App is ok until you have an issue!!!!

Ther app is ok until you have an issue! The support and "Priority Support" are a complete joke!!!!!!! I sold a card and the buyer cracked the PSA case and sent me a picture and said it was broke in the mail. It was packaged very well. They made me accept the return and when I got it back, not only was it cracked perfectly (just at the top) the card inside was not my card. It was the same card but had pinholes on it. The customer cracked the PSA 9 slab just enough to get the card out and slip an old damaged one inside and then made a claim for a refund and I was forced to accept it. Contacted support team on 5 occasions and kept getting the run around and then they went silent. There is NO protection for the seller on the site, so proceed with caution.

Great Until You Actually Need Support

I was satisfied with the app — until I had a real issue.

I’ve used CollX’s shipping process for all of my transactions. In the past month alone, I’ve had THREE buyers claim their cards never arrived and request refunds. Each time, CollX sided with the buyer.

I am now out over $100 AND the cards themselves.

When I filed a complaint, I received nothing more than a generic, stock response about their shipping policy. No investigation. No meaningful support. No accountability. Sellers are forced to assume 100% of the risk, even when using CollX’s own shipping process.

That is unacceptable.

If buyers can simply claim an item didn’t arrive and automatically get refunded, while the seller loses both product and money, the platform is fundamentally broken for sellers.

The app looks polished, but when something goes wrong, there is no real protection or support. Sellers beware — you carry all the risk.

It’s a good app on the outside looking in! That’s my title

Was mostly satisfied with app until I had a problem!!! Been a pro level user for 2 years and never really had any issues until a refund was requested and it was he changed his mind (not my problem) in the dispute collex support team said no refund but then issues a return !!!( same as a refund in my book) so im still responsible for it now !!!! I’ve tried to message the priority support team for three weeks have sent 11 to 15 messages and went through their AI support and had them sent over prioritized and urgent messages and have not heard not one thing back. How does that make you a priority support team and make your people feel like they’re actually pros in this game so changing sites and servers it’s a great out if you don’t have any problems whatsoever first problem no help. so if you want to catalogue your collection, hopefully they can get the right card name and number and parallel but for the most part is just you gotta go to eBay and then still put it in yourself so if you have a computer you can do all this yourself with a spreadsheet.

Clearer communication, greater transparency in dispute resolutions, and stronger seller protections would go a long way toward building trust and confidence for those selling on the platform.

CollX is a solid platform for buying and selling trading cards, and it has a lot of potential. That said, sellers should proceed with caution.

From a seller’s perspective, there appears to be limited protection against bad-faith claims. The system understandably prioritizes the platform and the buyer, but the lack of transparency during disputes is concerning. Disputes are meant to reach a resolution, and while sellers are expected to accept the final outcome, both parties should be clearly informed of the reasoning behind any decision.

In situations where a buyer claims an item is counterfeit, the seller may be placed at a disadvantage. A buyer can submit photos or videos for review, and while CollX states that a staff member evaluates this material, sellers are often not provided with details of that review or the justification for the decision. In some cases, sellers only become aware of the outcome by closely monitoring the transaction themselves, rather than through direct communication.

Clearer communication, greater transparency in dispute resolutions, and stronger seller protections would go a long way toward building trust and confidence for those selling on the platform.

If you’re thinking of using CollX

If you’re thinking of using CollX, save yourself the trouble. This company has awful business practices and is completely unreliable, especially for sellers. The app’s scanning feature is wildly inconsistent and frustrating to use, often misidentifying items or failing to recognize them entirely. As a seller, avoid this platform at all costs — there’s absolutely no seller protection. If something goes wrong with a transaction, CollX won’t help you.

I reached out to customer service regarding an issue, and I was appalled by how rude and unprofessional they were. A guy named Tim, who apparently works for their support team, has no business being in customer service. He was dismissive, condescending, and completely unwilling to resolve my issue. Honestly, he shouldn’t even have a job in this field.

Overall, this company is a nightmare to deal with. Their lack of support, combined with faulty app functionality, makes it clear they only care about profit, not their users. Don’t waste your time or money here. There are much better platforms out there that actually value their customers.

Beware!!!

Beware!!!! I sold sports cards on collx. The buyer received the cards and was satisfied. However I never received payment. I contacted collx several times to tell them they had not deposited sale funds to my account to no avail. Beware of this site. Customer service is pretty much non-existent they send you random responses with no actions attached. it's been a month and I'm still not been paid. If I could use a zero score I would. I also received the $15 credit from collx due to the sale that I made, but could not spend the credit. Did not live up to my expectations by any means.

App doesn’t work customer service is nonexistent

I have the “pro” version and the only pro in the situation is they can proceed to charge me monthly whereas the program has not been working right. Now the last two days I can’t even get into the app. You contact customer service via email and they send the message to your app. I can’t get into the app so I can’t see the message. Don’t dare actually get a real customer service agent because they get rude when you ask a simple question. I have over 10k cards scanned & no access to them. Don’t bother with this useless app. It’s a scam.

Going on months now with outstanding…

Going on months now with outstanding refunds caused by inactives. Collx wasn't allowing the sellers to issue refunds, and then all the sudden are. Can't get refunds from inactives and Collx hasn't done anything about it. Stay away from this app most of the reviews are from their "Ambassadors" who will encourage scamming. I was an Ambassador at one point until I told them to remove me from that crap when I realized what was going on. Even that took a month or more. They have absolutely no care in the world about their customers and that is a huge problem. They just want your good cards and money, Collx has no care or concern how they get it. Allowing multiple accounts by select people is a huge red flag.

CollX is a joke

CollX is a joke. Signed up for pro and started using it, then suddenly could not get into PTO. That means I can’t access more than 500 cards. I downloaded well over thousand cards. I tried to contact them several times and they only responded once without ANY assistance. They have continued to charge the $10 monthly fee. I believe they were just stalling to collect more money before I cancelled their lack of service, service.

This technology isn’t readily available…

This technology isn’t readily available at this time. I have 30 unknown scans to one good scan. Pay for CollX services and have to get prices from eBay. CollX should contact Elon musk for help with facial recognition. And don’t even try to scan a shiny card. I’ve contacted CollX support with no luck and the problem only gets worse as if they make scanning even more difficult. I’ve scanned over 50,000 cards with CollX and have months of time invested in my collection. Any support they could give with their product would be greatly appreciated

Becuase to me its the best sports card…

Becuase to me its the best sports card collecting site where u can connect with people all over the world the best thing about the app is all u have to do is scan either the front of the card or the front and back of the card and will fine that card in the database and will give last time it was sold and for what price it tells you the value of the card in Mint, Near Mint, Raw, Good, Fair, Poor and even if rhe card has been Graded by PSA it gives you the value of the card and then you can list for sale on CollX and you can add it your personal collection and once you scan the scan the card and add it to the collection it will then give you every card in that set in a black and white picture and once scan the cards and add them to your collection it mark the card in that set and turn it to a color picture letting you know that you now have that. Hands down the number one cars collecting site/app that is real an authenticated and if you kinda loss tough with collecting for a lil bit it will def get you back into realm of it just seeing what your collection is actually worth these days i def recommend to anyone that has or is or wants to start collecting this is the place to be.or you can download the app on the iphone- app store, android- Play store, or Windows- the microsoft store.
