No Refund policy, because they Never refund, only reject giving your stolen money back. This is how this crooked company operates,- never pays any money back. Why won't the government shut these crooks down? - "Scammers"!

Scam service.

They advertise things that they don't actually have. They don't offer any benefit that I can see with their service. I turned off auto renew right after I signed up. When I signed up it did not say anything about a promotional offer, but when they auto renewed me even though I turned if off months ago they also doubled the price. They will not refund the charge, even though the charge is still pending because it just happened today.

Scam

I searched for my 1968 yearbook several months ago. The book wasn't easy to find but l finally found it. I was able to see my entire class as well as my teachers and my mom as she worked at the school. I recently tried to find my yearbook again. They said that they did not have the book on their site. What happened? Don't know but this is no way to run a business. I have been scammed.

These ****ing scumbags deserve negative…

These ****ing scumbags deserve negative stars. Once they get your credit card numbers, it’s all over. You will end up having to cancel the card because these f**kers LIE right through their teeth even if you carefully check the box saying you DO NOT want auto-renewal. I asked them if they had sent any evidence that I was in agreement with any further transactions they tried on my card AFTER only making a ONE time $9 purchase for a 90 day subscription to their website. They tried saying “We sent you receipts of the four auto-renewals”. Of course, I simply checked ALL my email folders and I’d never received ANY receipts from them ever. They’re f**king scummy criminal thieves that have already been sued in a class action suit and lost for $2.5 million. That was 2006. They’ve continued doing the same GD thing. F**king scumbags.

Using DEAD people as BAIT

They told me I had a recent visitor notice by Gwen Smith LimXXXX. Gwen passed away in April. 2016. How insulting is that to use a dead person to trick people into joining your stupid ass club. They have absolutely NO respect for classmates living or dead. I've lost any interest I might have had in your classmate racket.
Quit lying to people and find a job you losers.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. Once you sign up for the free account they send you emails with blurred photos and names of people you may have gone to school with. I got stupid and gave in and got a 3 month membership. Practically no one in my class has a plus membership so there is nothing to really look at or do. And there a lot of fake profiles on there too-I know I didn’t go to school with Bob Saget. Anyways don’t be stupid like me and pay for a membership because it’s a scam.

I don’t recommend this online company

I don’t recommend this online company! They automatically renew and charge for membership accounts without notification to the membership holder. I never agree to a year membership; only 3 months at a time , but I saw an $18 charge on my bank statement. After a very lengthy phone wait I spoke with customer service who told me membership is $18 per month not $18 for 3 months. No prior notification given. This is outrageous behavior and I have to say the app is lousy and isn’t worth $9 let alone $18. There is absolutely a no refund policy for any situation! I now understand why most people give a one star review.

Classmates is a terrible company

Classmates is a terrible company, I ordered a reproduction yearbook, it was the cheaper softcover version because I wanted to make sure it was up to par. I received it and at first I was pleasantly surprised, it was well done. Then I perused it page by page, the last half was all jumbled, pages were out of order, grade pictures were not alphabetical, almost unusable. When I contacted them all they said was there may be writing because it a copy of an actual yearbook. I wrote back the writing is fine but not the sequence of pages. Now crickets, they no longer respond. Stay away from these people.

Stolen money

My account was billed again against my directions as I cancelled this membership 3 years ago. I did not receive advance notice that I would be billed $60.00 and I want this amount returned and never done again. What you do is quite illegal.

This company is a complete rip-off!

This company is a complete rip-off and specializes in scamming money from the consumer. I signed up for a year's membership. At no time did I select auto-renew. They did this in my account, and without any notice, auto-renewed my membership at 2.5 x higher than my initial year's payment. I did not authorize this charge or receive any advance notice. I emailed them repeatedly without any replies. Email is the only way to get in touch with them. I have filed complaints with every agency I can find and the BBB out of Seattle.

Classmate isn't safe.

Classmates.com is not only terrible if you try and resign they have no protection if a member harassed you. I joined and was constantly being bothered by an old classmate who wouldn't stop. When I told him to stop contacting me he got angry and called me nasty names. Classmates did nothing . This is serious. I will now need to get police involved.

Ripoff

Once you sign up for the "premium" version, you'll still get lots of ads on the site. They email you daily. The site is low rent and poorly designed. I complained to Classmates that I was being harassed by another member twice. They did nothing. I hate Facebook, but this site is even worse. You'll also get constant ads about buying a copy of your yearbook for "only" $90. Don't. Just don't.

A bogus BS scam all protected by a bunch of legalese crap which should give anyone that reads the terms and conditions would be a glaring flag about this business. Never advised of a billed renewal policy that I could recall but it was most likely hidden in their legal terms. You have to dig pretty deep to find a phone number and then they direct you to their site to run you around the barn even more. Stay away from this outfit and you’ll reduce your frustration level big time !

classmates.com review

I started our classmates.com site on July 3, 2009.
While there have been some 'glitches' over the years, when compared to other alumni sites I have looked at, we have chosen to stay with CC. There are a multitude of things you can do with their site: an obituary page, announcements on the home page, administrators can email the class, or email selected classmates, create pages, a forum for everyone to participate in, private messages between members, each member can post pictures on their 'page,' and administrators can create pages with pictures, such as events like reunions, luncheons, etc., easy link to recover your password should you forget it, each member has a profile as well as a contact information page the can update. There is a help page where administrators [webmasters] from other classcreator sites [around the world] can share ideas, help each other, etc., as well as menu of literally hundreds of help topics.
Is it obvious, that I recommend you use classcreator.com? You bet it is!

Steer clear and away!

Fraudulent site overpopulated with fake profiles. When in my class, maybe 5-8 stood out who actually graduated and the rest are all fake profiles. Including the ones who message me. Makes the entire experience of being here quite a creepy one. Who knows what sort of info they data mine off of you.
