Poor Service and Equipment at Every Level

We purchased a home with a Chubb Alarm system installed by previous owner 18mths. 2GIG was the installed brand. Constant issues from the day we moved in. Not supported by the manufacturer (or it would seem Chubb) any more. Unable to get spare parts. Repeated sensor failures. Trying to get any service or ownership of issues is worse than dealing with a big bank- far worse. I dont think we ever managed to speak to the same person twice at Chubb. No follow up and importantly the product doesnt work. We ripped it out and installed a BOSCH 6000 with a reputable local install and monitoring company where I can actually speak to the boss not disinterested people in a call centre. Disgraceful that a company can sell a system that they cant effectively support within a couple years of purchase. We even had to call several times to ask them to disconnect- nil attempts at service recovery. It was low grade junk sold as a premium service. Delighted to be rid of this company and the crap they sell. This is my experience with Chubb on a corporate level also. A multi national conglomerate with care factor of zero

NO COMMUNICATION; UNTRUSTABLE; MISLEADING SCAMMERS.

LOCATION: ENFIELD.

Firstly, I am a business and home owner for over 20 years. I have dealt with many companies on a daily basis but have NEVER come across a misleading company like this. This has been the worst experience in my business life of over 20 years! Firstly, I was deceived by the Sales representative 'Caron' almost a year ago when signing a contract (which was agreed verbally that it would last 1 year). After 1 year, I called to inform the company that I will not be RENEWING with them. I was SHOCKED that the company did not include in the contract that it was agreed on special terms that the contract would last 1 year. This company is supposed to be a professional, well-known and trustable organisation. However, do not let this fool you! They are deceivers and scammers. I also called her to discuss this with her and she HUNG UP IN MY FACE! Is this called professionalism? I called the office again to inform them of this unprofessional and unnecessary behaviour however, all they were interested in was MONEY. They threatened me that if I did not pay for the entire 3 years, they will charge me a termination fee. WHY DID THEY NOT INCLUDE THIS IN THE CONTRACT IN THE BEGINNING? Prior to this, I emailed the company but nobody responded. Why does this company have an email address but do not reply? This is NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. There has been absolutely no communication whatsoever. If you want a trustable company, that will keep good communication, please DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!

Chubb, a good company gone bad

Chubb was good, now bad. Not sure what has happened here but here's what I do know.

1. Subcontractors - They have engaged subcontractors to undertake their services for them. Completely acceptable however their service levels and competency are poor and arguably dishonest based on services provided to our home.
2. Contact - Once upon a time you could call them and they would resolve issues. Now, contact is a run-around misery.
3. Billing - They'll put it on if you let them. The last two invoices for services were for services not provided.

We have seen this company's service go downhill and we have waited patiently for a course correction but they are committed to their current path. We have decided to end our arrangement with this company and would warn others to look elsewhere for security and home monitoring services.
