I signed up with CLS after my Uncle died and hadn't left a Will. The Estate was quite complicated with shares and investments, loads of Bank Accounts, a property, etc..
I felt it was too much for me to handle on my own.
I obtained a quote from CLS based on his assets and they worked out a price with a couple of optional extras which I thought were worthwhile.
At the end of the process the Estate was charged exactly what had been agreed, not a penny more.
The allocated Case Manager was Jon Hampson who contacted me when he received the case and after providing further information he handled the case until its conclusion. He and his team completed all of the Inheritance Tax forms, collected in all monies from financial institutions, liaised with HMRC and paid the relevant tax owed, completed the Estate Accounts, applied for Probate which was granted, and paid any outstanding debts. The only thing they don't do is get involved in the sale of the house but I was able to do this and have the funds paid into the Estate Account for distribution.
Jon Hampson and his team were very helpful throughout the process and guided me when there were matters that I needed to deal with as Personal Representative.
The final distribution of funds has just been approved for payment so the Administration of the Estate is now complete.
I think that Jon Hampson and CLS have done an amazing job in completing the Administration in less than 20 months since my Uncle died, which is less than 18 months since I signed the contract with them.
I would recommend CLS to anyone needing this kind of help and I wouldn't hesitate in using them again.

communications abysmal......avoid
Agent who came to our house to make a will.very knowlegable and thorough but for a week now how tried daily to cancel the power of attorney section and receive a refund for this ,numerous emails and phone calls either ignored or not received so to date very annoyed plus £800 out of pocket , so would definately NOT recommend

From one extreme to another...
After receiving an excellent service from Co-op re my father's funeral, I decided to use their service for Probate.
This has been an an extremely mixed experience.
I'd give their initial 'support' 1 star. The person I was allocated was extremely poor, taking huge amounts of time to respond to any correspondence.
After making a complaint, I was allocated a new member of staff - Hri Agnihotri. This is where the support went from a 1 star experience, to a 5 star one. Hri has been absolutely fantastic, providing regular updates and always responding promptly to contact made on my side. She even saved me a sizable sum in CGT after I initially incorrectly told the Govt I owed funds which I didn't!
I can't speak highly enough re Hri's service provided, which I'm really appreciative of.
With the two very different experiences put together, I'll balance it out to a 3 star review.
The main reason I'm writing this review is to praise Hri. She honestly deserves a pay rise and promotion!

Friendly and reassuring
Was very anxious at the beginning of the video call, but was soon put at ease. Everything was explained clearly and ensured that I fully understood each step of the Will writing procedure. I gave 4 rather than 5 stars, only because I didn't like having to make a 'there and then' decision about a ' Special Offer' to write LPA's as well as the Will.
Despite this, I would definitely recommend.

Easy to arrange..
We used estate planning Co-op to get a will.
It was easy to arrange over the telephone with a choice of times and dates .
Our appointment was with CE. He was clear in explaining wills and their suitability. He answered our questions and is professional and knowledgable.
We also discussed LPA and funerals which we will be addressing in the future.
