CMC Desktop and Android Application
The Desktop application is immersive and easy to navigate, specifically to make swift trades. The Android application, is quite contained and is taking some time to acquaint with but all in all CMC offering is very intuitive.

Platform is much better these days than a decade ago
Have been using CMC CFD for about a decade. Over that time there have been various positive upgrades. In the early years there were significant non market related price moves on the platform that for a few seconds resulted in very distant stop loseses being triggered then returning to normal. Good to see that had been corrected and for the past 5 or so years the marketmaker prices have closely followed the real market.

Stolen ETFs? ETF disappeared from holdings!!!
I logged into my account and one of my high performing US ETFs had completely disappeared along with all the money (in excess of $4000). GONE. No, I did not sell it or anything! It was there in the morning, gone in the afternoon. Have used CMC for 12 months without issue, but now I don't trust them at all. Especially when you look on Reddit, you'll see this is not uncommon. VOO is a very popular ETF! There was no warning, no information on their website about maintenance or systems being down - all other stocks and ETFs are there. I have emailed and been on hold for 45 minutes and no answer. I concur with others that their admin is terrible. I regret choosing CMC and once this is fixed, I will be transferring to another brokerage. I have commenced this process. CMC need to give me my ETF back ASAP! Goodness me.

Not being able to get better commission…
Not being able to get better commission and spread rates as a professional trader and the charting software does not have all the indicators that i use on a day to day basis. Such as relative strength of one security to another. I am not referring to the RSI index.
