Ice Maker


I purchased an icemaker as we are dependent on our icemaker for our business. After receiving it our existing ice machine was able to be repaired. I therefore wanted to return it. Ckitchen.com was going to charge me over $600.00 to return it. $600, for nothing, we were prepared to pay something, but almost 1/4 of the price for nothing. Obviously we will never be using them again. Greedy with no care for struggling customers.

Hidden delivery fees

I ordered a 3-compartment sink. The webpage said shipping was free. Then I got an email with a link to their shipping and handling details page, asking me to confirm my address as business or residential, because residential deliveries cost an additional $50.

I wrote back and said that their website said the shipping was free, and I didn't realize it was my responsibility to hunt down the S&H page to ensure that the free shipping was actually free. I concluded with saying that I wanted the price I was given on their webpage.

She said no, so I said I'll spend my money elsewhere. I will not support a company that is not upfront with their prices.

Humorously, at the time of writing this, I noticed that their site no longer displays the price or mentions the shipping, it now says "call for price."

Price Match Scam

They are a scam when its comes to price match GUARANTEE. I sent the link showing where I could buy them less expensive and the girl send a response that they are out of stock. I sent her another site and the scam artist cancelled my order. I'll NEVER order anything from them again. False advertising is a bad way to do business. You will see the price goes thru that you enter to match but then it goes back to their price. Stay away if you want to save money. There's a lot more place with better prices.

Michael, I'm sorry about this situation, but I would like to fill in some info. After your order came in, you asked us to retroactively price match and we did agree to do that. Unfortunately, the company you mentioned did not have the item in stock and we were unable to add the item to a cart and see what their freight cost would be. Interesting to point out that now that they do have the item in stock, their price with freight is higher than ours. ALL ITEMS ON OUR SITE ARE FREE FREIGHT!
There was no second website mentioned in your email string and you instructed us in writing to cancel your order.

Never going elsewhere for commercial refrigeration…

Never going elsewhere for commercial refrigeration or cooking appliances. These guys A) Know what they're talking about and can give good advice about which brands will hold up over the long run, what tools we might want, how to get the most value from shelving, etc.
AND B) They use reputable shippers and pack things well. I can't tell you how many webstaurant.com packages have been DESTROYED when they arrived. CKitchen spend the extra $1 on cardboard to keep this from happening. Having a dedicated representative also helps keep things rolling smoothly.

Become a very loyal repeat customer

I have made several purchases over the past four years and become a very loyal repeat customer. for several reasons. The number one reason is my sales representative . He listens takes the time to truly understand my needs, does not just take any order he gets involved, makes recommendations and offers alternative solutions to be considered because of his vast knowledge of the food service industry. I am sure your other representatives are excellent as well.
