and there was no effort to actually resolve our very straightforward request.

We will not be flying with Condor again, and we strongly discourage others from doing so if they expect seriousness, clarity, and customer respect.

WORST flight service experience ever

WORST flight service experience ever

Flight out of Chania, Crete.

We tried to check-in online the day before and on the day of our flight, but the system/website did not work.

We were informed to check-in at the airport with no information of additional cost.

At the airport were charged a 125 € fee to check-in.

The employee was unfriendly and uncomprehending. Her job was to charge extra fees. She was not able to explain why we had to pay an extra fee. Serveral families were in the same situation.
The only option was to pay to get on the flight!

We have tried contacting Condor, but they don’t ansvar our request!

So choose another flight company!

I’ve bought 2 wifi packages for the flight for 20€ each
During almost all the flight WI FI didn’t function. I think it would be fair to refund me the paid amount, because I didn’t receive the service

Delayed flight and two lost suitcases – very disappointing

Our flight with Condor from Palma to Zurich (DE1163 on July 24, 2025) was delayed by over an hour – with no explanation or proper information. But the worst part: both my suitcase and my husband's were lost and are currently still missing.

We were not the only ones affected – at least 10 other passengers also didn’t receive their luggage.

Until now, there has been no clear update on when or if we will get our suitcases back. After a delayed flight, this situation is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expected better organization and reliability from the airline.

Everything wrong with Condor

1) Website was not working (for several hours) for check-in, printing: "No flight routes found"!
I rushed to the airport (HER) and paid 25EUR to a rude employee to check-in and get the ticket.

2) The phone listed in the contact page was not working, making this noise you used to get when you were calling a FAX number...

3) The on-boarding is insane, split to SIX (6) groups, so a group of 40 people could wait even if there is NOONE in front of you, because 1 person of the previous group hasn't been there yet!

Condor destroyed our stroller and doesn’t care

We flew Condor on July 3rd from Palma de Mallorca to Frankfurt. We checked in our baby stroller and got it back completely destroyed – the folding mechanism was broken beyond repair, making the stroller 100% unusable.

We immediately filed a PIR, followed all instructions, and contacted the company Condor directed us to. Since then – total silence. No replies, no updates, nothing. Our emails and documents are being blatantly ignored.

Because a stroller is an essential item, we had no choice but to send it for repair through the retailer. The “repair” ended up being a complete replacement – only the fabric from the original stroller could be salvaged.

We have provided Condor with all required documentation, photos, and receipts. Weeks have passed, and there is still zero accountability. This is beyond unprofessional – it’s a complete disregard for their customers.

If Condor continues to ignore us, we will escalate this legally. Never again Condor.

Business Class and received Spirit level support

Bought Business Class tickets through to Athens. Their flight was delayed, no big deal. Airline, business class seats and food were very good. Why two stars, horrible service on a connecting flight. They booked us through on Sky Express, charged us business prices, had to leave terminal and security at Frankfurt to get our next boarding passes. They make it impossible to reach support, absolutely the worst experience with a connection ever.

Fraud: Sold service, not honored.

We purchased two checked bags for our return flight. At the check in desk, agents struggled to locate our bag reservation. They said they could "see" the second bag, but also weren't allowed to check us in with it. After over an hour, we were charged a second time for a bag we had already purchased. When I reached out to condor to explain and ask to be reimbursed for the excess fee I was told I had "paid for three bags and flown with three bags," which is categorically untrue. I flew with two bags and was charged twice for one. Selling a service and not honoring it is fraud, and I intend to pursue legal action, as this seems to be part of their business model.

DO NOT fly this airline

DO NOT fly this airline! The WORST customer service.
They are only interested in extorting you for money.
I checked a bag in for my flight at a ridiculous rate. Then went on to my gate with my backpack, which was approved by the ticket agent and in compliance with the ticket type I purchased.
As I attempted to board the plane, a very rude gate agent stopped me, said my backpack was not compliant for under my seat - even though this was my 4th flight that week where the same bag met all the same requirements and fit under my seat - she forced me to pay 75 euros for the backpack and then took it from me!
Had it not been compliant, the original ticket agent should have informed me and I could have put it in my checked luggage and saved the 75 euros, which is an insane amount to charge someone boarding. I had no recourse to get on that flight, other than to spend the money or throw everything away.
I have spent weeks since following all the customer service protocols, only to be sold, sorry can’t do anything.
Absolutely appalled!

They knew that our lufthansa plane…

They knew that our lufthansa plane delayed and closed doors in front of us telling we are 2minutes late. They called pilot and this assshole refused to open the doors and left to flight which is 12h long.
These 2 minutes destroyed entire holidays for us. I will never fly condor or lufthansa in my life. I hope this pilot will be hit by his karma.
I not recomend to fly condor even how cheap they look.

Legal Complaint – DE4339 – Flight Abandonment, Passenger Endangerment, Visa Violation Risk

I am filing a formal complaint against Condor and Fly Air41 regarding Flight DE4339 (Frankfurt to Yerevan) on 04 June 2025.

After taking off from Frankfurt, the aircraft hovered for over 3 hours before landing back due to a declared technical failure that made it impossible to soar. No proper explanation was given. We were then promised hotel accommodation and directed to the Z terminal, only to find no working transport, no support staff, and no hotel access.

I was left stranded in Frankfurt Airport, without food, shelter, or guidance — after midnight, in an abandoned terminal. I am an Iranian citizen and my visa expired that same day, leaving me at risk of being treated as an illegal overstayer despite not being allowed to leave.

This is not just a service failure — it is a violation of EU Regulation 261/2004, a failure to provide minimum care, and a blatant disregard for the legal vulnerability of a non-EU citizen.

I demand:
• Full EU261 compensation (€400)
• Immediate written acknowledgment of force majeure for immigration purposes
• Full reimbursement for any meals, transport, and shelter I had to cover myself
• A public apology for the negligence and abandonment Condor caused

I will pursue this via Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, Armenian aviation authorities, EU institutions, and public media until your company is held accountable.
I have evidence, documents, timestamps, and location tracking to back every claim I make.

Condor is clearly LOW BUDGET FLIGHT

Condor is clearly cutting budget at the cost of passengers. Service on board below appropriate level, chairs no “luxury” at all, resulting in pain in bud after 3 hrs. Luggage rules differed on departure Germany and departure Crete(€15,-) which feels like a new milkcow used to crank up the budget at the cost of tourists, that by the way pay more for tickets than before, are confronted with minor services and even punished for the wet towel of 1 kg (exceeding the 20 kg limit?

Company is definitely not interested in providing some comfort but only quick €€€€€€€

Never again!!

Only problems with them. The baggage arrived three days late, one of the flights was delayed by three hours, and their customer service is simply ridiculous. They should be ashamed to offer such a service.
