Will Not Pay Money Owed so Taking Legal Action Against CJ
We are a publisher that worked with CJ for over a decade, and they suddenly stopped paying with no good reason a couple of years ago. They are not disputing that they owe they money but are saying they cannot pay due to their system issue verifying company and tax information even though our information has not changed.
My company has been trying to get paid by CJ for over a year. Customer service are literally telling lies and sending me around in circles non stop.
CJ stopped paying publishers a couple of years ago, and are withholding payment for no reason continuously. They have our company information and tax information but are saying they cannot verify even this even though it is a matter of public record. Their customer service staff are simply being dishonest at this stage.
We have added the information, then readded, and emailed time and time again to get this resolved. It is the most incompetent company that I have come across in all my years of business.
We have no choice but to take legal action, and submit a claim to the courts in Ireland.
A completely inaccessible company
I signed up with CJ but didn’t feel comfortable with the level of personal information they requested. Rather stupidly I didn’t do my homework first. If I had, I wouldn’t have touched them with a barge pole as a result of all the appalling reviews!
Once I’d signed up I realised affiliate marketing wasn’t for me. I spent two hours trying to reach their support page to request my account be deleted only to be directed to a blank page every time. There is no email address. Nothing!
I do not feel happy about this company holding my personal details and not having any way of being able to delete my account. Surely this isn’t legal??
If a company makes themselves completely inaccessible, to me it indicates they have something to hide.

Where’s my money?
For the record, I have not breached any policies, and I'm quite a high-level publisher based on my monthly traffic and conversion rate.
Anyway, I can confirm CJ does not pay. I've had money sitting around in my CJ account since November, and I have not received a penny. All that's happening is my account balance is piling up.
Response from Ticket #01613131 (date 06/02/24)
Your payment was unable to be processed in prior cycles because this verification step was ongoing. However, that verification process is now complete, so payment should be sent automatically in the next available payout cycle! Once payment is generated, it will go through our standard approval process before being issued.
Future payments should not have to go through this tax form verification process unless your tax information was changed within CJ.

Update: 22/03/2024
We noticed that you recently made a change to your information within the CJ Account Manager. Your payment details must be validated prior to sending payments so I can confirm your account is now in the queue to be verified by our Corporate team.
Once verification is successful, no notification will be sent, but you’ll see your payments get processed in the next available cycle. Future payments wouldn’t need additional verification unless you make changes to your payment details.
If Corporate cannot verify the information, I’ll reach back out with information on what needs to be addressed
Is it me or are these responses similar
Does CJ actually pay publishers. There’s so many Reddit posts of them not paying publishers. I’ve removed the links from my site. They’ve made 8.4k off me for free
Reactivated Account Immediately
Due to no transactions, CJ deactivated my account.
But before that, they sent me email that my account will be deactivated.
I requested them not to deactivate because my account is new, and I have activated links recently, but they did not respond.
However, today they deactivated my account but reactivated immediately. Thanks for that.
I was worried that like Amazon, my generated affiliate links will be gone but all of my advertisers and links were active.
DO NOT USE CJ.com UNLESS IT IS YOUR GOAL TO GIVE AWAY FREE ADVERTISING TO THEIR AFFILIATES.
I signed up to use CJ.com while building readership of a family focused website and LOCATE REAL SPONSORS. To test the advertisers services or products I and my website designer purchased services from two affiliate sponsors. In spite of making CJ.com and the company that owed me the largest (hundreds of dollars) commission payment aware of the fact that the company has yet to be paid any of the money due even allowing them over 18 months to do the right thing and pay their bill. DO NOT USE CJ.com UNLESS IT IS YOUR GOAL TO GIVE AWAY FREE ADVERTISING TO THEIR AFFILIATES.

I joined CJ platform 6 months ago and hardly struggling Made first $50 by joining a opera cashback affiliate program which pay $0.50 per lead. Was expecting payment on pay date but they issue only $2.50(which can'tbe withdraw) and my rest of income still lock it has been 2 month as well not got any support email related this after sending couple of emails and issue tickets.
Where is my money? no support
I've been trying to make my withdrawal for months, I've already opened several tickets and I only have one automatic response to my ticket. There is no support or help, I wasted time and money on the platform that doesn't pay me. Don't believe positive reviews saying that negative reviews are fake. It makes no sense for thousands of negative reviews to be fake.
Don't trust this platform, I'm very frustrated.

The only reason I still keep trying is that I want to be an affiliate for booking.com. The user experience with this site is terrible. I can't activate my account, customer support not working.

CJ.Affiliate Scam
In a recent experience, my advertiser account with CJ Affiliate was abruptly canceled, notably following a three-month delay in commission payments for sales generated for their client. This action raises serious concerns regarding CJ Affiliate's commitment to fair and transparent business practices. Such delays and subsequent cancellations not only undermine the trust of affiliates but could also be detrimental to the reputation of their clients, who might not condone these practices. This scenario serves as a cautionary tale for aspiring affiliate marketers, suggesting that reliance on CJ Affiliate may entail unforeseen risks and challenges. It also prompts clients of CJ Affiliate to reconsider the alignment of such practices with their brand values and the potential impact on their relationships with both affiliates and customers. This experience reflects a need for greater accountability and ethical standards in the affiliate marketing industry, advocating for a business environment where transparency and fairness are not just promised, but consistently delivered.
Highly recommend looking into Flexoffers.com and Shareasale.com before wasting time and resources on a company that will go to great lengths to avoid paying you the commissions you have earned.
I was scammed out of approximately $700…
I was scammed out of approximately $700 by the CJ team. After working hard for two months to promote their brands, I earned around $700 in commissions. However, when I tried to withdraw my balance, I was informed that I needed to fill out some tax forms. I completed the forms, but was then told that I would have to wait several weeks for verification. When I tried to contact them to inquire about the status of the tax forms and why it was taking so long, they banned me. When I called to inquire about the ban, they told me it was done by the quality team. I was shocked and asked why the quality team would ban me. They explained that the quality team had discovered that some of my sales were made from countries outside of the designated areas, which violated the terms of the contract and led to the ban. So essentially, the only mistake I made was generating sales from areas that were not desired by them, even though it was still possible to make sales and get paid. They ignored this and said the ban was final. Can you believe this legal scam? I reached out to the brand I worked with, and they informed me that they had no problem with selling globally, and that this move was likely made by the CJ team to keep the commissions for themselves. In response, I have decided to start a negative campaign next week. Just as I spent money and energy promoting them, I will now spend the same amount of effort in telling the truth. Before doing so, I wanted to confirm whether or not this ban was final and if they would refund all the transactions I made and the commissions I generated. However, they are simply ignoring me because they don't want to refund the sales I made; they just want to keep the commissions for themselves and kick me out. Furthermore, in their legal messages, they mentioned that I am not legally allowed to share screenshots of their emails or I could be taken to court. I have never seen a mafia-like operation like this before. They are blackmailing me to go public and speak out, while also preventing me from accessing my own data, my previous commissions, and my right to tell the truth. I sincerely hope that Trustpilot will honor me by making this review public and accessible, so that I can update it and inform people around the world who come here to leave honest feedback without fear of being blackmailed.

Missing Funds and Unresponsive Customer Support at CJ.com
I have been an affiliate with CJ.com for a decade now, and over the years I have always found their service to be lacking.
However, a recent incident has brought my concerns to a breaking point: at the end of August €7500, all being confirmed commissions set to be paid out, disappeared from my account with no trace or explanation.
Despite numerous emails and requests for explanations, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response.
The support I have received has been lackluster at best. The affiliate support emails are disorganized and fail to address the core issue, leaving me in a loop of frustration. There seems to be a communication about some bank transfers, possibly three, initiated at the end of August, but none of them reached my bank account. My bank confirmed that no such transfers were received, and had there been any error in the details, the funds would have bounced back.
I have repeatedly requested to speak to a payment department supervisor, to no avail. A few days ago, I was contacted by a team handling promotional campaigns for a publisher, and I seized the opportunity to report the issue once more and requested to be connected to a payment department supervisor. Yet again, my request was met with unhelpful responses that felt mocking rather than problem-solving.
The lack of accountability and transparency from CJ.com has been appalling. Not only are my funds missing, but the inability to even discuss the issue with a responsible person is utterly disappointing. This incident has left me feeling helpless and exasperated. I share this experience as a cautionary tale to others who might consider joining CJ.com. The service, at least from my experience, has shown a lack of seriousness in addressing grave issues that affect the financial standings of their affiliates.

Im shocked how anyone could give these…
Im shocked how anyone could give these scammers more than 1 star. They shouldnt be in business for their fraudulent activities of ripping people off and stealing their commissions. PLEASE BEWARE CJ AFFILIATES IS A SCAM!
They just deactivated my account - without any warning or information
My account was abruptly deactivated without any prior notice or explanation, despite my legitimate operations of multiple coupon websites. On this particular affiliate network, I had successfully generated $1,500 in commissions, $250 of which had already been approved. The deactivation occurred right around the time I was expecting my payout, leaving me without any support channels to seek clarification or assistance. This has been a deeply unsettling and damaging experience, especially for newcomers to affiliate marketing like myself. I have concrete evidence, including screenshots, to prove my legitimate earnings. The absence of a forum for publishers to voice complaints about fraudulent practices within the network is a significant oversight. I strongly advise against using this network for generating sales. Adding insult to injury, even after the deactivation, my affiliate URLs continue to function and direct traffic to the store pages, suggesting that my account was deactivated to evade paying me my due commissions.
