Good education..... but bad financial aid officers
Good education but you could educate your financial aid staff more. Most didn’t know how to handle a single parent household on FAFSA, or know what the actual age for declaring financial independence was. Or, how to put existing private loans into deferment. So my best advice would be to train your financial aid staff. 24 is age of independence and if it’s a single parent household, you only need ONE parent’s income. End of story. Caused me SO many headaches because they didn’t know how to do their jobs.

The teachers are great but the billing is poor. Not everything was billed the way it should have been so when the program was over, there was a surprise balance owed to the school instead of being billed through financial aid.

When some one comes to get a Bachelors…
When some one comes to get a Bachelors degree, they should be informed that the school is not regionally accredited. I tried to apply to a major university for my Masters Degree and was denied because of this issue. If I had known this when I did the sit down I would have chosen a different school.

This is my second time going to College America, and its a lot better! I'm satisfied with the on line training that I'm receiving now. They provide a lot of resources.
I wanted small class sizes
I wanted small class sizes, fast track learning, and instructors that actually help you. I found all 3 at CollegeAmerica, I would recommend this school to anyone desiring a medical, business, or tech degree.

CollegeAmerica has an excellent environment for advancing your learning desires. The atmosphere is friendly and small. All information being taught/shared with students are the what's happening now. All instructors are experts in the field of study being taught. The staff actually cares about students' academics, attendance, and performance.

Teachers are Awesome
I like the way all the teachers take time to explain the different kinds of learning material to the students. It helps us understand better what it is we will be doing later on in our field of work.

Teachers are as prepared as they can be…
Teachers are as prepared as they can be with the technology given, however the tech is faulty or they aren't showed how to use it. They are only national accredited instead of regionally, so most credits don't transfer. The classes are disorganized and seemingly out of order.

I have had an excellent journey at CollegeAmerica. The staff and teachers shantel wilson and Nate crowder are very helpful and have the time to visit with you and make sure your doing good not just ok. I am in the medical field and am currently getting my Masters degree in Healthcare administration. My journey began in 2014 and I received my associates degree in medical specialties then went on to do my bachelors degree and was going to just stop there but one man told me(Dan Karcie) to check out the masters program and I did! I am glad I did because it is going to open more opportunity for my future job. Thank you Dan Karcie!!

The school staff is always concerned on how you are doing as well as if they can help individuals with anything. At College America you are a student/person with a name not a student with just a number ID. They know what the resources that is needed to helping with your question. As well as a willingness to help as they can.
I have recommended them several times, just for individuals to get their GED, if not for anything else. I explain what further programs they have there as well.
