Mixed messages about gift cards, only wanting online business

I wanted to purchase a gift card. Upon request visiting the premises, I was told they need to order gift cards and I can contact them to find out when they have them in stock again.

I emailed the main site and was then told I cannot buy a gift card from the premises but have to order online and it will be a digital, not a physical gift card, despite the person on site telling me they will put the card in an envelope when I asked about gift wrapping.

The business itself seems to just want to make quick money online while not bothering to provide physica gift cards and not taking cash. I decided to not give them my business and change the gift idea to something else.
