The delivery has just arrvied from the North West. The two drivers were so friendly and absolutely fantastic service. The qualtity of the concrete posts, plus the individual boards are excellent and well made. I would certainlty recommend Cocklestorm Fencing to anyone, as they do the whole package so saves going to other companies to complete the order, plus they have taken back two posts as I misordered. They have also come from the North West to Hereford arrving spot on time. Well done and what excellent service.

I visited today after placing an order on eBay . I received a notification from cocklestorm the next day telling me order ready to collect explaining in full address and how to find them. I turned up was seen to straight away in the office and the yard lad carried my fencing to my car .I was extremely happy with the quality and will definitely use them again many thanks again for an excellent service.

I needed a new wooden gate as a matter of urgency. Somebody came to measure up on Wednesday. The gate was then made and fitted the following Tuesday in the pouring rain. Great efficient service from friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Had my Garden gate delivered yesterday. I was given a 1 hr time slot, which is great as you don’t have to hang around wasting your day.
The delivery driver was polite ,friendly and went above and beyond to get it were I needed it.

Purchased a large order of 76 individual 1ft Premium foil wrapped fence panels & 19 foil wrapped tops costing over £4598.00. When I phoned my order through Cocklestorm were very helpful and double checked everything with me. Their patience installed lots of confidence in my purchase. I received an email ahead of my delivery advising that when my items would be delivered so the communication & experience was good so far. On delivery day the driver was very professional and even bought some spares incase some got damaged during transit. The downside is you have to thoroughly check every panel on the spot which was not mentioned in my pre-delivery email, and neither did the driver mention. This was impossible to do on a stack of panels as I said 76 individual 1ft panels and 19 tops. Frustrating that nothing was mentioned until all of the panels were unloaded and swapped out two damaged panels. All ok so far until I started removing the multiple cover strips on both sides of each panel. I found panels were not finished off correctly on the edges, part of the finish was missing in places on the board hence showing the original white base colour and some damaged panels, and it was clear they had stored some panels for a long time. The quality control was shocking. I rang Cockelstorm within 24 hours to report that I had started to find some issues with the panels and I had put them to one side. I was promised a call back and it never happened. I made multiple calls and each time was promised a call back and Cocklestorm never called back. I rang again and requested that my concerns were escalated to the Manager Mark and again the call back was never returned. My final thoughts on Cocklestorm - Anything up to the point of purchase was a good experience but any issues after I was left to sort out on my own - Not great service and the quality control on the foil wrapped panels is to be desired. Oh and the 15 year warranty is only on the colour of the panel and not the panel itself.

An excellent company. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very very helpful. We found them easy to talk to and were really flexible, ensuring we received what we wanted. Our main contacts were Hazel and Paul who were brilliant.
The work itself was completed quickly and with no mess. They even cleaned the fencing down before they left.
We have only good things to say about this company and the lovely people who work there. Recommended 100%

had a fence fitted to the front of our house and a gate fitted at side The parts needed were delivered at approx 08.15 by a very pleasant young man the fitters arrived just as he left they erected the fence and gate quickly and efficiently cleared up all the rubbish and brushed the area clear i am unable to find anything to complain about wich is a shame as i like a good moan lol totally excellent from first order to final fitting and at a very reasonable price

I ordered replacement foil wrapped upvc panels and replacement gate which were built to order. Fitting team were polite and cleaned up afterwards taking away old panels and gate. I would recommend company willingly

Dear Sir,

Having phoned up Cocklestorm, making complaint about a missing section of timber. I received a call from a person who self described himself as the Sales Manager.

He refused to accept a section of timber was missing from the gate supplied. Asserting that one long edge has no such timber, allowing for hinging.

Having been a joiner for more than forty years, I can assure you that the man does not know what he is talking about.

Firstly: Hinging of a gate should always occur on the 4" x 1" framed and braced part of the gate.

Secondly: If you decide that a gate will be hung on the waney - lap side of the gate; you should make enquiry to the customer on which side hinging is to occur. so you can put the ONE edge timber on the correct side. For a whole host of reasons the concept of hanging a gate on the waney lap side is inconceivable. Should your sales manager have any practical knowledge whatsoever, he would know this.

His assertion that the gate would be too wide if it had two edging pieces is absolute rubbish. As it is the gate will fit my situation with the addition of both edge pieces being applied. A simple reduction in the width of the framed and braced element of the gate could allow for both edge pieces to be applied, whilst maintaining the 3' width it is described as.

I wish you well in your endeavours but your company will not receive any endorsements from myself.

I couldn't be happier with our new fence! Great work from the lads who did the job and excellent customer service from Claire and Hazel. I would 100% recommend Cocklestorm to everyone!

I recently engaged Cocklestorm to undertake a garden fence repair involving the removal and replacement of a concrete garden post. Following several aborted attempts in contracting the work to a sub-contractor of Cocklestorm, ultimately, the work was carried out to a very high standard directly by an employee of the company.
My advice to Cocklestorm following my experience would be to exercise greater care in the recruitment and selection of sub-contractors. The company's reputation may be quickly jeopardised by the injudicious hiring of such contractors.
