Waste of time

Searched for a chiropodist in Southwell. Lots listed in Nottingham (15 miles), Mansfield (12 miles), Newark (8 miles) and even Sleaford (27 miles). But nothing listed in Southwell. There are two chiropodists in Southwell but don't try this site to find them. Wonder what else you can't find?

Appears that companies with a free listing cannot get data updated unless they upgrade!

The CityVisitor appears to trawl the Internet for websites then lists them. Unfortunately our company was listed with an old company address and, despite repeated requests, they have not updated our information.
Companies with a free listing do NOT get a login in order that they can correct their own data so I requested that our data be corrected months ago but my emails go unanswered.
I phoned (Matthew) who remarked that it may not get corrected for some time as they are more interested in paying clients than those with free listings.
I feel that City Visitor lacks credibility as it continues to display incorrect data despite being notified of the new data.

SCAMS. ROGUE SALESMEN. CUTION

Be very cautious when dealing with this company. I was robbed of £120 for web listings which didn't exist. Their salesmen will tell you that they can provide you with everything you need. Once the money is handed over it is a different story.

I explained in detail what I was looking for, sent them examples i had on other websites - couldn't have been clearer. Then once they had taken my cash they couldn't do any of it.

It has been nearly 3 months of sending them emails and I still haven't got a penny back from them.

Upon doing business with them they will ask for you to pay with a card - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS!!!

I managed to persuade them to let me pay via bank transfer. The total bill was around £600 but I told them I'd like to wire over £60 to see if they would do the work and were genuine. They told me that they could only accept a minimum of £120 via bank transfer - I should have smelt a rat here but I handed over the £120. MISTAKE.

I now also realise that the way they have built their directories it gives no benefit whats so ever to your website. Total waste of money, very pushy salesmen that will take every penny they can from you.
