I received very good support from Codan…
I received very good support from Codan forsikring during my car accident, starting from reporting accident to damage repair at my workshop.
I am unable to give 5 star due to the fact that I had to arrange transport for my damaged car to my workshop because customer representative could not confirm if road side assistance is included in my policy. Later it was found that it was included. However except that instances my overall experience in last 4 years with Codan is very good. Thanks to entire Codan team.

dreadful cordon website

Very disappointed and got treated disrespectfully.
I rarely write reviews. I had a better expectation from Codan! I had been a customer of Codan since 2017. I recently bought a new car and had another insurance company. I then got contacted by one of Codan employees and got an offer. I said yes to the offer if I had to pay the exact amount I was paying for the previous insurance company that I had since I really liked the customer service at Codan. However, things went south. They increased the monthly insurance fee without contacting or explaining to me. And I had to call them to figure out what happened since that wasn’t the amount I made an agreement for. However, the employee from Codan was so rude and disrespectful towards me, he didn’t even lemme explain myself, he kept interrupting me. And by the way, he kept saying that I have 14 days to change my insurance as he wasn’t bothered if I’m satisfied or not. He sounded so careless as it doesn’t matter if I stay or leave. I swear to God I’m so glad it was over the phone, otherwise that employee could have kicked me out if it was in person since he was that rude over the phone! I work in the hospitality sector myself and that’s not the right way to treat your customer, especially when I’m paying my money to get the service I deserve. Unless you like being humiliated over the phone with your own money, I recommend you to stay away from this company!

The Codan Insurance Policy Agent was detailed and patient with my questions. I had the sense that the conversation and information given by the agent was transperant without hiding any information.

Finally
Finally, Codan paid about 75% of the original bike value. But getting there was painful, with lots of emails, proof and explanations. I felt they did not really want to help & rather make it tricky to get the case approved. Loads of mixed feelings … great customer service looks different.
