Horrific is an understatement.
We were picked up by Bedriven 30 minutes after the scheduled transfer time. We were notified by WhatsApp at 17.05 that she was running 15 mins late due to traffic but we were assured we would still be at the airport in plenty of time for our flight as the traffic out of Lisbon was much less. When she arrived she did not apologise or help with our cases. The journey started and the music she was playing was very loud.
To say the journey was horrific is an understatement. Instead of taking a main route out of Lisbon city centre, she went up and down every cobbled street, stopping and starting and jerking us around in the back. After an hour in the car we had gone round in a circle and were less than a mile away from our hotel. We asked if we were going to make it to the airport on time and the driver said yes and rather than follow the sat nav, went alternative routes which added more time to the journey. She then took a phone call, whilst we were in traffic and wasn't paying attention as she hit the car in front of us - adding more delay to our journey. My son at this point was in tears as he thought we weren't going to make it to the airport or home to England!!
After the crash, she got back in the car and again we reiterated that we were going to be late for our flight and how long did she think it would be before we got to the airport. To which she decided 'I don't speak English'. We eventually got to the airport, my son in tears, at 18.42 (our flight was at 19.50). We got out the car and she got out shouted at us and said 'I hope you all have a horrible flight home'.
Having paid for this service I am appalled by the treatment we received from this driver. She was rude, drove badly and was distracted by her phone on more than one occasion.
